A Hero's Soul(Character Profile)

Azim

Title: Defender of Midgard

A man choosing to become a hero. At first, it was more part time. Having a family, caring about them. At the same time, believing in betterment for tomorrow. Extraordinary capabilities within him, this catching the attention of Astek. Surpassing his opponents, bringing happiness in his presence. Cherishing those smiles, but most important, his family.

Everything slipping away from him on a night, Astek pinning the blame on Cyra. This leading to the hero remodeling his body, becoming a cyborg. Half his body gone from the accident, yet his resolve still strong. Always carrying a light of hope in him, his heroic ideals still in place. Eventually discovering the truth, the Bringer of Demise lighting his way. Granting onto him a selfish wish, choosing to go with his family. Thus, taking away the hero of Midgard.

Bonus Scene From Azim:

A Defender's Desire

Years away from them, my time finally flowing onward. These two in my life again, our ventures together. A hero I once have been, but that is no more. I have done enough, now it is time I embrace these two again. My daughter is a handful, always pulling me from one place to the next.

No matter, I will take this any day. Living so many years without them, it makes me value them even more. This shining sun, its warm light on us. The flowing grass in the park, that girl running up to me. Pulling me with her, my wife following behind. My white coat blowing in the wind, this little one's blue dress swaying along.

"Come on!" brightness from her.

"Alright-alright, just for a bit. Then it's off to hit the books." My faint smile.

"Wha?! But no fair!" turning to me, her hands to her chest, displeasure from her.

"No buts young lady." My shimmering grin.

Coming back to them, everything resuming again. Death is simply the beginning, I know this now. I am fine with it, whoever rises next, I hope they will be an even better hero than me. Iconoclast, I thank you for teaching me much. There is light in the deepest of darkness, this coming to my attention in that last battle. Glancing to my side, my wife there. Her velvet top, an orange dress wrapping below. Our smiles on the other, cherishing one another.

The final stage to ruin, not taking to this state for many years. The height of evolution, her never binding soul. Her blood of a divine on the surface, entering into the state of a goddess. Finding her passion in medicine, not shackling to the land. Soaring free, happiness with her again. Her encounter with Azim dragging her back into this life, assisting him with his goal after their confrontation. Humans going far, advancing their technology. Trying to kill her, deceiving a hero. This not lasting, truth coming to the surface. Two tackling their challenge together, revealing a morrow of betterment, leaving the future in the hands of those of tomorrow.

Still, an understandable one no less. Standing here at your grave underneath the shining sun, those years of your efforts. Seeing it, feeling it myself. Rest now, Azim. We will meet again at some point, and when that day comes, I will like to hear of your adventures with your family.
