Chapter 4: Endless Dusk(Conclusion)

A sister selfishly pursuing her route, enduring her deep pain. Her high emotions, the chilling breeze flowing in the dusk. Dabria hearing those words, her friend's purpose in Inai.

Carrying on alone in their agony, feeling their torment. Wishing to believe in their kindness, a girl seeing another side to them. A person's unending rage, yet their warmth towards one.

"I said my piece. I hate to tell you this, but not even I know where he is. All that I can tell you, is that your goal has been the same for a long time, continuously repeating a loop of separation." Gesturing his arm to her.

"A loop?" her sharp vision.

"Desdemona, how many times do you think you have failed to save your brother? How many times do you think you have repeated this cycle? The countless years that passed by?" shaking his head in pity.

I...I have done this before...? How long have I been at this...? No, I cannot be doubtful now, he has to be somewhere in Inai...

His confusing message to Dabria, the girl uncertainly looking down. A white light taking over, their sharp vision on the demon, the lavender one's stretching influence. Wrapping around the maiden, taking on their pain as well.

Ava looking behind, seeing her friend's soft gaze on her. Both soon shifting their vision ahead, the young woman feeling these pure sentiments.

"Do you actually think it is a good idea to interfere this much?" Armdak folding his arms.

"If it means her safety, then I will risk punishment by the one who allowed me to exist like this." The hazel one's serious tone.

What does she mean? Someone else is preventing her from acting as she likes...?

A heart refusing to back down, taking on the immense weight of the situation. Their determination to protect one to their heart, standing with another after so many years. From between dimensions, a being watching.

Her long blonde hair and crimson eyes, someone in gold armor. A red noble cape stretching down the lower half of their back, wearing a velvet ribbon at the end of their hair.

"Your decision is to go against my will. Very well, I will allow it. Show me the depths of your desires, both of you." The Iconoclast folding her arms, faintly smiling.

Two connecting hearts, their souls with one another. Running along their road, opposing their enemies. Armdak rushing forward, Ava meeting his action. Scraping her sword along the land, darkness trailing the area.

Colliding her blade into his fist, pushing against him. Black spikes surrounding her, rapidly closing in. Violently exploding, the maiden sliding back on her feet.

"Do not worry, I will take in the pain, so keep pushing." The girl's soft tone.

"If you keep taking damage like this, what will happen to you?" Ava's unease.

"It is nothing to concern with." Glancing to the maiden.

"Do not lie now. If you endure too much, you will cease to exist." Armdak's slight smile.

"Separate from me now. I have many questions, but I also feel like I cannot lose you." The young woman looking to the hazel one.

"You won't have to. Ava, you have to stop taking on everything alone. So, please allow me to fight alongside you." Wrapping her arms around her companion.

I really did not want to get her involved, I felt like I absolutely should not. However, something about her is guiding me, filling me with familiar emotions...

Two hearts in an endless stream, their meeting after a long time. The maiden's hazy memories, gripping the side of her head. Trusting in these sentiments, nodding her agreement to the lavender one.

A sinister white energy flowing from her, widely extending her sword. Rushing forward, cracking the tiles below. Closing in on her target, his fists over his head. Striking down, crashing it into her.

Withstanding it, the maiden dropping below. Rendering her foot into his rib, sending him afar. Immediately standing on her side, her offhand ahead, malice heavily burning from her.

"You will feel what rests in my soul!"

Snapping her fingers, unleashing the black force. The fiend touching down on the ground, witnessing the assault surrounding him. Ava rushing forward, traveling along the dark energy.

Shortly emerging out of it, piercing through her foe with her blade. Instantly turning, swiftly connecting an uppercut. Launching her enemy high, locking onto him.

Immediately leaping, plunging through Armdak. The young woman looking down at him from above, her harshly igniting malice. Forming it into a dark spear, grabbing it.

Hurling it at her foe, colliding it into him. Crashing her foe into the earth, violently exploding the area. The maiden soon landing, standing before him, her cold vision on him.

"You will look for an eternity, and never find your brother. You will lose everything again..." His weak tone.

"Ava, he is just trying to rile you up." The girl's sad voice.

"Lose everything huh, then maybe I should hack away at you until you tell me everything you know..." Glaring at him.

"Ava!" the lavender one calling out to her.

"Look away. As I said, I will do anything to bring my brother home..." Her sword touching down on the land.

I will sully my hands, I will drown in my sins if it means I can bring Dillon back into my arms...

Dabria unable to stop her, horrifyingly looking at the maiden circling the field, hearing the sound from the sword on the earth.

The hazel one quickly detaching from the young woman, moving to the sideline. A pure light shrouding her, taking to her physical form. Her hand on the side of her head, trying to make sense of the situation.

Shortly shifting her eyes to her companion hacking away at the monster's limbs, sealing away his regenerative abilities with their malice. Aiming their blade at his face, his weak eyes to Ava.

"I will commit atrocities if I must, and you know this well. So, I would advise you to tell me even the slightest thing you know on Dillon's location." Her cold tone.

"You...are a monster..." Armdak spitting out some blood.

"Call me what you wish. Whether you talk or not, I will keep progressing towards my goal." Her soft, sinister smile.

My heart is black, and I have accepted this. Even if I gain the hatred of others, it is worth it if I can save Dillon...

The Iconoclast's eyes on the maiden, feeling the weight of her despair. Someone continuously pushing, feverishly seeking after her wish.

A person racing through the dusk, refusing to remain quiet. Dabria's shaky state, slowly moving to her companion.

Ava plunging her sword through her target's skull, crimson liquid splashing on her face. An occurrence leaving blood all over her body, her great fury. From afar, a few in robes watching.

"She is coming along well, and that girl is playing her role as expected..." One looking above.

"Yes, but this is Desdemona we are talking about. What if this backfires?" another glancing behind.

"It won't." The first calmly assuring them.

Mysterious ones in the shadows, their aim for another. Keeping their eye on their goal, steadily proceeding along. Through the streets, objects tipping over, monsters roaming about.

Avalon High in view, the shaky gate. Within the building, blood staining the walls. Echoing screams in the halls, terror in this place.

Far in the back, in the principal's room. A board displaying students, that man in his brown suit. His small smile, shortly crossing out Sasha.

"I wonder...will you return to the top?"

Those in the shadows, their aim towards one. Drawing them into the fiery inferno, increasing the maiden's grief. A person refusing to give in, running along her direction underneath the bleeding moon.

The young woman's fading state, her crimson hair returning. Those azure eyes on the corpse, her normal clothing on her.

Gripping the side of her head, angrily raising her foot. Stomping down on the body, yelling in frustration. Dabria running up to her, pulling away her friend.

"Enough Ava! He's dead!" the pleading girl.

"D—damn them...I—I'll find him, even if I have to lay this place to nothing!" tears in her eyes.

"Ava! Calm down!" Dabria turning the maiden to her.

Hearing the girl's voice, soon falling to her knees. Ava lowering her head, gripping her arms. A sister searching a hellhole, seeking after the slightest clue. Unable to get more out of an enemy, her heavy heart.

Scraping the ground at her side, furiously punching the land. Dabria's sad eyes on her companion, quietly remaining there. The maiden thinking on the past, her mind on the younger days.

A sister the age of twelve, someone in a high security building. Her mind on the past, a person constantly protecting her brother.

Still feeling the stings on her flesh, withstanding her horrible pain. A place confining her, separating her from Dillon. Constantly demanding his presence, those ignoring her.

The girl in a lonely room, sitting on her bed. A laptop there, a phone at her side. Opening the computer, an idea coming to her mind. Picking up her device, texting her younger sibling.

Both eventually downloading an online game, meeting in a vast realm. Typing for hours, the small one wishing to be with her. Ava's assuring words to him, her never ending resolve.

I will break out of here, and I will take you with me far away from these monsters. Don't worry, your big sis has the means to take care of both of us...so just wait...I promise. Those were my words to him...

His message a few months back, a boy needing her. A sister breaking out, refusing a foster home. Wanting to keep one close, refusing to leave him behind. A person cautiously proceeding, her low trust in others.

Living her life hostile to many, searching for one in the shadows. Ava shortly rising from the ground, slowly moving onward. Dabria grimly following at their side, her hand on the maiden's shoulder.

So much does not make any sense, just how long have I been searching...? Why am I familiar with Dabria? I feel like I will be crushed underneath this weight, but I can't let it happen. I have to keep pushing, I cannot give up...
