CHAPTER 653 DIG UP A HOLY TOMB
"Everybody comes here now. I found something." After Hobson called out, Darren and the others flew
over without wasting another second.
"What's this? It looks very old," someone exclaimed as he went over and picked it up.
But as soon as the man touched the small bronze coffin, which was found earlier by Hobson, the space
surrounding them began to fluctuate, and it emitted a purple mist.
Everyone surrounding and observing the scene was all startled and immediately stepped back.
When the purple mist dissipated into nothingness a few moments later, the man, who touched the small
bronze coffin, also disappeared without a trace.
"Where is he? Is he dead?!" someone anxiously asked as his voice shook with fear.
"No, I guess he is not dead. And this should be the Holy Tomb," Darren merely said, rather calmly.
He supposed that it must be the same as the statue he had previously seen in the Raksa Sea. He
vividly recalled that when it was touched, it would instantly activate a unique domain.
"What should we do? Shall we go in?" someone tentatively asked, confused, and in panic.
"Of course!"
Hobson interjected. Undaunted, he took hold of the small bronze coffin without a word and also
disappeared as soon as the purple mist filled the coffin.
"Let's enter it together. I think those elders who came first must have already gone in. They deliberately
arranged some coal ash to bury here so that no one would discover this."
Darren pointed out. Then he touched the bronze coffin as well, and then the rest followed his lead.
Buzz.
A sudden sound of tremors reverberated around them, almost deafening them, and within a moment
later, the scene in front of them had changed.
The desolate land was dark, other than bleak and dismal. Above the mountains that looked craggy, the
bloody sun cast an eerie vibe at a glance.
There were dozens of mounds in various sizes on the ground. They immediately recognized that these
were the graves of the warriors of the Holy Realm.
Observing their location, Darren could sense a vague familiarity. And it reminded him of the scene in
the bronze coffin that he had entered before.
It looked boundless with spiritual herbs scattered all over the ground. The graves there seemed to be
endless. Darren also had spotted the weakest grave, which was the tomb of a Demon King.
"There are only graves here. Where are the treasures?"
All of them froze as panic engulfed them, and they didn't know what to do next as a trace of fears
clearly showed on their pale faces.
"I'm curious, where are the people who came in first?" someone blurted out.
They all turned their gaze at the new traces of footsteps on the ground. But what puzzled them most
was that not a single person could be seen. It seemed like they all vanished.
"Are they dead?" someone said in horror, feeling extremely agitated.
"Then there should have some blood even if they are dead. But since there is no trace of blood
anywhere, they should not be dead," someone reasoned out.
"Well, let's listen to Darren's opinion," another warrior suddenly insisted.
"Let's look for footprints. Those elders who came in first must know something," Darren suggested.
"But before that, can we dig up a holy tomb to see what's inside it? What if there are some treasures!"
Someone couldn't help asking, rather earnestly.
"Yes, I agree with him. Let's dig up one tomb." The others who were also interested joined in unison.
"Since these holy warriors had been buried here, I don't think it's a good idea if we will dig a tomb here.
It's not a good way to show our respect," Darren asserted, his demeanor showed a slight hesitation.
"Hey, they were dead! We don't know which dynasty they were from. Why do we still care so much?
Just dig one," Hobson insisted loudly.
"Whatever you do. I won't be responsible if you are in danger," Darren countered.
Upon hearing this, one of them sprinted towards the grave and ferociously slashed at a tomb with his C0pyright © 2024 Nôv)(elDrama.Org.
blade.
In a wink, a black crack that extended to the interior of the tomb appeared in a flash. From within, a red
light was faintly exuding into the fissures created by the slash.
Sizz!
Moments later, there was a little red unknown liquid squirting from the tiny crevices.
With a sudden pressure, the tiny gaps in the tomb grew wide, accompanied by the bursting out of the
unknown red liquid.
"That's blood! Why is there still blood?" The man who broke the grave hastened to step back. His heart
pounded in his chest rapidly as he anxiously waited for the next thing bound to happen. He had no idea
what, but he felt terrified.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The world suddenly trembled, making the crack in the tomb continued to become wider, like a black
abyss.
While at the same time, the red liquid, which seemed to be blood spurted out like a sea bursting of
immense anger.
Darren and the others instinctively flew towards the sky at once for their safety. They didn't dare to
touch the blood.
"Oh no! Did I make trouble?"
that man nervously asked, looking aghast as he stared blankly down the sky. The raging blood had
already converged into a large lake, drowning everything in its path.
"There must have been something wrong. Let's hurry up and fly away." All of them looked deathly pale.
They turned around and were about to leave when a hand creepily stretched out from the surging blood
lake.
Soon after, a head and body protruded.
"Oh my God! What's that?"
They looked at the blood figure in unison and hastily flew up again.
Then, in a terrifying silence, one body after another floated on the blood lake.
They all looked strange, as if they were made up of all sorts of creatures.
After a while, the bodies in the blood sea stirred up and started to move, seemingly like they had woken
up from a deep slumber. They crawled in the blood lake and finally formed a circle while kneeling down
toward the center.
After their formation, these bodies simultaneously bowed at the center of the blood lake. It was as if
they were conducting a ritual that created a sudden deadly whirlpool with a fierce wind that was almost
pulling them down.
"Oh my God! Something strong is coming out!"
Fear engulfed them. They all felt that the floating bodies were so powerful at the extreme. If there was
one more body floating in the whirlpool, how terrible would it be?
"We can escape that way now," Darren instructed. He remembered the route of the footsteps when he
came in earlier.
Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!
Hearing Darren's words, they all rushed to that direction without an ounce of hesitation.
Buzz!
Long before they could dash towards the direction pointed by Darren, a figure flashed in front of them.
They could distinctly hear the voice, but they couldn't see it.
All they could hear now were the continuous sounds of buzz. Darren and the others had seen nothing
but blood-red in front of them.
They noticed that the countless blood-red figures who formed a wall and completely blocked their way.
"It is so fast!"
They were shocked at the sight of floating bodies from the blood lake, hovering around to form a wall.
Their faces turned pale as they continued to observe those unsightly floating bodies.
They wanted to retreat immediately, but they couldn't. Many bloody figures also blocked their way from
behind.
So a moment later, they seemed to be placed in a blood-red room, as these figures surrounded them. It
seemed like there was no way to escape.
"Oh, my God! It's all my fault. I shouldn't have been so curious." The man who opened the grave
helplessly blamed himself. He felt that he was solely responsible for this mess.
"I'll rush over alone. If I could split a crack, you'd better run away as soon as possible." The man
intended to attack first and was ready to die.
"Don't be silly. They move at such a speed. Escape is impossible as they can easily surround us in just
a few seconds," one of them said.
"Then what should we do?" Everyone turned and looked at Darren expectantly.
"What else can we do? Kill now! Make a road to escape!" Darren roared and dashed towards the
blood-red wall first.
The crazy blade and sword intents were forming in this zone. Tens of thousands of blade and sword
illusions were hitting the blood wall.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The reverberating sound of swords was deafening, and the rest of them also dispatched the Fringe
Holy Will to help support Darren.
Everything was covered by gorgeous light, while some of which even became bloody.
"Watch out!"
Inside the blood wall, there were various skills to block several people's attacks consistently.
Just then, several blood red vines came to view by slowly crawling behind Hobson and directly pierced
towards his heart.
Darren noticed this, and he immediately jumped over and cut the vines with his sword.
When he looked up through the vines, Darren saw a monster with a rat's head and a tree's body in the
middle of the blood wall. It was attacking them viciously.
"Kill!" Darren unleashed a dark gold internal force and beat the monster to pieces.
But in the blink of an eye, the broken part was immediately fixed by other bloody bodies, and it was still
airtight as if it was never broken.
"Roar!"
Darren turned into a dragon at once after he killed a few shadows for so long.
The dragon blood aura in Darren's body significantly increased after he assimilated those strange
dragons before. He also had absorbed a large amount of spiritual energy and transformed it into a
demonic internal force.
His fighting power had been greatly improved after he transformed into a dragon.
The olive-black dragon's fifty-foot-long body swam in the air, emanating nothing but coldness!
