Chapter 1033 Fighting The Skeleton General

CHAPTER 1033 FIGHTING THE SKELETON GENERAL

After Darren killing the spiritual energy creatures, all the young talents felt like survivors from a disaster.

"Those things were terrible. We're lucky Darren was here, or we'd all be dead."

"Is attaining the Six-tribulation Heavenly Armor worth sacrificing so many lives?" An air of doubt hung

over them. Many considered quitting.

Many had fallen not long after they entered the Spiritual Nether Cave. There were still many dangers

ahead. They felt their chances of survival were slim.

"We've come all this way already. The lives they lost will go to waste if we don't get the armor. Let's

head into the Ghost Valley." After tidying himself up, Rudy was about to lead the crowd forward.

Darren flew over and motioned for them to stop.

"How about all of you wait here? Rudy, tell me the route by memory, and I'll try to get it on my own."

"No way, Darren! How could we let you take that risk alone?" a woman cried.

"Don't be silly. We're just a burden to Darren as we are right now. Don't you get it?"

The crowd nodded in approval. These so-called talents' skills paled in comparison to Darren. They

couldn't even keep themselves alive. They'd only be dead weight if they accompanied Darren.

"We'll remain vigilant and await your safe return, Darren."

They went into formation, just in case another spiritual energy creature would come out.

Darren rushed into the distant valley.

As he pushed through, the white fog that surrounded him got thicker and thicker. Eventually, it

transitioned into black fog.

"The Ghost Valley, huh? I wonder if it's full of ghosts?"

Darren then arrived in the valley.

The area was covered by a miasmic black fog. There was no sign of life to be seen.

"Phew!"

Darren scouted around to no avail, but he didn't let his guard down.

"Kill! Kill! Kill!" owns this.

Cold voices echoed in the valley, as if there were thousands of troops in his midst.

"Human! It's a human!"

A moment later, a skull made of black fog appeared in front of Darren.

Suddenly, more than a hundred thousand skeletons crawled up from the ground of the valley.

"Blood."

Sparks of black lightning glittered in their eyes. They longed for Darren's warm body.

Darren stood there, showing no sign of nervousness.

Despite the number of the skeletons, their aura was pretty weak. Darren stood in confidence that he

could easily defeat them all.

"Let me go, or I'll wipe you out." Darren's voice echoed through the valley, and some low-level black

skeletons shook and collapsed.

A black skeleton holding a damaged iron sword roared in a hoarse voice, "Arrogant human! I'm the

general here. I've been in charge of this valley for millions of years and have let none pass through

these parts alive. I wouldn't be so boisterous if I were you."

"Looks like I'm going to be the first, then! Go to hell!"

With a deafening boom, Darren's mighty Shura Force gushed out like a torrent.

"What? A power straight from hell!"

The skeleton general was shocked, but stood his ground.

"Kill!"

He lifted his rugged iron sword and gave a hard swing towards Darren.

"What?!"

Darren's heart skipped a beat as he saw the skeleton general rush right at him, ignoring the Shura

force completely.

Darren brandished his sword and blade in defense.

The sound of their swords clashing rang throughout the valley. During the fight, Darren found that his

powers had no effect against the skeleton. It was a fight solely of sword and blade.

The skeleton general was strong, and the iron sword in his hand slashed in an ordinary trajectory.

But the power of the iron sword was enough to kill a top-level half-step emperor.

Darren, with his sword and blade crossing, blocked the blow.

Another ring of blade meeting blade rang through.

The force of the blow threw Darren into the ground a hundred feet deep.

Before he could react, the broken sword had stabbed at his head.

"So much power!"

Darren's heart sank. With his sword and blade in hands, he swiftly dashed to the left side.

A moment later, he rushed out and attempted a sneak attack from behind.

The skeleton general's reflexes were at an ungodly speed as he evaded. It was as if he'd been

anticipating the attack for a long time.

A tearing noise could be heard as

the sword tore through the space.

Above the valley, a mysterious figure was watching the battle ensuing below.

"It seems that Darren turned out to be much weaker than his avatar. I don't think I need to fight him. He

can't even defeat the skeleton general."

Kingsley sneered. He felt like he overestimated Darren.

The reason why Darren had the strength of a half-step emperor was all thanks to his peerless powers.

The level of his cultivation base was obviously not high enough.

Darren had been reliant on his powers of the rule system. Now that he was faced with the skeleton

general—a being free from the restraints of the living world—his powers were of no use.

"The master said the skeleton general was a god in the Primitive Wilderness—which had killed infinite

creatures. Even if he is dead and is suppressed by millions of laws, his strength remains immensely

strong,"

Kingsley muttered, as he continued to analyze the battle. If the skeleton general had not been

suppressed by millions of laws, he would have been able to instantly kill a holy emperor.

A gust of wind passed as Kingsley flew away.

He grew bored of the fight as it lacked suspense. He decided to wait for the one hundred talents' blood

to be gathered so he could revive his master.

An hour later

Darren's body slumped on the ground, as broken and battered as the scenery of the valley.

"Human, you are far too weak." The skeleton's dry voice was full of disdain.

"Really?" Darren sneered. "You may have a strong body, but it isn't as strong as my dragon body!"

Darren hadn't used his dragon body as he wanted to gauge the skeleton's strength. Now that he had

properly observed it, it seemed his chance at defeating the skeleton was by turning into a dragon.

He ripped out a bellowing roar after transforming.

Darren's huge dragon body, tens of thousands of feet long, stood ominously over the skeleton general.

The skeleton general saw this and staggered a few steps back.

"A genuine dragon!"

he exclaimed in disbelief.

"Could you be from the cyan dragon race?"

The dragon race had a superior status in the Primitive Wilderness. The cyan dragon race reigned

supreme in their region. Even superior gods did not dare to provoke them.

"Humph!"

Darren ignored him and rushed behind the skeleton general.

"Stop!"

The skeleton general realized that he was no longer the target. It was his comrades.

Darren made a mighty swing with his dragon tail, and thousands of black skeletons vanished into thin

air.

A miserable howl ripped out.

The skeleton general went into a frenzy.

All his people had followed and believed in him ever since he was still in Primitive Wilderness. Even if

they had all turned into skeletons, he would never allow anyone to destroy his loyal followers.

"Damn it! Damn you!"

The skeleton general flew over and slashed at Darren. He swung haplessly in a mad rage.

Caught off guard, Darren gave up killing the low-level skeletons and turned to fight against the general.

With a brute force, Darren's dragon tail flung the skeleton general into the air. Blood seeped out from

his tail, as the sword had made deep cuts into it.

'If it goes on like this, I might still be killed.'

Darren began to worry. The skeleton general's physical body was sturdy, and the sword in his hand

was not to be underestimated. Its grade was much higher than Darren's sword and blade's.

If the skeleton general didn't have his sword, he'd find great difficulty in making fatal wounds on

Darren's dragon body.
