One Who Brings Miracles(Part 1)

Mysteries forever existing, many flowing along in its endlessness. A spirit seeking freedom, once shackling to the land. Wings yearning for the sky, her heart in bondage. No longer willing in remaining in silence, shouting her soul. Rising to her challenges, becoming the greatest of all demons. Reaching after her deepest desire, many more within her. Grasping them, carving her own future. Refusing fate, crushing it beneath her feet. An inspiration to countless, her purely extending emotions, damning innumerable. Now living in bliss, finding herself on another adventure. That blowing breeze, moving blades of grass.

Trees in the distance, birds soaring high. A parallel world, a reality different from their own. Standing in that field, her long flowing blonde hair, tying at the base with a crimson ribbon. A white coat on her, her black top, short black jeans above her knees. Those velvet eyes of hers, reflecting a curse. Glancing behind, her warm smile on her partner. That once supreme deity, his long blue pants, a white vest on him, a coat hanging from his shoulders. His eyes above, enjoying these simple feelings. Another with them, that iguana, their emerald color underneath the sun.

"Val, this better not be like our other vacations. Every last one of them, there has been some insanity that drags me into it." Facing him, faintly smiling.

"Oh come on, our bad luck has to run out at some time. Plus, if it does happen again, just leave it to me." Grinning, waving his hands at her.

Laughing a bit, this pleasant individual. Innocence coming into her life, shining a new way forward. Two meeting underneath a tree, those of differing worlds. A demon and deity, their bond growing over the passing time. Venturing far, experiencing different cultures. Conflict tearing them apart, years in torment. Finally together once again, leading their own path. Shaping their way, not allowing for their separation. Agreeing to his offer, her vision shifting to the animal. That one walking around, messing with a digital screen. Clicking a button, a status menu popping up. Tilting his head, reading the message.

"This is certainly a unique world." That young woman positioning her arms in a thinking posture.

"I wonder what mine say!" Valor's hands to his chest, excitingly bouncing.

Her eyes to him, nodding in disbelief. A pleasant soul, never growing up. Remaining this way, adjusting to the developing world. Concerning with him at times, protecting him from manipulative people. Two defending one another, rising to their challenges. Tackling the largest of foes, this throughout their years. One once walking in the deepest of abyss, another following her. Screaming out, diving after her. Constantly failing, never giving up. Eventually reaching his companion, setting a new path towards tomorrow. That deity clicking a button, his status showing in front of them.

"Luck stat...terribly unfortunate...I hate this world." Covering his face with his offhand.

"This explains why we always run into an issue on vacation." Her humorless gaze on him.

"Yeah-yeah, come on, let's see yours so that you can rub it in..." Gesturing his hand to her.

Closeness from two, their connecting hearts. Those days of old, unlikeliness in their meeting. This leading to more, a direction worth pursuing. Seeking after what is inside, both sharing a similar desire. Not backing down, enduring hardships. Defying the gods, a devil creating miracles. Light in the deepest of darkness, her message throughout time. Constantly rising to her challenge, defeating countless enemies. Facing away from him, giggling a bit. A clownish individual, appreciating him. Displaying her own, Valor closely looking at it.

"You mean I actually win at something? Alright!" that cheering deity, jumping for joy.

"This means, my stats are tied to my nature." Glancing back to him.

"Uh-huh, you ain't getting to the stage of acceptance ya know. Just let me have one." Walking up behind her, poking her cheek.

Shaking her head in disbelief, shrugging at this. Allowing this, that animal looking at the young woman's stats. Confusingly scratching his head, someone witnessing her abilities. One bringing demise in the wake of her despair, something more in this. His eyes on the stage counter, connecting some pieces. A Countdown to Ruin, her calm state. An idea in mind, a realm breaking down the nature of individuals. Solidifying it into a common form, reflecting it into actuality. His attention to his buddy, that god proudly walking onward. Beating her in something, believing in this. Two trailing behind him, giving him his moment. Eventually finding themselves in a city, this unsettling atmosphere. Few people about, strangeness in this.

"Oh yeah, and I also want a clown for the celebration." Valor pointing to his list, looking at his wife.

"Val, isn't something off here?" her eyes on her surroundings.

"Yeah, me actually beating you in something." Propping his arms behind his head.

"Not that, I mean this city." Her humorless gaze on him.

Relishing in simpleness, planning out his party for this occasion. Trying for years, his partner always pulling above him. Countless losses, one finally in his hands. Not letting this go, cherishing it. Writing down his plan, explaining it to her on the way. Patience with this one, allowing him in the spotlight. This city around her, points not adding up. That iguana observing this, sniffing his surroundings. Facing them, barking at the two, pointing to his left.

"Now that you two mention it, it is really off. Well, given that our lives are literally in a block of text, I am going with my gut feeling that there is a guild. Bet you on that, we will count it as my second win." Raising his eyebrows to her.

"Val, that is not how it works." Holding the side of her head a bit in frustration.

"I am gonna take every little victory I can at this point." Turning from her, happily walking ahead.

"Maybe I should stop being cheap, and pay for actual therapy for him. Nah...Fernandez is good enough." Her hand to her chin, following behind.

A childish person, brightly proceeding in his path. Withstanding tragedies over the years, still holding strong. Admiring this, her own happiness developing at a slower pace. These never leaving emotions, branding nightmares. His presence with her, aiding her through it. Appreciating him, his hard efforts. Constantly doing his best, always trying to bring her joy. Three shortly finding themselves in front of a guild, this large building before them. Twin gates at the front, guards at the side.

"I am counting this as another win." Proudly smiling at her.

"You still have like close to a million to make up at this point." Shrugging at him.

"Let me have this will you?!" dismay from him.

Waiting years for this, this entity always pulling one over him. Always trying to surpass her, never able in doing so. This world giving him a moment, excitement from it. Enjoying this vacation, wanting to celebrate for a long time. Disbelief from the young woman, gesturing her arm onward. Moving ahead, those three entering into the establishment. Tables on both sides, a path to the quest counter at the front. A man standing there, his black flowing hair, his thick armor. Looking at a mission in his hand, his unsettling expression.

"I don't know about you, but I am feeling in the mood for hunting a dragon. Let's go check what jobs they have to offer." Valor smiling at the devil.

"Do you honestly think it is a good idea with your luck stat and all?" her vision behind.

"Eh, luck doesn't mean anything, I'm sure I will be fine." Brushing this off.
