Chapter 7: A True Enemy(Conclusion)

Flowing streams, those traveling along in its endlessness. Not in awareness on those around them, infinite possibilities in actuality. Crossing paths, new experiences. Two meeting underneath the light of the blood moon, this unlikely occurrence. Those of differing worlds, a chance of an encounter. Smallness at first, their growing relationship. Cherishing one another, difficulty at times, surpassing their challenges. Their close bond, a night of horror, this plan by another. A blissful evening, something coming to the attention of the young woman. A questionable church, wondering on this. That following day, finding herself at the cathedral.

One of innocence discovering something, that partner with her. Her black armor, her thick gauntlets. Her sharp leggings, those boots the same. Uncertainty from her, preparing in case. That hazel one behind her, her short dark coat. Her red top, her black dress wrapping below. That area of them, on the lower floor. A place filling with knowledge, shelves of books. Computers at the side, an area of restriction ahead. Glancing back to her companion, pointing in the direction, the girl confirming. Two proceeding onward, none around at the moment, standing in front of a door. A password lock, that young woman glancing back to Elina.

"One question...how did you get past this security?"

"I may have...temporarily fried its censors..." Looking away, scratching her cheek with her index finger.

"I...probably should not have asked." Sighing from the maiden.

Stepping aside, one not having clearance. Ascending through the ranks, wondering on the knowledge beyond this point. Requesting information, secrecy of individuals. A normal process, those containing details. Her shifting duties, impossibility in gaining entry on her own. Essentialness in moving beyond this point, that partner walking up to the door. A small object in her hand, placing it over the inputs. Electricity discharging from it, a red light turning green. That unlocking door, impressiveness in this. Putting away the device, those two heading in. Finding themselves before many shelves of documents, this slightly messy area.

"I found it towards the back." The girl moving ahead, pointing in the direction, glancing behind.

"Alright, let us find it fast, the next person to come make a round is in an hour." Folding her arms, following behind.

A crafty individual, having her talents. Bypassing security, opening this place. A violation no less, this risky situation. Breaching their agreement, requiring this knowledge. Serving the church, powerfully carrying their ideals. Strange occurrences, needing to clarify it. Those heading deeper, finding their way near a computer. An old object, files on it. That young woman placing her hand on some, spreading it apart. Scanning its details, normal processes. Business details, information on other lands. Unable to make sense of some parts, slightly looking away.

The author's tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.

"What could these specific sections mean...? It...probably is not important." Positioning her arms in a thinking posture.

"That is strange...where did the files go? It was around here, did they move it?" the girl moving along the wall.

"That is possible, we should split up and search." That maiden facing in her direction.

"Yeah..." Glancing back to her.

Limitation on their time, needing to find the information. Their illegal intrusion, a point of interest from that girl. Trusting in her, one performing her duties. Her hard efforts, loving her work. This unsettling her, wondering on the details. Two heading in different directions, pulling out files. Hastily scanning them, searching for anything of worth. Some information catching the young woman's attention, its confusing message. A place in access to few, knowledge away from the people. Unease by this, needing something more.

"If only I had more time to make sense of these. If I turn on my phone as well, they will be able to track my position..."

This frustrating her, wanting to deeply assess these documents, a strict church. Those following in its line, incapability of taking pictures. Having to put it back, these points of interest. Tapping her foot against the ground, thinking on her findings. Doubt inside of her, wondering on those within it. Some passing time, unable in unraveling necessary files. This strange experience, those having to leave. Residing outside of the cathedral, this gentle flowing wind, sadness from the girl.

"Sorry...we could not find it. Though, it is true, I saw it in there..." Holding her arm, her vision below.

"I believe you...there is something I just cannot shake. Elina...you head home, I am going back on my own." Folding her arms, her attention slightly away.

Knowledge to her awareness, incapability in making sense of it. Fragments of these, a binding point existing somewhere. Needing more time, a risk with her partner with her. Wanting to protect her, needing to know herself. This beating in her chest, unease gripping at her. Missing information, weirdness in it. Something not right, questions plaguing her mind, this unsettling her. Concerning with this, that maiden before her. Never relenting, pursuing her path. A dangerous situation, yet her unwavering resolve. An admirable trait, this constantly worrying that innocent one.

"I understand...there is none who cherishes the church's ideals more than you. It is natural, that you will want to know more. Please, be-careful." Uneasily gazing at her companion.

"I will, do not worry." Faintly smiling at the girl.

Handing her partner the disrupter, gratefulness for this. Facing away from that pure one, deeply thinking. Missing a place, some spots in mind. One carrying the church's ideals, firmly believing in them. Her shifting duties, this not changing. Leading a new life, venturing into danger again. This sentiment inside of her, her unsettling emotions. That companion feeling this, worth in searching further. Isa's attention on the cathedral, this large building. Pillars standing proud, stairs leading higher. Moving onward, her clear path. Not backing down, seeking out answers.

What I saw in that room, it shook me. Yet, I could not make sense of it. I needed more time, thus I went back. I knew this would be my only chance, I needed to act on this. With Armand coming the next day, information would be moved around. This being part of their security, I needed to make haste. Elina...you supported me, even through my most reckless decisions. I want to thank you, for always supporting me...
