CHAPTER 1305 GREAT MASTERS GATHERING TOGETHER
Darren stared at the ball in a daze. It was as big as a head, and it looked like a walnut.
"What?! Isn't this the external protective shell that safeguarded me when I was born on the Lothlann
Continent? It looks so alike!"
Darren finally recognized it.
Back then, the sphere and its protective properties were responsible for Darren's safe landing on the
Lothlann Continent.
However, the existence of the Time Law in the ball led to a distortion in space and time. As a result,
Darren had been teleported to two spaces and times, hundreds of millions of years apart. In one space
and time, he was Xavier, while in the other, he was Darren.
Nevertheless, the color and texture on the sphere's surface were different from what Darren
remembered.
The man in the cyan robe observed it for a while before saying, "It should be that thing."
"Ha-ha. So, I'm right!" Lindsay was relieved. "Sir, but it doesn't seem to be dangerous."
The man in the cyan robe turned to glare at Lindsay. She was so intimidated that she pursed her lips
and remained silent.
"I didn't expect you to find it before me, bandit chief! Unfortunately, you lack the strength to take it."
A scornful voice broke the silence in the forest.
Just then, the space beside Darren and his companions fluctuated, and a young man with golden
patterns appeared in front of them.
The eyelids of the cyan-robed man twitched involuntarily at the sight of the young man.
"Ha-ha. It's the chief commander of the Tussle Region! Or would you prefer that we call you the Tussle
Fighting God? But you have followed me in such a stealthy way. Aren't you more bandit-like than me?"
the man in the cyan robe parried. Although he smiled at the newcomer, the cyan-robed man's words
carried hints of insult.
"Cut the crap. You are bound to return empty-handed as I'm going to take it." The chief commander of
the Tussle Region appeared calm and relaxed. It was evident that his strength was at least on par with
the middle-aged man in the cyan robe.
Boom!
The void shook once again, and another great master descended.
"Hey, you two. How can you dream of splitting the treasure and not considering me? Did you think you
could cheat me?" remarked a handsome gentleman with a white paper fan in his hand.
Hostility oozed from the three men as they faced one another. The auras they emitted were so
overwhelming that Darren and his companions couldn't breathe from the massive pressure. They
hurriedly retreated.
"Master Murphy, who are the two men that just arrived?" Darren asked in surprise.
Murphy's expression was grim as he whispered, "I didn't expect that so many great masters would
come here. That chief commander is the second strongest cultivator in the Tussle Holy House, only
second to the Tussle Region leader. He is known as the Tussle Fighting God.
Since he called the cyan-robed middle-aged man 'bandit chief', the latter must be Trevor Fang, the
chief of bandits. As far as I know, no one else in the Tussle Region has that name. As for the last
comer, he also has a significant background. He is the top-most reclusive cultivator in the Tussle
Region. It is said that he might be able to contend with the leader of the Tussle Region."
"Wow, they are all great masters." Lindsay's hand flew to her mouth as astonishment coursed through
her.
"Yeah. They are the top martial artists in the Tussle Region, and all of them are at the Superior God
Realm," Murphy continued.
"It seems that this object has a strong appeal," Darren muttered.
"I'm afraid that more people are attracted to it, not just these three masters. Since these three are here,
the others can't be far behind. We should hide and use our god's sense to watch," Murphy advised.
"Okay, let's move to a safer distance."
Darren and his companions had not expected that the news of the appearance of a suspected Archean
Beast would attract so many great masters.
They retreated to the peak of a mountain from where they could safely observe what was going on.
Over the next three days, two more masters of the Superior God Realm arrived. However, after
surrounding the sphere, none of the mighty warriors tried to grab it.
One more day later, another master of the Superior God Realm appeared. holds text © rights.
Unlike the others, this man landed on the peak where Darren and his companions were hiding. Not
only did his arrival surprise Darren, but it also pleased him!
"Oh, my God! I can't believe what I'm seeing. Is it really you?"
A broad smile lit up Darren's face.
"Don't fuss. Since so many strong warriors have come, why does my arrival shock you?" the newcomer
complained as he cast Darren a scornful glance.
"Darren, who is this?"
Murphy asked. He could not help but tremble with fear when he heard Darren speak with a master of
the Superior God Realm in such a casual and impolite manner.
"Ha-ha, Master Murphy, this is my 'younger brother.' Most people call him Lord Akbar," Darren
introduced as he patted Akbar on the shoulder.
Murphy was flabbergasted.
Immediately, he sensed the aura emitted from the newcomer's body and found that it matched the aura
left in the Dark Dragon Armor.
"Lord Akbar! It is nice to meet you." Murphy could barely control the excitement coursing through him.
He had always admired Akbar, but he had never dreamed of meeting him face-to-face one day.
"This junior is not bad. He is well-behaved and more sensible than you," Akbar remarked with a nod as
he glanced at Darren.
"I have no choice. I'm your 'elder brother.' Wouldn't it be odd if I were to behave so formally in front of
you?" Darren said with a teasing smile.
"Fuck off," Akbar yelled, feigning anger.
Darren simply grinned.
"Akbar, you were not honest with me the last time we spoke. Why did you say that you couldn't leave
the swamp, and yet, you are here? Well, I have seen through you," Darren sighed.
"You know nothing! This was not my decision," Akbar blurted. His nostrils flared as anger surged
through him.
"What do you mean? Did someone force you to come out?" Darren frowned as he asked.
"What else could it be? What bad luck! What did I do in my previous life to make me suffer so much in
my current life?" Akbar's expression turned bitter as he grumbled.
"You don't have to be like this. I guess you have been asked to grab the Archean Beast, right?" Darren
prompted.
"Alas! My head hurts just thinking about it." Judging by the appearance on Akbar's face, Darren's
estimation was correct.
"A task is a task. You are a great master of the Superior God Realm. What are you afraid of?" Darren
asked calmly.
"You are so ignorant! Look at those guys over there. Their strength is on par with mine!" So this was
why Akbar was annoyed.
"Well, be confident, and don't give up. At worst, you will have to fight them," Darren said with a faint
smile.
"Believe it or not, I'll kill you right now. Do you think it's that simple? I can't recklessly start a fight with
any of those great masters!" Akbar almost blew Darren away.
"Ahem." At this moment, Murphy cleared his throat. "Lord Akbar, I don't think you are inferior to any of
them. After all, you were once a peerless warrior who was comparable to Lord Starry Sword many
years ago."
Astonishment reflected on Akbar's face. He hadn't expected anyone to praise him. Finally, joy surged in
his heart.
Lord Starry Sword had risen to fame much earlier than he had. It had been the ambition of many
talented geniuses from several eras to surpass Lord Starry Sword. Akbar had been considered as a
promising cultivator with the potential to eclipse Lord Starry Sword. So, he had a strong sense of
superiority.
"You are such a charmer. But, my strength hasn't improved in many years, and I haven't fought anyone.
I'm doubtful of my abilities," Akbar confessed.
"I am confident that you will succeed this time. By the way, this is the armor that you lent to me, Lord
Akbar. With it, you will be invincible." Murphy released the armor excitedly.
"You are right. I appreciate the thought." Akbar smiled as he took the armor. He was pleased that
Murphy complimented him as it served to restore some of his self-confidence.
"Look, someone else is coming!"
A ray of purple light spread in the sky a split second before a man shrouded in purple mist appeared
beside the other great masters. It was none other than the owner of the Ninth Precipitous Mountain!
The appearance of so many great masters in one place overwhelmed all the nearby creatures. Not only
was the desolate ancient forest shrouded in a divine radiance, but their cumulative powerful auras also
terrified the beasts within a radius of hundreds of thousands of kilometers.
