Finale: Defiant Flames(Part 7.5)

I stand in a field bathing in blood, my enemies corpses everywhere underneath the bleeding light. The flowery place around me, its sinful bliss in the crimson light.

Atlalune an ex-mercenary alone in the field, her enemies burning flesh to her sense. Heavily breathing, blood streaming down her body.

Her eyes ahead, seeing a familiar individual there. Rona, a woman in black armor calmly looking at the young woman.

"How...? How are you alive...?" Atlalune stepping back a bit, scowling at her.

"Aswald's goal is also my goal, so I offered my service from the depths of oblivion." Directing her blade at her former disciple.

"You helped with killing Sol, even now you torment me...!" the ex-mercenary furiously aiming a knife at her.

"It was a necessary step. Atlalune, how long are you going to live in a fantasy? How long are you going to keep falling into the same trap? You keep making the same mistakes that lead us into damnation." Rona shaking her head in pity.

"What would you know? What would you know about coming from absolutely nothing! Finally finding a bit of happiness, and then losing it all again and again! I don't care about the endless conflict, I can accept it if she can live." The young woman furiously standing on her side.

A crying heart yearning for another, a pure soul coming into her life, bringing back her happiness. Everything slipping out of her hands, leaving behind an everlasting fury. A rotating clock materializing in the air, soon fading into the distance.

"Hate me if you must, but what will you do? Can you break the wheel that binds us to this fate? Show me Atlalune, show me your solution." The ex-commander's sharp eyes.

"Rona! I will make you feel the screaming of my soul!" Atlalune burning fury.

The expanding fire, harshly incinerating the area around her. Shortly bursting through the place, clashing against her former commander.

Their flying sparks, circling one another. Pressing their weapons into each other, Rona slightly smiling at her.

"That's right Isa, unleash your fury. Let us dance this death, reveal to me your solution that can shatter the eternal cycle." Her pleasant voice.

"My solution huh..." The young woman's serious vision on them.

Two hearts in the raging darkness, the uncertain turning wheel in the vast plane. Rona stepping back, quickly striking at her target.

Atlalune blocking the attack, feeling the crushing darkness. Her ex-commander piercing through, binding them in heavy malice.

"What is this...?" the young woman uneasily glancing behind.

"You should know by now Atlalune, I am always evolving."

Three long ago together, blissfully relishing in the other's presence. The simple days to Atlalune's mind, the princess scolding her and her ex-commander laughing.

These gripping sentiments, her expanding fire, extending it above. Rona plunging her sword into the earth, malice slashing away at the place, crushing the young woman.

"Farewell Atlalune, I am disappointed that you could not give me your solution." Rona's sharp tone.

My solution? What is the point in going on? I lost everything, but yet...what keeps me bound to this god forsaken existence?

A heart yearning for an answer, kneeling alone in the darkness. A gentle light shining in, her dreadful vision above, seeing Sol's hand towards her.

"Lune, live..." Their soft voice.

Live huh...no...not like this. I am not really alive existing like this, but I can do one more thing...

Raising her hand, taking hold of her partner's own. Releasing the fury in her soul, the stretching white energy from her, taking Rona and herself to a space without time.

The endless void continuously extending, unveiling the anguishing from one. Rona uneasily looking, seeing Atlalune rising to her feet, Siren's talon extending from their arm.

"I am coming, Sol...just a bit longer. There is one thing I have to do for Cyra before I leave..." The knight's gentle voice.

"Don't tell me...you're...are you mad?!" Rona furiously swinging out her arm.

"Maybe, but it is fine...if it means I can be with her in the end. Rona, if you think this is hell, this is just the beginning." Atlalune charging forward.

The blazing fury in her soul, screaming what is resting at her depths. Piercing through Rona, shattering their defense, spilling blood in the distance. Blissful days in her heart, her desire to return to another, revealing her solution to her ex-commander.

Atlalune shredding her target with Siren's talon from every direction, scorching them in her hellish flames. Shortly appearing in front of her enemy, backflip kicking them high into the air.

"Everything, I gave up so much just for this life! And you...you will feel the burning of my soul--!!"

Her crying sentiments, a precious one hearing her. Sadly watching her partner disperse into flames, rapidly striking Rona from every angle, binding them in a fiery prison.

The ex-commander uneasily looking up, seeing Atlalune high in the air, fire extending from their arm above.

The void revealing the crimson moon, its curse shining down its gleam. Immediately descending on their target, grabbing Rona's head with her claw, racing to the land.

"--If you want to witness my solution, then here it is. I will incinerate my soul, and I will continue to burn away at it until you feel my desires!!!"

Speaking what is inside, harshly increasing the flames consuming them. The young woman slamming the former commander into the land, spreading her fire, turning the place into a fiery hell. Her immense force stretching tall, two souls fading away within the Phoenix's embrace.

Deep in the darkness, Sol walking forward. A faint flame slowly disappearing, the person soon standing before it. Extending her hands, taking hold of it, moving the energy to her chest.

"Atlalune, I understand. Whether we are alive or not, we will be together..." The noble-woman's gentle smile.

The fire steadily burning brighter, growing stronger by the moment. Its expanding force, Atlalune shortly standing in front of her partner, wrapping her arms around them.

"Sorry...it took a bit longer than I thought..." The knight's teary voice.

"No, do not apologize..." Sol tightly holding onto them.

This was my solution, to move the wheel in my direction. It matters not what state I am in, so long as I am with her, I will be fine...
