CHAPTER 1092 CONTROL OF THE BRONZE COFFIN
Darren's body was deteriorating fast. Lucky for him, the crystal in his brain had already begun to
absorb the colorful light.
After a quarter of an hour, the stone managed to absorb all of the light. Darren was reduced to a pile of
bloody bones sprawled onto the ground.
However, the fight was merely a virtual one. Darren would only actually die when his soul died. Any
physical injuries would not be deadly.
The virtual scene dissipated with the Plague Destroyer's death. Darren, back to his normal body,
landed on the ground.
"You only have one hour left," the guardian reminded Darren.
"Let's get to it, then. I hope I can kill the Shura ancestor."
The guardian made no reply and swiftly opened another illusion.
An aura of the Remote Age filled the air.
In the depths of the void stood the Shura ancestor. His cloak fluttered behind him as he stood
menacingly. He looked like a demon god.
Darren soared through the air and stopped right in front of the ancestor.
Standing eye to eye with his next opponent, Darren immediately sensed the sheer power of the Shura
ancestor. It unsettled him.
"How about we use one move to decide the battle?" proposed Darren.
"Human, do you have a death wish?" The Shura ancestor cast a cold glance at Darren.
"Cut the crap. Let us battle!"
Darren only had an hour left. His plan was to make an all-out attack in a single move on the Shura
ancestor. He couldn't afford to let the situation drag on for too long.
"Die,"
the Shura ancestor spat. He saw Darren as a mere insect.
A loud hum began to sound, gradually getting louder.
Around Darren's body, his blade and sword intents began to form into transparent blades and swords.
They swirled around him as they began to glow blood red.
In an instant, Darren used all his means.
"Kill!" At this point, Darren's aura had gone as cold as a god's aura. His eyes glinted with bloodlust.
He rushed at the ancestor at top speed.
The Shura ancestor stood motionless. Behind him was a sea of crimson blood. The power of the Shura
Force had never been this overwhelming.
An explosion rang out as Darren's power and the Shura ancestor's power collided.
A blinding light burst out and covered the entire area.
Several explosions of light followed.
The whole world began to collapse, and the land of the Remote Age was destroyed in a flash.
"You're as weak as an ant."
After a while, in the rubbles of the broken space, the Shura ancestor rose. He looked down at Darren
who was half kneeling on the ground, with disdain.
Darren's body was a bloodied mess.
"It's still not enough. His Shura Force is too strong."
Now that the battle was over, Darren realized the Shura ancestor was much more powerful than he had
imagined. This ancestor could even defeat the God of Sword, Todd, with his inhumane strength.
Another explosion rang out as a fierce Shura Force came crashing down at Darren.
He helplessly raised his head and watched as his doom descended upon him.
Suddenly, something clicked in Darren's mind.
At this very critical moment, he felt something break in his mind.
'The mysterious crystal space is broken!'
At this point, a gush of paste-like black force rushed through Darren's meridians.
Darren continued to struggle against the ancestor's Shura Force
when the sound of liquid suddenly came through as a wave of blood rose into the sky.
A beam of dark gold light then pierced the void!
The blood red light surrounding Darren then exploded with a bang.
His blood red figure rushed straight into the Shura ancestor.
The nasty sound of tearing flesh followed.
The Shura ancestor's body was left bloody and beaten.
He looked up at Darren with weak, but icy cold eyes filled with rage.
How could a mere human suddenly possess such an extremely powerful force and break through his
defenses?
The ancestor then felt a sharp pain in his chest as a palm dug down on his heart.
"Argh!"
the Shura ancestor roared in anguish as his hateful aura grew.
With his heart broken, he was on the verge of death. He uselessly clawed and screamed at Darren like
a wild beast. In a last ditch effort, the Shura ancestor tried to hit Darren with a palm attack.
This palm was full of the strongest power of the Shura ancestor, and even a god couldn't survive this
attack.
Darren retracted his palm from the Shura ancestor's body with a black aura condensing in it. He
casually stretched out his hand to meet the Shura ancestor's incoming palm.
The collision's shockwave violently shook the entire space as a cloud of dust gathered around the
battling warriors.
As the dust settled, the Shura ancestor began to slowly disintegrate, starting with his arm.
"No! This cannot be!"
The Shura ancestor sped up his death with his shock.
Amidst a violent storm, Darren stood silent as his mind returned to the previous mysterious space.
The transparent walls were gone. He could see a vast starry sky, and hear the faint sound of ocean
waves.
The gush of black force had descended from the depths of the starry sky earlier.
"So this is what the mysterious space looks like when it's been completely destroyed. I wonder what
that paste-like black force just now was. How come it was so powerful," Darren murmured to himself.
He looked up at the starry sky, but did not notice anything strange about it.
Darren then exited the battle space and returned to reality.
The mysterious space in his mind returned to its former state as he left the virtual space.
"Well, it's a pity that it wasn't real," sighed Darren. If the mysterious space were indeed broken, he
would gain an extremely powerful force.
"Never mind. There will always be a next time." The fact that the mysterious space held great power
when it was broken was good news for Darren. As long as he studied it carefully in the future, he could
surely make the mysterious space break again.
When Darren landed on the ground, the whole world switched scenes again.
"Congratulations! All the tests have been completed."
"Thank you, guardian." holds text © rights.
If it hadn't been for the exception in the rules the guardian made, Darren wouldn't have been able to
use all his skills. Passing the test would have been even more difficult for him.
"Hurry up. A new guardian is about to be born. If you're late, I'm worried he'll realize you broke the
rules. Your result will become invalid."
"Okay. Bye, then."
A black swirl appeared in front of Darren. He stepped into it with the old man, who had earlier passed
out from fear.
A sudden gust of wind came over as
a blood red figure dashed to the black vortex after Darren.
A loud thud and a crackle of electricity sounded as
numerous bolts of lightning forced the blood red figure back. Soon, the black vortex disappeared.
"Argh!"
he roared angrily, punching at the ground in pure rage.
When Darren appeared back in Hiram the Great's tomb, the phantom of Hiram the Great was no longer
there.
"He said if I passed, I would get an unexpected surprise. What kind of surprise would it be?"
Darren remembered that Hiram the Great had said something like that.
Then the whole underground cave suddenly trembled.
"Congratulations. You passed,"
a shadow of Hiram the Great said as it materialized.
"Yes, and not only did I pass, but I also found the World Essence." Darren nodded as he gestured
towards the old man proudly.
"It seems that you are the real guardian of the fifth crisis. In other words, the Reincarnation Master.
Listen up, this bronze coffin is something even outsiders sought after. When you inherit it, you must
make good use of it. As for what it can do for you, you'll have to explore it on your own," said Hiram the
Great.
Darren was stunned in amazement. He realized that the hidden surprise was most likely the control
over the bronze coffin.
