Chapter 6: A Vessel Filling with Life(Part 2)

Words from both, a knight firm in her vision. Not stopping, feverishly pursuing her goal. A stubborn person, this individual steadily progressing. Walking along a road of light, seeing the end of this nightmare.

Racing forward, thinking on her experiences. The many obstacles over her years, her great frustrations. Demanding more, turning up empty every time.

A coming night, a certain meeting setting a new chain, a way towards a new tomorrow. Shortly standing up, the knight heading over to the bed, lying down with her partner.

Once living below the eyes of Valice, an insignificant life to countless. Choosing to become a disposable commodity, this opening new doors.

Her life steadily shaping in a different path, her eventual meeting with a princess. Many more options coming to her, yet something more valuable in her hands.

Losing everything, descending into sorrow, her rage leading her onward. Seeking after a god, an entity always moving locations.

An unlikely encounter on a night, a person with the vision of the sun setting a new way forward for her. Days going by, those companions passing along the time with numerous activities.

A mercenary waiting for her chance, a night eternally within her. A helpless feeling never going away, everything instantly falling apart. Carefully keeping her mind on the field, expecting Rona's play. The cold windy dusk, two underneath the bleeding moonlight.

The sound of the ocean waves to them, this calming tune. Atlalune leaning against the railing, looking out into the sea. That researcher's attention on her surroundings, spotting a crate going overboard with an iguana on top wearing an eyepatch.

"Pirate iguanas!" Sol quickly clinging to her knight.

"Pirate what?" Atlalune's vision to her in disbelief.

"Look!" the mage shutting her eyes, pointing in the direction.

Creatures in the shadows, skillfully flinging the crates into position, moving them overboard. This unbelievable situation, the maiden shaking her head in disbelief.

A sigh leaving her, shifting her gaze to the path. An empty space ahead, the quiet sea to the ears. Tapping her partner's shoulder, the pure one slowly opening her vision, her hasty heart. Not seeing any of them, this confusing her.

"But...they were..." Uncertainly resting her hand on her chest.

"Sol, I think you need to work out a few issues." The knight faintly smiling at her.

"I am telling the truth!" frowning at her companion.

These crafty animals moving through the shadows, flinging more crates overboard. All the while, the researcher trying to convince her partner.

Describing a string of nonsensical events, her firm belief that great evil is around them. An iguana with an eyepatch running by, this tripping creature.

The knight’s attention in the direction, that beast immediately using camouflage, covering itself with a sheet. Her suspicious eyes on it, moving towards it.

The mage uneasily following behind, glancing to her companion. These two shortly standing before the area, the animal uneasily sweating. From above, an iguana falling, landing on the maiden's head.

"What the?!" her vision shockingly above.

The one on the ground breaking its stealth, immediately leaping. Grabbing their companion, hurling them overboard. Quickly landing on a crate passing by, facing the two, giving them a farewell sign.

Atlalune and Sol running to the edge, their hands on the railing, watching the animals descend below the surface in their enormous submarine.

"See?! I told you!" the researcher pointing in the direction.

"Huh..." The knight blankly scratching her cheek with her index finger.

Not expecting a raid on this night, creatures taking advantage of the shadows. Skillfully proceeding, quickly moving in and out.

The mercenary trying to process the event, her disbelief at it all. Shortly feeling movements nearby, glancing in the path.

Another iguana with an eyepatch reaching for an item from the noble-woman, the knight immediately lunging forward. Grabbing it, holding it in front of her.

That researcher shockingly covering her mouth, her vision on the creature. The animal uneasily scratching the back of its head, barking at the maiden.

"You might be able to pull a fast one on me once, but not twice." Slightly smiling at it, pointing to the sea.

Its vision below, seeing the moving waves. Thinking for a bit, taking out a card, handing it to her. The knight gripping it, this confusing situation.

Taking some time, reading it. A contract for a job, animals willing to do anything in exchange for an adequate reward. Setting the iguana down on the railing, folding her arms. Thinking on its offer, having an idea in mind.

"Right now I do not have anything for you all. Though, if I am successful in the upcoming battle. There will be one I can offer, is that good enough?" her faint grin.

"Are you seriously going to trust this demon?!" the mage gesturing her hand to it.

Her hatred still towards a specific point, these many aligning pieces. An unlikely set of pirates, one coming in with an offer. Her answer towards it, the creature nodding in agreement. Facing away from them, leaping into the sea.

A grappling hook shooting out, grabbing it, pulling it deep below. Mysteries in the realms, each holding their own secrets. Allies around the most unlikely corners, yet these small connecting points.

"I don't think anyone will believe this story..." Atlalune's hand behind her head.

"I have been saying this for a long time. Iguanas lead a whole different set of lives, they are evil." Sol's hands to her chest, her stern expression.

"I wouldn't say evil, just mischievous." The maiden shrugging.

A surprising event revealing more in the vast world, an experience with the mercenary. Her companion's firm stance on the maliciousness of iguanas, pointing to the amount of things they have come across together.

These pure sentiments, relishing in its bliss. Having to make a small detour the next day, their vessel needing to resupply.

A bird descending by a shore underneath the morning sun, the maiden taking the message from it. Reading it over, learning about the nearing attack, her stern expression. Immediately calling for their departure, setting sail within the hour.

Eventually arriving at Valice's port at sundown, a great storm around them, the heavily swirling wind. Many flying objects, this immense pressure. The mercenary activating Titan's weight, withstanding the disaster, shielding herself with a barrier.

"Oh good, you arrived. What took so long?" Ethan standing before Atlalune, trying to resist the wind.

"You wouldn't believe us if we told you. Anyway, given this storm, it is Siren." Her hand to her chin.

"Yes, fighting in this weather is just suicidal." Sol tightly gripping the railing.

"But not for someone with Titan's power. We won't be able to do anything until this weather becomes manageable. We have lost many knights, as well as artilleries." The warrior gesturing his hand to the maiden.

"Give me some time. While I handle this, please take Sol somewhere safe. Then get ready to use the cannons when the opportunity presents itself." Folding her arms.

"Alright, be-wary though. I have a nagging feeling at the back of my mind, that Rona is somewhere nearby." The man looking at his surroundings.

"Right, I figured she'd use a pincer attack against me. Siren is likely a diversion." The maiden’s vision above.

"When things settle down, I'll help evacuate people and assist them in any way I can." The researcher looking to her companion.

"Okay, but be-careful." The knight nodding to her.
