Halloween Special(4): Sinful Melody(Part 2)

I was alone, crying in the silent darkness. My life in shambles, a war tearing everything apart. If only I can take it back, to be there with you in your last moments. I can hear your quiet tears, yet unable to fulfill your wish.

Two souls meeting long ago, their lives once with one another. A war taking everything, sending one into despair. That remaining spirit, someone refusing to quietly remain. Their deep desire, a never ending wish throughout time.

Some passing time, on Halloween night. A few in the woods, these friends relishing in another thrilling year. Isa, Elina, Atlalune, Sol, Ava, Dabria, Cyra, Valor, and Fernandez.

Each in a costume for this night, enjoying the blissful dusk. Hearts meeting again after a tragic parting, their efforts against the Demon of Order.

Putting everything on the line, betting on the young woman's possibility. A demon carrying their wishes, engraving everyone's desires into their foe. These companions with each other on a wonderful night, hearing the rustling leaves around them.

"Ya know, this was hardly a fair vote." Valor hiding behind Cyra, uneasily looking around him.

"Val, should you not be the one to protect me?" her slight smile behind.

"Under normal circumstances? Maybe, but you're not normal." Humorlessly looking at her.

"See Ava? That's a sign you gotta give me more love." Dabria pouting at her.

"You'll be fine." Ava folding her arms, her faint grin.

"Hrrnn..." The lavender one's hand to her chest in disappointment.

"I'm not too much of a fan of horror, but I think I will be fine with Isa." Elina holding onto her partner's arm.

"We're supposed to be headed to an old house, right?" Atlalune's hand to her chin.

"Yep! Rumors have it, that there is a ghost of a woman there. People who go there, they don't come back." Sol raising her index finger, looking to her wife.

"Key words! Don't come back!" Valor's great fear.

Fernandez howling into the night, soon covering his face with his hands. An animal going along with the overall votes, this creature wishing to do something else. Dabria hitting her shoulder against her partner, the goddess soon sighing a bit, shortly wrapping her arm around them.

Stolen novel; please report.

"I'm sure it will be fine, then again, spirit activity is higher on Halloween." Dabria happily pressing against her wife.

"Ya know, dealing with one psychopath was hard enough. I never imagined I would meet so many more..." Valor's dismay.

"I mean, we all have our backgrounds haha." Isa laughing.

A few intertwining souls, these close friends with one another. Each proceeding along their own route, yet making time for small activities. Those companions soon coming across the old house, Cyra feeling the waves of emotions in this place.

Her mind wandering to the past, seeing two meeting underneath the falling autumn leaves beneath the crimson light. One a woman with long black hair and blue eyes, another a man with short brown hair and yellow eyes.

Both descending back on the land, holding the other's hand, their visions to the sky. These purely flowing sentiments, those everlasting feelings.

"You okay, Cyra?" Elina looking to her, placing their hand on their waist.

"The rumors were true..." The demon removing her skull mask, her sad vision to the house.

"Alright, we've learned enough, time to go." Valor flipping up his eye path, pointing his cane behind.

"Given by Cyra's mood, this has officially turned into a job." Isa putting away her hook.

"Why can't we just, I don't know? Go to a petting zoo like normal people?!" Valor's hand on his head, sighing in unease.

"It is because we are not normal people." Sol happily spinning around, her black robe blowing in the wind.

"Either way, I kinda want to help. I am not sure why, but I feel like I can relate to this energy." Atlalune adjusting her cabin hat.

"Just so ya know, if this was a horror movie. Pretty sure I am the one that would be coming out alive..." The god conceding, lowering himself a bit.

"Heh, anyway. If we want to have time left over this night, we should hurry on." Ava ripping off her coat, tossing it into the air.

Everyone looking to her, seeing weapons everywhere on the goddess' black suit. An entity preparing herself, strapping her body with a variety of weapons. An individual learning from her previous mistakes, someone ensuring to correct them.

"Where did you hide all of that?! And that isn't a costume!" Dabria's hands to her chest in shock.

A pure one going about her day, ensuring her corpse dress meets its perfection this dusk. Her partner's decision, the deity taking precautions.

Two souls encountering long ago, their tragic parting with one another. Both enduring the many passing years, eventually returning into the other's arms.

"I decided to improvise, a costume and a bunch of weapons. I do not plan to get blindsided again, even if times are more peaceful." Ava slightly smiling at her wife.

"Ya know, normal women don't go weapon crazy like you do." The hazel one's humorless vision on her companion.

Laughter filling the air, this blissfully terrifying dusk. The moon shining down its light, the young woman shifting her vision above. Raising her hand, her spilling malice.

A deep pulse within her, the floating orb turning red. Its crimson wave on them, revealing the path towards the one in the darkness.

"Why did you change it? Valor looking to her.

"They met underneath the crimson moon. If we are to get through to this spirit, the conditions need to be closer." Her hand on her waist.

"It has been so long since I saw this moon, will he return...?" the woman's hopeful voice.

The few shifting their visions ahead, seeing the spirit sadly looking up into the crimson moon. Fernandez walking forward a bit, flipping up his eyepatch.

Shortly witnessing the ghost facing them, the woman glaring at them. Watching her slowly moving back, soon vanishing into the old house.

"Let us go, we have to face her in her domain." The demon walking ahead.
