Chapter 3: Those Willing to Commit Atrocities(Part 2)

Memories guiding her, that voice from another. Four years in torment, wanting her happiest days again. Two sharing this sentiment, one breaking free from her confinement. Rising to her challenges, a world in the hands of a single power. Their massive influence, a heart opposing them. Resolve mirroring her power, that contract with a devil. Not caring for the price, saving that one of importance. Two heading out, circling the area. Setting out bait, attracting large animals. Some monsters amongst them, betterment in this. Difficulty in commanding the lot of them, darkness radiating from her arm. Warning the young man, that one uneasily stepping away. Raising her hand, unleashing a wave of negativity. Sharply sounding, screeching from many.

Enraging numerous, these creatures facing the two. Fleeing this area, leading them to their destination. Coming upon a town, a tall gate blocking their entrance. Countless raging animals, blackness burning from her arm. Firing the malice, striking the object. This enormous explosion, fire scorching the surroundings. Hiding in this chaos, smoke secluding these beasts. Many rushing in, countless screaming out. Normally entering, blending in. Madness around them, piling bodies, scattering parts. Blood staining the land, scarring buildings. One approaching a child, horror in his eyes. A flying arrow, piercing the skull of a boar. This lifelessly falling creature, that boy running away. Insanity around, frustrating feelings. Turning from the maiden, biting his lower lip.

"I did what I had to..."

"That is fine, let us hurry before the damage worsens." Gesturing her arm onward.

Bringing a war against a church, those in the crossfire. Selfishly going forward, pursuing what is within. Racing in blackness, trailing shadowy hands. Reaching for the faintest light, shouting out to that one. Giving up her humanity, needing to do so. This moment in her hands, her cold actions, yet warmth still existing. Glancing back to her, two sides to this young woman. A purpose in committing atrocities, her willingness towards it. Conviction in her path, softness still remaining. Two moving onward, guards combatting the creatures. Mapping out their actions, carefully planning their direction. Finding their way to a cathedral, that proudly standing building. Stairs leading upward, pillars parallel to each other. An open area, a commander pointing at her. His ashen hair, those black eyes, his age a bit older.

"Isa, breaking out of that prison. Wounding Aiden, killing a pope, setting that city ablaze. Creating this current madness, those deeds are worth a punishment beyond death..." Slightly looking away.

"Nothing will stop my path..." Folding her arms, sharply glaring at him.

"Elina huh, heh. You were always someone who gave it your all in whatever you do, I suppose it is no surprise you will go this far for her." Faintly smiling at her.

"It matters not what I have to do, I will not stop until she is safe."

Their deep bond, two separating for years. Binding in chains, enduring torment. Residing at the depths of blackness, her shaky body. Believing in the tiniest possibility, waiting for her opportunity. Unable to hold on, a devil coming before her. This one granting onto her a contract, forever changing her form. Hearing those words, Zeke glancing to her. Sense in this, connecting her message. Sadness from him, understanding more. Her reason before him, keeping it to herself. Proceeding in her path, selfishly going onward. Her great sins, creating chaos. Her katana in her left hand, analyzing her area. Noting a point of interest, extending her blade in the direction. This catching the young man's attention, trailing her angle. Containers of oil nearby, awareness on her aim, rushing over to it.

"Our duty is not with the life of one, but the life of countless. Have you forgotten this Isa?!" his sword afar.

"The life of countless? I cannot care less, all that matters is Elina." Her cold voice.

Her true emotions, displaying this. Once serving underneath the church, faithfully doing so. Those betraying her trust, one wishing to uphold their ideals. Defeat coming to her, that companion in their grasp. Breaking free from her confinement, fighting against former allies. An enemy approaching the young man, his vision meeting with this one. A task at hand, that desire of another. A connecting point between them, wanting to do something. Leaping high, turning one-eighty degrees. Aiming his bow, locking onto his target. Rapidly firing, piercing the containers. Spilling oil, his job at completion, his attention to his targets below.

"Isa...you should have just told me..."

Not trusting others, her way in the past. One coming into her life, changing this. Crossing paths, a chance of an encounter. Gratefulness for this, adjusting her schedule. Those guiding memories, a gentle hand reaching out to her. A bright individual, smiling in her work. Worrying about the young woman, regret eating away at her. Hatred boiling at her depths, those terrorizing her companion. Questioning their goal, a sacrifice of necessity. Not allowing for this, prioritizing one over innumerable. Clashing against that commander, her powerful determination. Swiftly moving, her heavy impact. Her tremendous strength, pushing against him.

"A demon, that is what you chose to become. A monster you used to slay!" his severe voice.

"If that is what it takes to bring Elina home, then it is fine. It was my fault she got caught up in this, and I do not plan for her to die for it as well!"

Malevolence secreting from her body, determination in her stance. Opposing a church, her own decision. Another sweeping away in this madness, their happiness no more. Taking her from her home, dragging her across the lands. Punishing her, preparing a sacrifice. This enraging the devil, shortly breaking away from her target. Each within their own path, some changing their way. Differences of them, believing in their direction, selfishly pursuing their heart. Rapidly colliding against the other, his blade narrowly passing her back. Her fierce gaze, lunging forward. Stabbing through, hitting his sword. Critically crashing against him, that man sliding back on his feet. His careful stance, sternly looking at her. That spreading oil, this nearing by the moment. Hatred in her eyes, her unrelenting resolve.

"You used to be one of our best, but now you are a beast..."

"A line was crossed when you lot took Elina. Even if this is forever my form, I will free her." Her solemn tone.

Her pale skin, her white hair. Fangs on display, these sharp claws. Those gold and red eyes, her secreting malevolence, that monstrous power. Potential within, this mirroring her determination. Spreading oil, that commander noticing it. Connecting these points, his attention ahead. Witnessing her leaping high, blackness thickening around her offhand. Releasing it below, sinking it into the liquid. Setting it ablaze, the expanding fire.

Towering walls, devouring the area. This immense force, flames engulfing the man. Extending, catching onto the surrounding buildings, enveloping the cathedral. Landing below, a conflict at an ending. Turning away, walking onward. Echoing screams, her cold eyes. Stopping her movements, looking below. An azure flower once more, her distant gaze. Kneeling to it, the young man running in. That maiden touching it, a reacting object, watching it fade away. A blue light surrounding her, that voice from her companion ringing through her.

Day into day out, there is no rest. Chains shackling me, it hurts so much. Though, it doesn't hurt nearly as much as being away from Isa...

That entity in between dimensions, her vision on the young woman. Going far, staining her soul in blackness. Enduring enormous pain, this helpless sentiment. No longer remaining in silence, shouting her soul. Those older days, a similar path to herself. Committing atrocities, seeking after her deepest desire. That one below rising to her feet, her great fury. Raising her blade, concentrating negativity. Smashing it into the land, unleashing this wave of malice. That energy passing the young man, gazing around him. Crumbling buildings, horror in his eyes. Intensifying flames, a place in ruin. Anguish in her vision, the raging fire. Her displaying sorrow, those feeling her anger.

Elina...you should not have to suffer. I am on my way, so please wait a bit longer. This church, they will learn what happens when I bear my fangs...
