Chapter 2: Innocent Death(Conclusion )

Flying to the wall, hitting her back against it. The student calling out, her moving feet. Ava falling to the ground, colliding into the surface. Her weak vision ahead, this grim situation to her.

Slightly turning her head, seeing the girl running to her, that monster approaching Dabria. Steadily losing consciousness, strange sentiments flowing within her.

Innocence in a horrific place, the young woman wanting to do more. The creature slowly nearing the girl, backing her against the wall. Her hasty heart, soon screaming out.

Hearing her scream like that, I am not sure why, but I felt something build inside of me. An unrelenting hatred, this guiding me, filling me with renewed energy, but also a sinister darkness...

Floating in the abyss, shadows swarming around the maiden. The hazel girl there, her hands to her chest. Softly speaking, her words echoing through the young woman. Blackness swirling around Ava, infusing into her body.

These emotions breaking free, enveloping her in a dark void. Her hand reaching out, revealing a malefic gauntlet. Her head unveiling, reflecting the sun from her hair, those chilling white eyes from her.

Her black armor and dark feathery helm, a noble ruinous cape trailing down the lower half from her back. Facing her target, extending her ancient sword. Its dark scales stretching long, old symbols burning along its length.

These overwhelming feelings within her, a person entering into a state of corruption. The monster reaching for the girl, its arm flying above. Crimson liquid splashing far, some hitting the student. Dabria's surprise, witnessing the foe's ringing scream.

"Hahaha...more! I want to hear your pain even more!"

Dabria's quivering heart, hearing the maiden's laughter. The fiend stepping away, shaking in fear. The young woman's slow movement towards it, dragging her sword along the ground. Blood flowing in each path, malice thickly emanating from her.

Standing on her side, extending her offhand. Snapping her fingers, negativity bursting in every direction. Immediately rushing forward, riding along its many waves, cloaking herself in darkness.

Emerging above the monster, her sword over her other shoulder. Striking down, crushing it underneath the heavy weight. Slicing through its limbs, its loud scream, sending her foe crashing down from afar.

Ava calmly touching down on her feet, seeing her target still with life, the monster helplessly on the ground. Connecting her blade to the land, steadily approaching it. Shortly before it, kneeling to it. Turning its head to her, softly smiling at them, her sinister grin.

"What is wrong? Do you fear death? Hm hm...then I will put you out of your misery."

A heart in the darkness, embracing her corruption. Sentiments flowing through her, these powerful feelings surging within her. Raising her blade, her cold eyes on her foe. Directing it at the fiend's skull, the girl's wide vision.

Seeing the descending weapon, watching the maiden plunge it through the monster's eye. Red liquid splashing on Ava's face, Dabria covering her mouth, trying to settle her stomach.

Someone witnessing the malice in the maiden, the person's slowly fading energy. Her crimson hair returning, those azure eyes on her enemy, her regular clothing on her. Gripping the side of her head, feeling sick, coughing a bit.

Glancing to her sword, that weapon back to normal. The student slowly approaching her friend, her shaking heart. Ava standing up, soon facing the girl, the two shortly before one another.

"Why are you here?" Ava folding her arms, her strict vision.

"I...saw you running. So, I was concerned, and wanted to see if I could help..." Looking down, twiddling her thumbs.

As furious as I was...I could not stay mad. I am not sure why, it is like there is something else. That innocence, it is familiar to me for some reason...

A pure one coming into the darkness, shining light along her road. A strange person to the young woman, yet something more existing in the dusk. Ava sighing, shortly walking up to the girl.

Placing a gentle hand on their head, the student's slowly settling heart. The girl's eyes to the beast, someone seeing two sides to another, experiencing corruption and warmth.

An individual approaching her demise, weird sentiments grabbing at her, unveiling a sinister force. Ava shortly calming Dabria, soon moving back a bit, her hands to her side.

"Try and be more careful, if I was not here, you would have been dead." Ava sighing in relief.

"Right...but all is fine now. And what is this? You were worried about me?" her hand dreamily to her cheek.

"I should have let that thing eat you..." The maiden looking away in some frustration.

"Why can't you just read the moment?" Dabria frowning, her hands to her chest.

Give her an inch, and she takes a mile. Well...at least she is fine. Still...does this mean people just stay in door at night? Though, how does this explain why everywhere looks so pitiful?

Mysteries in the night, her wandering mind on the reason. Terror after the setting sun, monsters roaming in the shadows. The young woman ignoring the girl, soon returning to the documents.

Hearing Dabria's complaints, not paying it any mind. A sister coming far, tackling her many challenges. Refusing to remain quiet, evading shadowy hands, eventually awakening to a state of corruption.

Her gripping unease, these familiar feelings to her. A tool to battle those monsters, her uncertainty on activating it. Shortly standing in front of the files, memories plaguing her. The girl noticing, their grim eyes.

Two young siblings, darkness around them. A boy the age of five, his sister a few years older. Injuries on the girl, someone enduring her wounds.

Blood dripping from her, an individual protecting the smaller one. The boy worrying about her, tears from his eyes, screaming out. A long torture, two eventually alone in a room in ruin.

Fear in the little one, his caring older sibling. Ava embracing him, her gentle hand on his head. Her deep hatred for those horrible ones, trying to sooth his wailing.

"It is okay, whenever you need me, just call..." Her tender voice.

Memories eternally within her, a sister's words to her brother. Someone leaving a message a few months back, Ava quickly breaking free from her confinement, chasing after him.

Finding herself in a nightmarish town, searching for clues on his whereabouts. These documents in her possession, a person making one step forward.

Her gripping unease, fearing the worst. The young woman holding onto hope, keeping her eye on the slim light.

The maiden soon glancing to the student, seeing their sadness, both not speaking a word. An understanding between them, great pain grabbing at Ava.

I do not care who or what I have to kill...I will find you Dillon, so hold on. I said all you had to do is call, and here I am. My experiences here have been far from anything normal. Though, I am not sure, but Dabria helps to shine light on my road...
