CHAPTER 1201 ESTABLISHING A FORCE
"Tim Wang, don't flatter yourself." With a scornful smile, Darren continued, "I'm sparing your life
because I want you to live to see the future, and witness the immense power of the Defiant Master that
you looked down upon." owns this.
"Don't play dumb with me. If you let me go today, I'll just exact my vengeance on you."
"You?" Darren sneered. "Do you really think you can defeat me? I admit that I may not be your match
right now, but in just a few days, I'll kill you with my own strength. It'll be as easy as kicking a dog dead.
You're trash in my eyes. Get the hell out of here!"
These words struck a painful chord in Tim's heart.
Putting aside the identity of Defiant Master, this young man's potential was truly incredible.
It was unacceptable for him that a warrior at the low-level of the Domain God Realm could even pose
as a threat against him.
"Let's wait and see, then." With a heavy heart, Tim staggered away; blood gushing out from his wound.
"My Lord, do you need me to kill him?" Kerr asked out of grave concern.
"No, let him go." Seeing Tim had some guts, Darren decided against killing him right away.
"Listen, all of you! Make an oath to become believers of the Conflicting Chief God, or die!" Darren
loudly announced to Tim's subordinates—who were too scared to run away.
They were not as tough as Tim, so they quickly began to make oaths when they heard Darren's
threatening announcement.
There were about a thousand gangsters, and more than twenty of them were at the Domain God
Realm. Darren attained much more Power of Belief from them than ever before.
What was more, Darren would obtain more of the Power of Belief gradually as time passed by. As long
as these believers stayed alive, Darren could obtain constant Power of Belief from them every day—
which would also strengthen his black god's power.
Even though most of their levels were really low, the Power of Belief that Darren obtained would be
great as long as he maintained a large number of believers.
Darren and his companions decided to huddle in the fortress since they had taken care of the
gangsters.
"Darren, what's your next move?" Lindsay asked after resting for a moment.
"I've made up my mind. I'm going to build up my own force and expand it. This place is where I start,"
said Darren.
"Darren, what's the point of building up your own forces? It's of no use to you." Finley couldn't grasp
what Darren really wanted to do. Building up a force would only drag down their cultivating speed.
"The Power of Belief is very important to me. It's much too slow for me to gain believers by myself. I
have to have my own great force, so they will help me to conquer and gain more believers. In this way,
my Power of Belief will grow faster and faster."
Darren knew that if his black god's power grew stronger, it could be even better than that of his dark
gold god's power. He knew he had to keep cultivating his black god's power.
Once he had a truly powerful force under his wing, bringing in believers would be a walk in the park.
"You've got a point there," replied Finley, nodding in agreement.
"Sir, here is the information we've gathered on the distribution of forces in the black ancient forest," one
of the gangsters said as he handed a scroll to Darren.
Darren looked over the paper and read through it carefully.
"I can't believe that there are eighteen forces in this forest." From Darren's analysis, he could see that
four of them were powerful—much stronger than that of Tim's force.
There were warriors at the middle-level of the Star God Realm within those four forces.
"Sir, here is another document about the division of power within the Tussle Region. Would you like to
take a look?" This gangster, with a mischievous face, was very good at dealing with reconnaissance
errands since he was under Tim's leadership.
"Bring it to me."
Darren began to read the new scroll.
The territory of the Tussle Region was a vast one. It covered a billion kilometers in distance.
There were a total of four strongest forces in the region, all of which were in the hands of warriors at
the Superior God Realm. Naturally, every region had their own absolute force. In the Tussle Region, it
was the Tussle Holy House—the founders of the entire Tussle Region itself.
Theoretically speaking, the other four super forces had to be under the jurisdiction of the Tussle Holy
House.
In addition to the four great forces, there were countless sects in the territory of the Tussle Region. A
number of them wielded strength that was just slightly inferior to the four great forces.
The forest they were currently in was only the tip of the iceberg.
"Sir, since our force has just been established, shall we give it a name?" the shrewd gangster
suggested with a twisted smile. He gave off the aura of someone who could not be trusted.
"Fuck off!" Finley shouted. He then raised his palm and swatted the gangster away with a flick of his
wrist. The presence of a cunning rat was less than enjoyable to him.
"Darren, he may be annoying but he had a point. We should give our force a name," said Finley.
"Well, how about we name it 'Conflict'?" Darren casually dropped.
"Come on, Darren! Have some shame. That's not cool enough. Can't you put some thought into it?
How about 'Bloody Army' for a name?" Finley suggested.
He was actually suggesting this name because the Tussle Region was a place for slaughter. If their
force had a very cool and intimidating name, then they'd seem more powerful.
"Whatever." Darren rolled his eyes and sighed—it didn't seem that important at the moment.
"Haha." Finley smiled, turned to the entrance of the cave and shouted, "Listen carefully! From today
onward, we, the Bloody Army are officially established. Get someone to make a flag for us, and inform
all the forces within the forest to gather here. Otherwise, we will destroy territories."
"Yes, sir!" the men outside swiftly responded and got right to business.
The gangsters' talent of execution was obvious by how quickly they got their orders done. Within a day,
they had already sent the flags to each force in the forest.
Of course, most of those who sent the flags didn't make it back alive. They were killed by other angry
gangsters after sending the message.
'This way, the other forces will probably come to us very soon, ' Darren gazed into the distance as he
thought to himself.
"Darren, there are warriors at the middle-level of the Star God Realm in the forest. You're going to get
yourself in big trouble if you keep acting so brash," Lindsay reminded sternly.
"Don't worry about it. I'll just seclude myself for a few days, and then you'll understand."
In fact, Darren wasn't worried in the slightest, because he felt he was about to reach the middle-level of
the Domain God Realm.
In the Immortal Land
The Immortal Lord had just issued the order to hunt down the Rule Soul Avatar. The four shadow
guards were already scouring the land for him. They had finished searching the entire north by now, to
no avail.
"It's impossible! How could he possibly escape our grasp? Could he be dead or something?"
The four guards were all very powerful. Normally, they could easily find something out even if the
Immortal Lord himself couldn't.
However, the Rule Soul Avatar seemed to have disappeared into thin air.
"He must be dead."
"Yes, as far as I know, he mastered the Resurrection Force. He must have utilized this force and is
currently lingering between life and death to escape us."
"You're right. We have to be more careful. Keep your eyes peeled for an aura of resurrection; it'll
definitely be him."
Since the four shadow guards had figured this fact out, they began to change up their original strategy
in their search for the Rule Soul Avatar.
Three days later, the four shadow guards arrived at a valley.
"What?"
They suddenly felt a strange presence simultaneously.
"Let's see how you'll manage to escape this time!" they cackled.
The four shadow guards all flew straight towards the bottom of the valley.
