CHAPTER 1146 LEAVING THE ANCESTRAL LAND
Outside the palace, Darren was completely baffled about everything that was happening. At the same
time, he was still full of rage.
"In three days, you should have left this place."
A man in silver armor walked up to Darren with a spear.
"I don't need three days," Darren responded coldly. By then, the only thing he could think about was
saying goodbye to his friends.
"Darren, what should we do?" Elsa asked with concern.
"They are too strong for us. It's wiser to back down for the moment. I will come back for my revenge
one day. Let's go, Elsa." Darren held Elsa's hand and was about to fly out of the square.
"You can go, but she can't."
"Fuck off!" Darren roared. Finley and the others were also furious and were at the edge of their seats.
The man in armor raised his spear that flashed a blinding golden light. In an instant, a group of
powerful armored guards surrounded Darren and the others.
"Let them go."
At that moment of tension, a cold and rich voice descended from the sky.
"Ancestor..." Everyone was shocked to hear the fervent voice. The ancestor had remained silent for
thousands of years. Thus, everyone couldn't help but gasp that he now spoke for a newcomer.
All the armored guards retreated in an instant.
"Young man from the Chu Clan, you can bring your wife with you. However, you can't take anybody
else. They will follow you to their deaths, and you will cause them great harm. Do you understand?"
The voice echoed again.
Darren was silent, but he thought, 'Why does this powerful man keep calling me "young man from the
Chu Clan"?'
"Darren, don't leave us here. Please let us come with you. Even if it's dangerous, it's better than being
enslaved and bullied here," Finley said.
"Please, master," the Water Kylin pleaded.
"Darren, take me with you." Aaron also looked at Darren eagerly. Even the mad old man gave a
gesture as if he wanted to follow Darren to the ends of the world.
"I think you guys better stay put." A moment later, Darren shook his head.
He thought about it for a while. The outside world must be more treacherous than he thought. There
were too many powerful races, so he did not want his peers to run the risk of encountering their deaths.
"Young man from the Chu Clan, it is best that your companions remain here. If you survive outside, you
are welcome to meet them in ten years."
"Okay, then. I will only take my wife away. Thank you very much," Darren answered and bowed to the
ancestor with his hands clasped.
"Darren…" Finley hesitated to call him.
"There's nothing left to say. Scott has been caught and is being punished by them. You guys should
stay here and cultivate hard. If necessary, please take care of him. As for me, don't worry. I will go and
find Lord Starry Sword," Darren told the others through his spiritual sense.
"Well, all right."
Since it was Darren's final decision, everyone naturally respected his call.
"Take care of yourself, Darren."
"Please be careful, master."
"Godspeed, Darren!"
They all saluted to Darren. Darren nodded and led Elsa out of the square.
On the gloomy ground, a gust of cold wind with a mix of dead leaves blew. Darren and Elsa walked
slowly. They looked like two feeble sticks in the middle of a sandstorm.
"I didn't expect that the Universe Laws out of the palace are so different."
Darren and Elsa continued to make their way amidst the strong winds. Darren was inundated with the
same feeling just as he entered the Godly City for the first time, but it was even more uncomfortable
now.
"Darren, let's find a place to take shelter for a while. It's really hard to walk in this whistling wind." Elsa
could not stand the bitter cold wind any longer. She felt as if sharp knives were constantly stabbing her
body.
Darren wrapped his arms around Elsa in a hurry, and leaned his body against most of the wind.
"All right. Let's look for shelter once we arrive at the mountain in front of us."
They had just walked out of the boundary of the Ancestral Land. They had no idea where to look for
Lord Starry Sword, and hoped that they could ask someone about his whereabouts.
However, Darren was pessimistic that they would find someone out there that could help them.
"My current combat power can break through the defense of the middle-level Primary God Realm, but
my cultivation base is still far from enough." Only then did Darren understand why the old man
despised the two dead middle-level Primary God Realm warriors. The environment of the Primitive
Wilderness was much harsher than he had imagined.
"Are you at the middle-level Primary God Realm? Or at the upper-level?"
A girl's gentle voice suddenly echoed out of nowhere.
Darren hurried to protect Elsa. When he turned his head, he saw a braided little girl who he estimated
was about twelve years old. She looked at them with intense curiosity.
"Well, say something," she asked Darren and Elsa.
"Little girl, why do you ask such questions?" Darren answered indifferently.
"It's very important, okay? It tells you whether you could live or die." The girl grinned menacingly, which
revealed her two canine teeth. However, they were not cute at all. Instead, they looked a bit fierce.
"Sorry, but we have to go now." Elsa dragged Darren and prepared to leave.
"Ha-ha. You are so beautiful, young lady," the girl said in a rascal tone.
Darren's face darkened. When he was about to lose his temper, Elsa took his hand and walked
forward. "Darren, don't let a little girl get to you. Let's go."
The two walked forward hurriedly.
Whoosh!
A dark shadow suddenly blocked their way.
Both of them were taken aback. Such an astonishing speed in the Primitive Wilderness was enough to
prove a person's great strength. Moreover, the mysterious figure must be at least at the middle-level
Primary God Realm.
When the figure revealed itself, they were surprised to see that it was the little girl.
"What the hell do you want from us?" Darren shouted coldly.
"Humph!" The girl looked at Darren defiantly and continued, "If you are at the upper-level Primary God
Realm, you can get out of here with your woman. If you are at the middle-level, you still have a chance
to escape. However, if you are at the low-level Primary God Realm, you'd better leave your God
Character, and kill yourself."
The little girl walked two steps closer and continued, "In fact, I can tell at first sight that you are
garbage. You are only at the low-level Primary God Realm, aren't you? I really don't know what you
have done in the past ten years in the Ancestral Land. A filthy rat like you doesn't deserve to live in the
Primitive Wilderness, and I'm a professional rat-catcher. Now, it's up to you to make the decision. Do
you want to hand me your God Character by yourself, or do you want me to dig it out of your head with
my own hands?"
"You're ballsy. Aren't you afraid that I'm only hiding my level? If I were at the upper-level, shouldn't you
be terrified of death?" Darren retorted.
"Bah. So what? If you are at the upper-level and you decide to kill me, my brother, my sister, and my
uncle would avenge me! Humph!" the little girl said disdainfully.
"All right then." Darren gave a nod and was ready to take the initiative.
He had secretly mobilized the god level blade and sword intents and the black god's power in
preparation.
Whoosh!
In an instant, the blade and sword intents shot out.
The little girl was quick to react. Even though Darren launched a sneak attack, she immediately sensed
the imminent danger.
"How dare you hit me first? I will not only take your God Character, but I will also kill you!" The girl took
out a rusty iron ring from her waist, which contained waves of the god's power.
Darren probed the girl carefully and found out that she was indeed at the middle-level Primary God owns this.
Realm!
Boom!
The blade and sword intents were completely shattered by the girl's iron ring.
"Ha-ha, you are such a weakling."
The girl smiled complacently. However, after several seconds, her smile froze on her face. She felt a
terrible force had suddenly hit her.
"Ah!" the little girl screamed in pain. Immediately, the devastating force pierced her defense and rushed
straight to her heart.
The girl's face turned deathly pale. She had never thought that such a low-level Primary God Realm
warrior would be able to break her defenses!
"Help! Please!" the little girl cried.
