Chapter 1420 Make False Accusations

CHAPTER 1420 MAKE FALSE ACCUSATIONS

Carthy finished pledging his allegiance and had become Darren's believer.

Swish! Swish! Swish!

The sword intent flew out and tore Carthy's body apart, spattering flesh and blood all over the ground.

As long as his body was condensed again, the itchy poison would disappear.

Darren released his god's power to repair Carthy's earthly body.

However, Carthy's face was a mask of pain once Darren's god's power settled on his body.

"Master, the human race's god's power... can't cure me. Blood, I need blood..." Carthy said, gasping out

the words.

Darren withdrew his god's power. The body structure of the bloodsucker race was completely different

from that of the human race. They needed warm blood to increase their strength and heal their injuries.

Where could he possibly get blood?

Darren glanced at those who were huddled together.

When they locked eyes with Darren, they froze in place. They seemed terrified of what he was going to

do next.

'Is he going to use our blood to save that alien?' they wondered.

"Sir, please let me go. Don't kill me."

"Sir, I'm willing to be your slave for the rest of my life. I beg of you. Please let me go."

Everyone knelt on the ground and begged for Darren's mercy. Tears streamed down their faces.

The disdain in Darren's eyes became even more intense. He had never thought of killing people and

taking their blood. No matter how useless these people were, he would not take their lives to feed a

bloodsucker, even though the bloodsucker was his own believer. Doing so went against his principles.

Whoosh!

Darren rushed upward and waved his sword. With one fell swoop, he killed thousands of bat-like

winged creatures.

Clatter, clatter, clatter!

The creatures' blood poured down like heavy rain. Darren gathered the blood with his god's power and

poured it all over Carthy's body.

Carthy rolled around the blood and let it seep into every pore of his body.

An hour later, he had fully recovered.

He spread out his huge wings and flew up, shaking off the specks of blood that had been left on his

body. He landed in front of Darren and kneeled.

"My dear master, your most loyal slave, Carthy, is waiting for your order."

Carthy bowed his head.

"Get up."

Carthy stood up with his head still slightly lowered.

"Tell me all that I need to know about the bloodsucker race," Darren ordered.

"Yes, sir."

A stream of Power of Belief rushed into Carthy's head to retrieve the information.

Streams of knowledge poured into Darren's mind, putting him in a trance.

"Huh! There are too many things to know! It will take at least three months for me to finish learning

about all of them!" Darren decided to put it off for later. For now, he needed to go to the capital city and

find Elsa.

"Kill them! Kill! Kill them!"

Suddenly, violent roars rang out.

"Ah!"

"Hiss! Hiss!"

The winged creatures fell from the sky like raindrops. In an instant, tens of thousands of them died.

Sunlight suddenly streamed through the clouds, and there was light again.

Darren looked up and saw ten young men in grey robes standing in the sky. Each one of them held a

pointed spear in their hands and possessed an extraordinary aura. This content provided by N(o)velDrama].[Org.

"They are law enforcing disciples of the Blood Cloud Region." Gatlin recognized them by the clothes

they were wearing.

The ten young men dressed in grey robes landed on the back of the Thunder Bird.

They looked around with their sharp eyes.

"Are you all right?"

the leading young man asked.

The weak cultivators were too scared to answer his question.

"Take them back and investigate them. These bloody beasts came in such a strange manner," the

young man ordered.

"Yes, sir."

The rest of the disciples released their god's power to bring up everyone and place them on the back of

another Thunder Bird.

"You three, come with me!" the leading disciple said to Darren, Weber, and Gatlin.

"Are you going to the capital city?" Darren asked.

"No. We need to take you to another city for investigation," the leading disciple answered. His voice

had gained an impatient edge.

"I'm sorry. But I have to go to the capital city. I cannot delay, so I won't be able to go with you," Darren

said staunchly.

"What?"

The leading disciple raised his eyebrows. "It wasn't a request. When I tell you to do something, you

have to do it. Do you understand?"

"Hey, brat, we were just attacked by aliens. Why should we be investigated?" Weber asked, visibly

annoyed.

The leading disciple took a deep breath to suppress his anger. "We have been investigating the

invasion of the bloodsucker race for a long time. They came in very strangely. Our leaders suspected

that their members could disguise themselves as human beings and sneak in, so we have to

investigate all the people who have met the bloodsucker race."

"Alright. I see. I will let you investigate me, but please do it right here and now. There is an urgent

matter that needs my attention!" Darren said.

These people were just doing their jobs. Darren understood, so he decided to compromise.

"You've left me no choice but to have all of you taken by force. Arrest them!"

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

The ten law enforcers surrounded Darren.

"Humph!"

Gatlin snorted coldly, spreading his god's power.

"How dare you?!"

"Arrest them!" Their opponents were not afraid of Gatlin's aura. Gatlin was just at the middle-level of

the Celestial God Realm, after all.

"Anyone who dares attack me, Darren Chu, will face the wrath of my sword!" Darren said. His

expression was gloomy, but his tone was terrifyingly calm.

Whoosh!

Dozens of transparent swords and blades circled Darren, forming a barricade around him.

"What?

What did you say your name is?" the leading disciple asked.

Weber sneered, "You don't deserve to know my boss's name. Get away!"

The leading disciple's face was unreadable. He whispered a few words to the other disciples before

turning to face them again.

"Are you the Darren Chu who has been to the Archean mountain?" he asked.

"Yes, I am," Darren replied calmly.

"Yes! It's him! If he were not Darren Chu, who else could have such powerful blade and sword intents?"

The disciples looked at each other excitedly.

"I apologize for this misunderstanding, Mr. Chu. We have heard a great deal about you!"

The news that Darren had rescued the great masters of the human race in the Archean mountain had

been heard far and wide. These disciples had obviously heard his tale, too.

Darren was unaware of how popular he had gotten.

His expression softened by a little. It seemed that these people were not heartless, after all. If they

could proceed peacefully, it would make everything a whole lot better.

"Since that's the case, I don't need to go with you. I'm in a hurry to get to the capital city and see the

leader of your region," said Darren.

The ten disciples were dumbfounded. They hadn't expected that Darren was going to meet their leader.

Now, none of them dared stop him.

They did not doubt his words. Surely, he was telling them the truth.

"Sir, go ahead. I will choose the fastest Thunder Bird to send you there," the leading disciple said to

Darren.

"Thank you," Darren said, nodding.

"Sir, you law enforcers can't let go of this alien! You are being fooled!"

the people on the other Thunder Bird shouted.

"Yes, he is on the same side as the bloodsucker race. He wanted to kill us to take our blood just now."

"Yes, the leading bloodsucker called him master! He was here just now. This guy must have hidden the

bloodsucker somewhere."

Darren gritted his teeth. His killing intent was about to burst out. He had shown these goons mercy, yet

they dared make false accusations against him.

Fortunately, he had taken Carthy into his own small world and hidden him away. If he hadn't done that

and Carthy was still in plain sight, it would be difficult to plead his case.
