The vampire folding his arms, looking down. One returning from the darkest abyss, carrying on in the harshest of conflicts. Her steadily surfacing memories, her never relenting heart.
Continuously seeing more of her, excitement inside of him. Forever staining sins, an entity standing against an endless cycle. Holding onto an old promise, two companions drifting away.
Wrongs from the past, this chance to make it right. That princess following along, her growing confidence. Aster's vision ahead, trailing behind, faintly smiling. All the while, Esther's agonizing emotions, her way to go forward.
"Forgive me for all of this, Raphael. Though, we need to meet with you..." Esther distantly moving onward.
—The Past Revisited—
—Twenty Years Ago—
Vast lands carrying life, the breeze refreshingly blowing through. Sunlight bathing down, enlightening those roaming the land. The Kingdom of the Dragonkins amongst it, magnificently standing tall.
From deep within, Esther standing before Raphael in the throne room. These earlier days, that proud woman. Her great horns, her elegant scales. Wings spanning far, reflecting her heritage. The prince folding his arms, uncertainty from him.
One giving up much, all for a human. Her desire within, settling down this man, appreciating his caution. Lucia from behind, her conflicting sentiments, yet accepting her friend's choice.
"Are you certain of this Esther?" Raphael's concerning voice.
Her hand to her chest, faintly smiling. These emotions within her, a painful situation, her decision towards it. Growing up in this home, a new place out there for her.
An intimidating experience, her wishes elsewhere. The prince looking away from her, coming to terms with her choice. Acknowledging her, their still existing bond.
"Yes, I am. I know for the only way for such a thing to be possible is if I give up what I am. No matter, this kingdom will benefit from my decision as well." Softly assuring him.
Humans fearing dragons, one of their own connecting with an unlikely person. A heart yearning to go where it pleases, Raphael understanding this.
A sigh leaving him, directly looking into her eyes. Her expression to him, his concern for naught. This dragon part of his family, seeing her go her own way. Lucia's vision to her side, accepting Esther's feelings.
"To sacrifice so much...just know, you will always be welcomed back here." Placing a gentle hand on her shoulder.
"Thank you, I shouldn't keep him waiting now, he tends to get into some trouble on his own." Smiling at him.

"Haha, you sure know how to choose them. Take care, okay?" that prince stepping back, grinning at her.
"I will."
Family never separating, their continuously existing link. Esther turning away, heading onward. Those two from behind, their eyes on her, accepting her decision.
The dragon meeting with Raiser outside the kingdom, her horns no more. Her wings gone, those scales less in awareness.
Her gaze on the man, his hand towards her, extending a reassuring smile. Returning a similar one, taking hold of him. This painful moment, yet her heart desiring somewhere else.
"Anytime you wish to return, just say, and I'll bring you back." His gentle voice on her.
"Thank you." Her grateful tone.
The gently blowing breeze, Esther looking to her kingdom. Memories from the past, those blissful experiences. Sneaking around for years, finding herself in trouble one after the next.
Raphael and Lucia being her accomplices in so many, those trio finding themselves in the heat of battle together. Some sorrow from her eyes, a price to pay. Turning her attention to Raiser, the man leading her onward. Desires deep inside, a dragon going far to achieve them.
—Present Time—
"I gave up so much, and he always brought me back here to visit. We would have so much fun, just a bit longer Raiser." Esther distantly thinking.
Pleasant days from the past, getting into trouble with Raphael and Lucia. Two always sticking together, relishing in their joy. A difficult decision, time going by, her new wonderful life. Aster heading onward, scouting the area.
The young woman's careful vision, tracking his movements. Her growing suspicions, this unsettling feeling in the pit of her stomach. Needing to know, her quickly beating chest. The vampire shortly returning, his bright mood.
"Turns out that there are no guards ahead, it should be a bit easier from here on out." Folding his arms.
That queen positioning her arms in a thinking posture, this strange development. None guarding the lower quarters, the outside lacking as well. The garden having security, a concerning occurrence.
Remembering Lucia's condition, the night making it worse. Connecting a few pieces, the dragons doing their best to survive. Having to pressing onward, Raiser's body no less the turning point in the war.
"It is definitely the night, we should head on with caution." Esther slightly looking away.
"Right, there is no telling what to expect up ahead." Cyra's hand on her waist, looking back to the dragon.
The worsening dusk, dragons resisting the threat. Something more lurking within the depths, one holding a sinister secret within. These small numbers, the queen thinking on the possibility.
Her hasty heart, her suspicion on the chance. Hearts in this blackness, forcing onward in its madness. An entity steadily returning, seeking after what is within. Connecting the bonds of others, her direction to go forward.
"You ready?" Cyra glancing to Anya.
"I am!" excitement from the princess.
"Good." Cyra suspiciously looking to Aster.
Her penetrating gaze, the young woman shortly passing him. Her clear displeasure, that demon looking away. His conflicting sentiments, a painful decision. Needing to continue his path, requiring one from old.
Still thinking on the end, his last chance. The strengthening night, an old friend slowly returning from the deepest shadows. The dragon's eyes on him, soon shifting her attention to the maiden.
"I wonder what's wrong between them..." Esther's confusion.
Everyone following behind the maiden, making their way deeper into the castle. Cyra steadily connecting the pieces, hope in her heart. Not stopping, reaching after her past.
The queen's sorrow, taking the lives of her people. Pleasant memories from her home, cherishing them. That Elven believing in the best, her desire to reunite with Lance.
Aster, a vampire with many secrets. His great remorse, not wishing to seclude knowledge. Having to do so, diving after one from old, requiring her to surface again.
You let on less than you know. That energy, those words...that injury...I wonder if it is simply a coincidence. If not...then why...? Either way, I will discover what truth you are concealing...
