CHAPTER 737 READY TO GO
Seeing that both Darren and Elsa paled with surprised expressions on their faces, Lord Donald said
with a faint smile, "Don't be scared by his title. In fact, he is only in the Holy Realm. As to how far he
has reached, that shall be confirmed further."
"Oh, I see. I assumed before that there was a holy emperor in the demonic monster race." Darren
nodded, eased himself, and let out a sigh.
"My Lord, since there is such a powerful person in the demonic monster race and the race is known to
have deep hostility towards us human race, why do they still stay in a remote place without attacking
the human cities?" asked Elsa. The thought came through her as they were worried about the threat
brought about by the demonic monster race.
Startled by such imploring from Elsa, Lord Donald meditated for a moment and replied, "Lothlann
Continent is not that simple as what you think. Not one in the human race nor the demonic monster
race could destroy the races that have been passed down since ancient times. Perhaps, even the
legendary Barnes the Holy wouldn't be able to make it."
Lord Donald used the example of Barnes the Holy for two reasons. One was that his combat power
was at the holy emperor level, and the other was that the time of his coming, which was quite close to Belongs © to .
now.
However, as Lord Donald perceived it, even Barnes the Holy, the most potent cultivator of an era,
couldn't destroy a long-existing race, let alone the so called Roc Demon Emperor.
"All in all, whether the demonic monster or the human race it might be, both races are diverse and
dynamic in their own ways. Those without any profound background and rich history would never have
survived to this day because they would have long been wiped out in the flood of history." A serious
look was drawn upon Lord Donald's face as he stressed out those true and inevitable facts.
Hearing those remarks, Darren thought that Lord Donald sounded reasonable. In this world where
natural selection was ensured, those weak races wouldn't have existed for millions of years—they
should have been eliminated.
"The Roc Demon Emperor is talented, just like Mathew and Hanson. Since he had never been through
any disasters, he must be more powerful than the two masters now," Darren retorted out of his
curiosity.
"That's for sure. Although the two Xiaos are gifted, unlike the Roc Demon Emperor, they have suffered
too much. That would result in their strength being naturally much inferior. On the contrary, the demon
emperor must have been improving his strength smoothly all these years. But as long as the two Xiaos
are alive, it's only a matter of time for them to cultivate and catch up with the Roc Demon Emperor,"
responded Lord Donald momentarily.
"How is that possible? The way I see it, although Mr. Mathew and Hanson Xiao are gifted, the demon
emperor has practiced for thousands of years more than they have. How can the two seniors catch up
with the demonic monster easily?" Elsa asked in confusion. All this time, Elsa had that keen
observation and had looked at things differently.
"Haha, everyone has his bottleneck in the martial arts world. Each warrior is set with the limit that he
can reach so his strength is not growing all the time. After all, if the later ones have enough talent, isn't
it normal for them to catch up?" Lord Donald asked.
"How old is Darren? He's only in his thirties, right? But he has outnumbered hundreds of millions of the
strong warriors and creatures alike," continued Lord Donald with a smile.
"Ah, I'm sorry. How stupid I am." With that explicit elucidation from Lord Donald, Elsa understood
everything, sticking out her tongue at Darren.
"Okay, I guess we are done with all these questions. You will get to know these things gradually in the
future. Now let's consider how to help this young man." With that suggestion, Lord Donald looked at
Nate, who was silent during the talk.
"Yes, that would be a good idea." As he shifted his gaze towards Nate's direction too, Darren nodded
and continued, "Nate wants to go back to his hometown to bury his clansmen. He was hoping that you
can help him, My Lord."
"That's for sure, but it takes time to find out the continent where he lives. So you need to wait patiently,"
retorted Lord Donald with a soothingly calm voice.
"Young man, come here and tell us something about your hometown so that we can help you as much
as we can." With the kind gesture of his hand, Lord Donald called out to Nate and motioned him to
come closer.
"Yes, My Lord." Seeing how Darren showed great respect for Lord Donald, Nate, similarly addressed
him respectfully.
With a lengthy narration, Nate described his hometown in detail. After this, Lord Donald ordered his
men to search for the place in the space turbulent flows.
"Hey, Darren, there's something precious you need in Nate's hometown," having arranged everything,
Lord Donald suddenly remarked.
"The treasure I need?" Darren asked confusedly.
In the same manner, Nate also kept up his spirits. He knew that there were lots of treasures in his
homeland, yet the one Lord Donald was referring to tickle his curiosity. If indeed, there was a treasure
that Darren needed in his hometown, he thought, he would do whatever he could to give it to Darren to
repay his kindness.
"You heard it right. You are cultivating both sword and blade skills at the same time, and you are about
to enter the Holy Realm. The Primitive Ore from his hometown would be very helpful to you." Given his
experience and expertise, Lord Donald was so knowledgeable that he had extensive knowledge of
much Conflicting Cultivation.
"Lord Donald, what Darren needs is not an ordinary Primitive Stone, but the stones that must contain
the Heavenly Repression Rule," Elsa butted in.
"Haha, you young lady. There's something you don't know. The Primitive Ore is different from the
simple Primitive Stone. Briefly speaking, the Primitive Ore originated from the most primitive mineral
vein, which contains the features of all the already known Primitive Stones, and they could be said to
be the most precious treasure.
In other words, if you get the Primitive Ore, you will own the Primitive Stones of the Heavenly
Repression Rules. Do you get my point?" Lord Donald explained, as careful as he could, making sure
that Elsa would be cleared out of her confusion.
"Oh, is that so? Now, I know." Hearing Lord Donald's words, Elsa was overjoyed.
"Darren, if what Lord Donald said was true, I'm willing to give you all the Primitive Ores from my
hometown, please accept my offer to help."
To Darren's surprise, before he was able to ask Nate for it, Nate answered earnestly, kneeling on one
knee.
"Stand up, Nate. You don't have to always kneel to me!" A bit annoyed by Nate's show of reverence
towards him, Darren ordered him to stand and then asked, "Are the Primitive Ores quite useful for
you?"
"Before those devilish humans' invasion, we had used those ores only for ornaments, and they mean
nothing special to us. Darren, please, I beg you to take these ores if they could help you," Nate
requested again. This time, however, it sounded more like he was begging.
"Alright. I'll decide after I get my hands in one of the ores." Looking at Nate, Darren nodded.
As the sun peeked through the horizons, and the fresh air breathed a new hope to Darren, he woke up
with a revitalized soul eager to improve himself to a much better version. Having rested for three days
in the Sacred Palace, they finally got the news from the searching group.
"My Lord, a continent similar to what this man has described has been found. It's about three thousand
distorted kilometers away from us," a disciple of the Sacred Palace came to report.
Hearing the report from the disciple, Lord Donald frowned.
"Three thousand distorted kilometers? That's too far away. It would be a challenge to send the three of
you there."
"Then, what should we do? Isn't it only 3000 kilometers? Why can't we be transmitted there?" Elsa
hazarded a guess. She thought that the distance was quite workable and attainable for the three of
them to traverse.
"Young lady, let me tell you that distorted kilometer is different from a normal kilometer. Distorted
kilometers refer to the distance in the space turbulent flows. Worst is, the limit of transmitting the
purple-crystal ship is 3000 distorted kilometers, and the ship can only accommodate no more than two
people. Otherwise, it'll be in danger of collapse," cleared out Lord Donald.
"If so, then why could those brutal Cross Expeditionary Force get to Nate's hometown in large
numbers?" Elsa blurted out another confusing question.
"They had conquered a small continent full of supreme purple crystals a few years ago. The purple
crystals they obtained far exceed those of the Sacred Palace in both quality and quantity. With that,
they created ten super large purple-crystal ships. The ships could transmit three thousand people at
one time to and can travel up to nine thousand distorted kilometers away," Lord Donald said helplessly,
his shoulders slumped as he narrated the fact.
"Then how did you get here, Nate? Did they take you here using that purple crystal ship?" Elsa was still
unwilling to give up because she knew that if the ship could only hold two people, Darren would
definitely let her stay.
"Yes. Those devils thought I was strong and wanted to take me back to be their permanent slave. After
arriving here, I managed to kill two guards and escaped. Then I met you before I was captured," Nate
nodded, which in turn disheartened Elsa. Nate's confirmation would only mean one thing, she would be
left, and Darren would go with Nate.
"My Lord, please find another purple-crystal ship," Elsa pouted and pleaded Lord Donald at once. Her
determination to go with Darren caused her to be persistent.
"Pretty girl, we have sent all the hundred purple-crystal ships out, and only the smallest one is left.
There's no other option." Relaying the sad news to Elsa, Lord Donald shook his head.
"Elsa, would you like to stay at the Sacred Palace and wait for me? I will come back right after I send
Nate back, okay?" Darren consoled her.
"No! I want to go there!" Elsa shouted angrily, showing her child-like behavior.
"My Lord, if Miss Elsa insists on going, there is still a way," interrupted the disciple who was responsible
for exploring the Aborigines World.
