An old burning bond, one seeking after another from the past. Their efforts together at one point, two working together, tackling a harsh actuality.
The flowing message piercing the realms, making its way to an old friend. The deity living in a town, this place bursting with life. Many at the plaza, in front the statue of Cyra.
An entity making a lasting impression, someone coming in long ago, bringing a village towards prosperity.
These inhabitant believing in her protection, a small place constantly warding off invading threats.
"Just recently there was a large army that was gonna invade, but just like that. Lightning descended from the heavens, and wiped them all out." A tourist folding his arms.
"It is said this place is underneath the protection of a guardian demon. That statue is supposed to be what she looks like." A woman looking to the figure.
"A demon? What does she require for her protection? A sacrifice?" another man's hand behind his head, his eyes to the statue.
"Nothing of the sort. If anything, it is said that she does enjoy Halloween. So, the people here always throw a large party once a year. Some say they see her on that night." Another woman's hand to her chin.
Blissfully proceeding souls, each doing their part, building up a town towards further prosperity. A place attracting attention, gaining more profit over time.
A young man soon walking in, his blonde hair and red eyes. An individual wearing a white coat, red shirt, and long white pants. Making his way over to the statue, his vision on it.
"You always protect this small place mom, everyone looks really happy though." His slight smile.
"There you are Azad!" a person calling out.
Azad soon turning, seeing a young woman walking up to him. Her long black hair and yellow eyes, a person wearing a white top and short dark jeans. Her clear displeasure, placing her hands on her waist.
"Don't leave me alone, I don't know this place at all." The individual letting out a sigh.
"Ah right, sorry Via." Uneasily smiling, his hand behind his head.
"I swear, you can be a bit absent minded." Shaking her head in disbelief.
"My bad, its been a while since I was last home." Folding his arms.
"Speaking of this place. How does a whole army just up and get annihilated? That cannot be just a disaster, does this town have some kind of nuclear weapon?" positioning her arms in a thinking posture.
"Something like that. There is an absolute zero chance of any successful invasion so long as a certain piece remains on the board." Putting his hands in his coat pockets.
"And how do you know this? Everyone else seem clueless." Via stepping forward, closely looking into his eyes.
"Ah...well, you'll find out soon enough. We should head to my home." Scratching his cheek with his index finger.
"Hmm...very well." Facing away from him, her hand to her chin.
Slightly looking back at him, her suspicious vision on the young man. Two meeting during their time at college, something more growing between them.
Via's sharp instinct, someone quickly fitting together pieces, dismantling the mysteries around her. An individual constantly searching for the truth, not allowing anything to stand in her way towards it.
The two soon continuing onward, making their way towards the back of the town. Heading up a long hill, eventually finding themselves in front of an enormous gate.
"That statue, it is similar to the one in the plaza. It is different, and older though." Via closely inspecting it.
"This has been in the family for years. From what I know, it was left behind by someone grateful." Azad folding his arms.
"Is that so? Wonder why. Anyway, let's head in, I'm curious to meet your parents." The young woman facing him, happily motioning from left to right.
"Haha, yeah." Grinning, his hand behind his head.

Souls going their own way, branching into the vast world. Two meeting in the endless stream, heading off with one another. Through the flowery field, a massive mansion in the back.
On the bottom floor of the building, two standing on the shining granite floor. Statues along the ends, pictures from the old days on the walls.
Cyra in a white coat, black shirt, and short blue jeans. Her partner in front of her, the deity wearing his shining armor.
A small digital device in his hands, the god reading the message, grimly looking at it. A companion long ago calling out to him, desperately needing aid.
"What is it Val?" her hand to her chest.
"I'll be gone a few days, an old friend needs my help." Facing her.
"I will join as well, it must be serious with that old method of communication." Her hand to her chin.
"It is, but don't worry, we will be fine with each other." Folding his arms.
"Can you at least tell me what the trouble is?" gripping her arms in concern.
"It is a world endlessly torn with war. I was there before heading off to fight in Ragnärok, we made a promise to make that world a better place. This time, it looks like it is in an even worse position. He needs my help to find an artifact that can shift the tides." Biting his lower lip.
"Then it would go better with the three of us, we do not know how the world has developed after all of these years." Her clear displeasure.
An entity willing to put aside her stance against taking up arms at times, her desire to keep her life together.
An unsettling sentiment brewing at her depths, watching her companion walk down a dark path. The deity moving up to her, gently taking her hands in his own.
"I am aware, but it is something I have to do myself. We promised a long time ago, that we would start something together and live a simple life. And what's more, you have fought long enough, so all I ask is it to trust in me." His gentle smile to her.
Two close companions, each building on one another. Their many years with one another, believing in the other's possibility. The demon sighing, soon conceding to his request.
"Alright..."
A god steadily returning to his past, his eyes on a companion from the old days. His desire to see them again, wishing to fulfill their promise to one another. These streaming sentiments in the raging waves, a deity reaching after his friend, memories flowing through him.
Rain heavily pouring down in the forest, many trees scattering on the ground. Weapon parts on the land, allies lifelessly everywhere. Elec and Valor kneeling by a large machine, both looking behind them.
"Everything in position?" Elec glancing to his friend.
"Down to the point, now watch the fireworks." Valor raising a device, soon pressing the button.
Their eyes on the approaching enemies, many swarming around them. Countless triggering traps, explosions ripping through the area.
An icy mist spreading in the field, trapping the area in its dreadful cold prison. Shortly shattering the ice, silencing innumerable.
"Nice! You outdone yourself yet again!" Elec happily patting Valor's shoulders.
"I couldn't have done this without your modifications and intel." The deity laughing a bit.
Two hearts laughing in the terrifying war, embracing in a simple moment. Injuries on them, yet their feverishly burning spirits. Those friends shortly finding themselves to a cave, both soon sitting by a fire.
"I've been meaning to ask, but how the hell are you so strong? I've seen you take direct hits that shoulda made you a goner." Elec's hand behind his head.
"Can you keep a secret? I ain't exactly supposed to reveal this stuff." Gesturing his hand to the man.
"Yeah, you know I got your back." Folding his arms, smiling at him.
"I'm a god." Resting his arm over his leg.
"What?! But..why would a god concern themselves with a war like this?" Elec's shock.
"I am just a traveler that got wrapped up in this mess. Meeting you though, and the promise we made, I wanted to see this through to its end." His slight grin at them.
Eternally branding sentiments, two trusting in the other, wishing for a better life in a miserable realm. Valor remembering those days, an old fire setting ablaze within him. The shortly opening door, Cyra and her partner looking to the front, their eyes on Azad and Via walking in.
"I thought you said he was single..." Valor whispering to his wife.
"This is news to me too you know." Glancing to her husband.
"What are you two whispering about?" Azad humorlessly standing before his mother and father.
"Oh nothing-nothing, who is this?" Cyra laughing a bit.
"And while you are at it, use this." Valor tossing a complex chain belt to his son.
"Dad!" Azad gesturing it to the god in disbelief.
"I can see he is a lively one." Via blankly looking at the object.
"Chain below, you'll thank me later." The deity folding his arms.
"I apologize, but Azad traumatized him." The demon's hand on the side of her head, a sigh leaving her.
An unusual encounter to Via, these pleasantly flowing feelings in this place. The young woman laughing a bit, soon shaking her head from left to right. Her eyes shortly fixating on Cyra, noting the striking resemblance from the statues to them.
"Ma'am, you look a lot like the statue in the plaza and the one in front your home." Via's hand to her chin.
"Normally I would not reveal myself to another, but I will make an exception since it is my son." Her hand on her chest.
"Wait, but that would be far beyond the lifespan of a human." The young woman shockingly stepping back.
"That's because we're not humans." Azad looking away, scratching his cheek with his index finger.
Via alarmingly looking to Azad, soon slowly shifting her vision to Cyra and Valor. An enormous weight crushing down at her, her normal world turning upside down in an instant. The person trying to settle herself, her hastily beating chest.
"I'm sorry, I have to cut this short, but I gotta get going immediately. I'll be sure to catch-up when I'm back." The god walking past them.
"Huh? Did something turn up?" Azad looking to his mother.
"Yeah, Valor will be away for a few days. In the mean time, I guess the three of us can go have some fun." Cyra pleasantly pressing her fingers together.
Elec, I hope you are in good health my friend. I am not sure how you are still alive, but I am glad.
