CHAPTER 906 A STRANGE BALL ENTERED HIS BODY

"What's this?"

Darren saw that Chaz was holding something about the size of a sesame seed in his hand.

"This is the Misty Emperor's treasure. If you enter it, it will keep you hidden for a few minutes. But it can

only be used for once."

The Misty Emperor possessed three in total, and he had already used two of them. Chaz had taken his

last one.

"Such a marvelous treasure!"

"Yeah. Those blue-skinned men are good at refining treasures for rule cultivation,"

Chaz said, handing it over to Darren.

"How do I use this?"

Darren nodded and tried to do so. He closed his eyes to focus. Suddenly, he felt a tremendous force

dragging him into the treasure.

When Darren opened his eyes, he felt like the world suddenly became so much bigger. He felt like he

was a snail peeking out of its shell.

"I'll wait for you here. Come back as soon as you can," Chaz told him with his spiritual sense.

"Okay," Darren replied. He flew towards the crowd of beasts.

Darren soon found himself just a few feet away from the beasts.

'The mixture of nefarious aura is making me sick, ' he thought. His breathing grew labored and sweat

began to bead on his forehead.

Several powerful beasts rushed towards the floating ball but they were killed in the blink of an eye.

"Assimilation Skill!" Darren activated the Assimilation Skill to assimilate the talents of the fallen beasts.

When he was able to assimilate their talents, Darren felt as if he were being bathed in sunshine.

He felt a large amount of talents coursed through his veins. When the talents entered his mind, they

turned into a glowing ball of light. They were whisked away into a bright and mysterious space. Darren

used his spiritual sense to better grasp what was going on.

"They are disappearing?"

Darren saw the ball of light fly into the crystal wall.

He used his spiritual sense to probe the surface of the wall and found tiny cracks.

'They are bigger than what I saw the last time.'

Darren saw this as an opportunity to make his own talent grow.

He retreated from the mysterious space and continued to assimilate the talents of the fallen beasts.

He soon felt the sesame-sized treasure threatening to expel him from inside it. It was time to go.

Just when he was about to leave, the ancient golden roc, which had been watching, flew over and

grabbed the ball of light.

The raging ancient rule force exploded, killing more beasts around it.

Darren was thrilled with the possibility of passing through the crystal wall of the mysterious space if he

was able to assimilate all of the talents.

Darren spoke aloud. His spiritual sense immediately entered the space with the crystal wall.

Lots of talents surged into the crystal wall and disappeared.

He listened carefully and heard cracking noises.

He went closer to the wall and saw spider web-like cracks on its crystalline surface.

'It's going to open!'

Darren probed the cracks and saw a seemingly endless sky that was filled with bright stars.

'Wait a minute... Something strange is happening... It seems that there's something going on above the

starry sky...'

Curious, Darren was about to use his spiritual sense to investigate.

"Ah!"

Suddenly, a black shadow covered the cracks.

It emitted a fearful aura. Darren felt that the black aura was more violent and more powerful than any

force that he had ever encountered.

'What's going on? What is this?' Darren was shocked.

'Oh, no. I will be revealed!'

Darren felt that the power of the sesame-sized treasure was fading away as the repulsive force pushed

him out.

Darren tried to fly to where Chaz was in a hurry.

However, after a few seconds, he was expelled from within the treasure.

He was completely exposed to the beasts.

In an instant, thousands of spiritual senses were fixated on Darren, each one with the intention of killing

him.

Darren looked back and saw more than a dozen beasts rushing towards him.

A shadow rushed out from the ground and hit Darren on the back.

Darren tried to get up and felt that his flesh had been torn. His robes were slick with blood.

"Fuck!" Darren cursed, and he drank a drop of the light red liquid.

The earth trembled. Darren's aura rose sharply and in the blink of an eye, he reached the peak of a

half-step emperor.

Not until he had reached a higher realm did Darren find that the shadow was the skeleton of a rat. It

bared its sharp teeth and aimed for his neck.

"Humph!"

Darren sneered. He lifted his sword and swung it towards the rat.

"Squeak!"

Feeling the great power rushing towards it, the skeleton rat tried to escape. However, it was too slow.

Darren's sword bit into its flesh and the rat was chopped in half.

Beasts still rushed towards Darren but instead of fleeing, he stood his ground.

When the beasts came nearer, he swung his mighty blade and sword and attacked.

Darren's blade and sword intents were too much for the beasts and they were all killed.

But this sudden movement seemed to have attracted the attention of the ancient golden roc, whose

fierce eyes pierced Darren like an arrow.

'It's more powerful than I thought.'

Darren could sense that the ancient golden roc was even stronger than the holy emperor's soul that

was placed in the forbidden domain of the Space-time Palace. He could not defeat it even if he drank

more of the light red liquid.

But the ancient golden roc merely glanced at Darren and continued to focus on the ball again.

The ball spun wildly, breaking free from the claw of the ancient golden roc. It suddenly flew out.

Darren was surprised to see that the ball was flying towards him.

Its speed was too great that he could not outrun it.

The ball shrunk and went into his heart.

A small hole appeared in Darren's chest, but he didn't feel any pain.

"You are a dragon? No! No!"

A hoarse voice rang out in Darren's head.

Before he could figure out what was going on, heat enveloped his heart and he could feel his dragon
