CHAPTER 1501 BEING SUCKED IN
The Nether Dragon King was as big as a planet. It towered over everyone else, casting a shadow over
the earth he stood on.
Darren was like a speck of dust in comparison to the creature's sheer enormity.
"Sir, what should we do? It has seen us." The Devil King was out of his wits now, trembling all over.
"Be quiet!"
Darren said, signaling for him to hide. The Rule Soul Avatar also activated the Hiding Law to hide their
auras as much as he could.
"I believe it won't attack us," Darren said calmly.
It made no sense for such a huge creature to attack them. Why, they posed no threat whatsoever to it.
It wouldn't even be able to taste anything if it swallowed them all together.
"No, sir. You're wrong. Despite its gigantic body, the Nether Dragon King likes to take in tiny creatures
with god's power. It gets stronger by eating those tiny creatures!" the Devil King explained hurriedly.
The huge creature did not care much about the size of its prey. Its main focus was to get as much god's
power as it could.
Swoosh!
A strong wind blew over, and Darren and his companions were flipped over. They later realized that the
wind was the Nether Dragon King's breath.
"What? How powerful it is!" Darren exclaimed, incredulous at what the Nether Dragon King could do. It
could knock them off their feet with a single breath. How amazing was that?
"Don't worry. It can't move fast with its giant body. It won't be able to catch us easily," the Rule Soul
Avatar said.
Although the beast was mighty, it had one big weakness. Its size prevented it from moving quickly. It
would be too slow to give chase. Additionally, the giant creature was unable to see them clearly. They
were but specks of dust in his eyes. All it could do was take a deep breath to scoop them up and
swallow them whole.
However, they had attracted the Nether Dragon King's attention. It opened its huge mouth. The inside
appeared dark and endless, similar to a black hole.
Sniff!
A strong, tearing force pulled Darren and the others towards the creature's black hole of a mouth.
"Damn it!"
Resisting was not a problem for Darren and the Rule Soul Avatar. They were more concerned about
the baby in the Devil King's arms. If the strong wind took up the baby, it would surely lose its life.
Without any hesitation, Darren and the Rule Soul Avatar flew over and stood in front of the baby. They
used their bodies to shield it from the wind.
'These two guys don't seem to be as powerful as I thought they would be,' the Devil King thought to
himself. The Devil King watched as they struggled to go against the wind, and he began to doubt their
strength.
"If you are questioning our strength, I'd be happy to switch with you and let you try," Darren said
sharply. He had noticed the subtle change in the expression of the Devil King's face and immediately
guessed what was going on in his mind.
"No, I'm not. I'm good. I believe you can handle it," the Devil King said quickly.
"Humph, you'd better not be. The only reason we haven't killed this gigantic creature is because our
clan has rules. You should behave yourself."
"Yes, yes. I understand." The Devil King felt nervous that Darren could see right through him. He broke
out in a cold sweat and tried to calm himself down.
Sniff! The Nether Dragon King took in another deep breath!
Another strong tearing force came down, and the space began to shift because of it. A few bolts of
lightning crackled in the air.
Darren and the Rule Soul Avatar could no longer resist the pull of the force. They were thrown into the
air and were rushed toward the creature's mouth.
Darren and the Rule Soul Avatar had both been standing in front of the Devil King to protect the baby.
However, they all soon fell into the mouth of the giant beast. They were plunged into darkness.
They could feel large stones surrounding them, and the air was thick with dust.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Countless stones hit Darren and the others. Fortunately, Darren's body was strong enough and the
stones did not hurt him.
"Sir, please do something. I don't want my life to end like this!" the Devil King shouted. He was
completely frazzled.
"Shut up! You need to calm down. We'll make a way!" Darren shouted coldly.
The Devil King opened his mouth to speak, but he thought better of it.
Large, thick stones continued to pelt them. They had no choice but to weather the storm. It took a
while, but things finally settled down.
The Nether Dragon King's belly was enormous, and all sorts of strange things were floating around
therein.
Just beneath them was a sea of green mucus, the gastric juice of the Nether Dragon King.
If anyone fell into it, their skin would melt off their bones.
"Rule Soul Avatar, it will be difficult for us to get out of here," Darren said through his spiritual sense. He
didn't know how to feel.
The Nether Dragon King's body was harder than a rock. It was almost impossible to break through it
from the inside.
"Look, there are many creatures over there," the Rule Soul Avatar said. He pointed toward the
creature's stomach walls.
With the help of his Spirit Power, the Rule Soul Avatar found that there were many creatures hidden in
the folds of the Nether Dragon King's stomach.
"Sure enough, they all belong to strange races. Let's find a space to hide in for the time being,"
Darren replied. He flew down first.
When he got closer, Darren found that there were tens of thousands of strange creatures in one
stomach fold.
Obviously, they had all been sucked in by the Nether Dragon King and were hiding to prevent getting
melted by the green acid.
"Fuck off!"
Darren roared. The creatures automatically moved to create a space for Darren and his companions.
However, Darren noticed that the creatures were looking at them with hunger in their eyes.
"Be careful, my real body. They are likely to attack us," the Rule Soul Avatar cautioned.
Tens of thousands of creatures focused their spiritual sense on the three creatures who had just
arrived, their hearts greedy to obtain their power.
Whoosh!
Darren drew his sword and swept it over, killing dozens of creatures.
"Roar!"
The other creatures roared in surprise. Fear finally shone in their eyes.
Darren drew a circle around them with his sword.
"Anyone who dares cross this line will be killed."
The creatures did not understand Darren's words, but they could feel the hostility in his voice. They
could also feel his terrifying killing intent.
They decided to stay away from Darren and his companions.
"We can't stay here forever," Darren said, sighing.
They were safe for the time being, but they had to find a way out.
Clatter, clatter, clatter!
Below them, the green mucus began to surge. Waves of putrid, stinky, green liquid began to roll
upward.
The stench made Darren weak in the knees. He had to turn off his sense of smell.
"Watch out for the green mist, my real body," the Rule Soul Avatar said.
Whenever the waves would surge, a green mist would rise up. It was every bit as toxic as the stomach
acid.
The green mist instantly spread out. Darren and the others had nowhere to hide.
"Except for a little dirt, the green mist doesn't seem to have anything special about it," said Darren.
"No, the green mist can absorb our power. Look at all the other creatures. I'm sure they were much
stronger than us when they first came in!" the Rule Soul Avatar said, using his spiritual sense.
"So you mean if we stay here for a long time, we will also become weak?" Darren said.
"Yes. Once we are weaker, those creatures will definitely attack us," the Rule Soul Avatar said.
Things were not going well. It seemed that they had nothing else to do but lie waiting in the stomach of
the Nether Dragon King.
"Sir, didn't you say that you have a way of escaping?"
The Devil King still felt that something was wrong. If they were really that powerful, they would have
already escaped. They were wasting time by staying there. The threat on their lives heightened with
each passing moment.
The Devil King suspected that they were actually not as strong as they said they were. Belonging to .
"Do you want to give it a go?" Darren asked, raising his eyebrows.
"Yes, I want to try." The Devil King's attitude had changed. He was sure he would die if he waited there.
He decided to provoke the two men to make them reveal their true strength. It was better than to wait
around for their deaths!
