CHAPTER 1263 THE EVOLUTION OF THE SILVERY EYES
Boom!
Amidst the sea of god's power emerged one of the huge bodies. The mighty god's sense shrouded the
entire Primitive Wilderness.
It was searching for the creature that had touched time.
After probing the Primitive Wilderness, it began to search the other abysses one after another. When it
detected a small abyss, it quickly noticed a difference.
"Argh!"
The god's sense rushed through hundreds of millions of spaces and headed straight for the abyss.
After the Rule Soul Avatar got the three law silk threads, he began to meticulously mend his soul. This content © Nôv/elDr(a)m/a.Org.
Under the influence of time turbulent flows, he simply used the "future" law silk thread to accelerate
time, so that his soul injury could quickly heal.
After his soul's recovery, the Rule Soul Avatar was up and ready to leave the turbulent flows.
Boom!
Suddenly, the colorful halo turned malevolent.
The Rule Soul Avatar suddenly felt that an unprecedented powerful god's sense was coming towards
him.
He immediately deduced that it was an invincible figure who had noticed him tearing through the Time
Law.
With a quick shift of his hands, he concealed the three law silk threads deep into his soul.
He then traveled through the turbulence and hid in different time frames. Even the powerful god's
sense couldn't find his location and it eventually disappeared in the turmoil of time.
The Rule Soul Avatar escaped the attack of the god's sense, but he didn't dare stay a moment longer.
With his current ability, he figured out the time node he had come in through and swiftly escaped from
it.
Meanwhile, in the Reincarnation Palace's prison, Jenifer and Briggs had waited for more than ten days.
"I hope he can come back, even if it takes thousands of years," murmured Jenifer. At this point, she
had accepted death, since she hadn't thought "Darren" could come back in a short span of time. She
was beginning to think he was never coming back.
"Jenifer, time is a fickle thing. If he finds the right node, he could come out any minute now." Briggs was
staying optimistic.
"That's impossible," muttered Jenifer. She thought Briggs was saying this only to comfort her.
Buzz…
The black vortex on the wall suddenly began to vibrate.
A figure in white gradually emerged from the whirlpool and floated out, landing beside Jenifer.
"Ah."
She was dumbstruck by the sight.
"Darren!" Jenifer stood still as she stared at the Rule Soul Avatar with tear-filled eyes.
"I'm fine. Don't worry." The previous avatar would have never said something like that. Now he had
emotions.
"Yes, you are." Jenifer nodded her head and smiled as she tried to calm herself down, wiping tears
from her eyes. "Why have your eyes not recovered yet?"
She noticed that Darren's closed eyes were still wet with blood.
"I'll manage to fix it."
"Really? That's great!" Jenifer exclaimed, with a sunny smile on her face.
"Hello, I'm Briggs Zhou." Briggs walked over and spiritedly reached out his hand.
The Rule Soul Avatar was indifferent towards the boy, because while he had emotions for Jenifer, it
didn't necessarily mean he also had feelings for others.
"Ha-ha, Jenifer, your friend is so cold!" Briggs smiled bashfully.
"Briggs, pay no mind. He's really a cold person towards everyone." Jenifer wore an apologetic smile. It
was Briggs who helped "Darren" wake up from his coma; else, "Darren" and she would have died.
"Well, you should ask this man whether he can fight or not. It will decide our fates," said Briggs.
"Do you still have god's power? Is there any way to remove the law that is suppressing us?" Jenifer
asked.
The Rule Soul Avatar pulled out his Spirit Power and tried to probe the law that controlled the
Reincarnation Palace. In an instant, he broke the law silk threads that suppressed Jenifer's power.
Her power was finally restored.
"Great! Let's fight our way out." Jenifer was ecstatic.
"Hold on," the Rule Soul Avatar said via his spiritual sense. "There is someone powerful lurking here.
We cannot afford to expose ourselves. We have to catch an opportunity to quietly sneak away."
He detected that there were at least tens of thousands of low-level celestial gods, and there were even
a few upper-level celestial gods in the surrounding area.
"Okay, I'll go with your advice," replied Jenifer. She then concealed her realm and god's power.
"Darren, kindly remove the law suppressing Briggs. He saved us." It was a message from Jenifer.
The Rule Soul Avatar stopped to think for a moment, but in the end, he aided Briggs in dispelling the
suppression. At the same time, the Rule Soul Avatar told him via spiritual sense that if he dared to
expose his strength, he was dead meat.
Briggs also hid his true power, albeit nervously.
In this way, Briggs no longer had to fear the eating day. He didn't expect that his life could be saved
from a kind gesture, and this made him feel very lucky.
Time passed by in a flash. After more than ten days, the so-called eating day had finally arrived.
Hundreds of thousands of creatures were imprisoned within these walls.
On this day, the humans remained quiet and only wanted to protect themselves. But the other races
were different. They would run like beasts and slaughter and devour other bodies and souls without a
care in the world.
"Damn it! I don't have the Divine Essence Stone. If I can't recover my strength, I'll definitely get eaten
by them."
"God, help me please."
"I'm so scared! How could this happen to me? Why me? Ahhh!"
They feared death, and especially the risk of getting bitten and guzzled by the other creatures. This
doomed feeling left their souls frantic and restless.
Many of them were praying to God for mercy, hoping that they could safely survive the eating day.
"Darren, what are you doing?"
During the past few days, the Rule Soul Avatar had remained silent.
"Have a look." The Rule Soul Avatar spoke lightly before opening his closed eyes.
"Ah." Jenifer covered her mouth with her hand to stifle a squeal as her eyes shimmered with joy.
She saw that the Rule Soul Avatar's eyes were no longer two bloody holes, but a pair of pale gray,
normal eyes.
"Great! Your eyes are okay now!" She couldn't help but rush at him.
"Not only that. I feel that my Eyes of Law will evolve once I recover completely." The Rule Soul Avatar
started to communicate with her in a normal human's tone.
"Really? Can your silvery eyes actually evolve?"
"It's the result I anticipate. I don't know they're going to evolve just yet."
Upon hearing this, Briggs felt excited.
In his memory, silvery eyes were a miracle from God. Now silvery eyes could evolve? He was looking
forward to witnessing the evolved eyes.
"Argh!"
It was finally the eating moment, and all the races were in a crazed and bloodthirsty state.
They looked ferocious and gritted their teeth, as drool dribbled down their mouths like hungry beasts.
