Fleeing the kingdom years ago, those branding her a traitor. Enduring it for years, yearning to find a certain god. Her hatred leading her onward, avoiding those from Valice.
Coming upon a researcher from that kingdom, a problematic situation. Not intending to return, a risky situation to her. Her vision to the noble, seeing those sad eyes of the sun. Visualizing another, biting her lower lip.
"But..." Sol's sad expression, the mage looking away.
Racing through the dusk, fighting many from the Royal Order. Making her escape, eventually getting time to properly grieve. Her great fury, remembering the dark dragon. Searching for them, taking up jobs as a mercenary.
Grasping her wealth, applying it to gain information. Continuously turning up empty, her growing frustrations. Meeting this noble-woman, someone reminding her of an individual from the past, a sigh leaving her.
"So long as I hide my face, there is a chance I can get you there and get out." Her hand to her chin, her eyes to her side.
A bad decision, her awareness on it. Her guiding sentiments, following it in this endless stream. Walking along her path, a slim light paving the road. This quick beating in her chest, reaching for one at the end of the madness.
Taking on a massive gamble, doing so for a similar person. That noble-woman's brightening expression, moving closer to the maiden. Grabbing her arm, happily pressing against her.
"There is something in it for you as well. There is a good possibility that I can get information on Tiamat, likely even narrow it down to their current location." Her bright smile.
These words to the former knight, someone able to gather useful information, requiring that knowledge. Searching for a long time, constantly turning up empty.
Not giving in, yearning to bring meaning to the demise of the princess. A risk having a benefit, needing to go into the heart of the enemy territory. This unnerving her, yet a valuable chance to her.
"Then we can call it even if you can get me that info." Her vision to the researcher.
"Very well, we will call it even and I will cut your pay as compensation." Sol looking away, pleasantly resting her hand on her cheek.
"Hey! That was not part of the deal!" Atlalune rising, facing her.
"Given that I am the only one who is likely to get that info for you. It is worth far more than the money, am I right?" gripping her arms, her clever eyes on the maiden.
"Tch...fine. Get me that info, and all debts are paid." Turning away, folding her arms.
A mage using her weight, throwing it around at key times. Reducing her payment, offering something else in its place. Taking on a problematic individual, a person steadily slipping away.
That researcher rising, running to the front of the maiden. Holding her hands behind her back, leaning a bit closer to the former knight. Those bright eyes of the sun, these familiar sentiments, Atlalune thinking back to her earlier days.
A time long ago, two underneath the setting sun. Their presence out in the city, many inhabitants about. That maiden protecting her companion, guiding her on her ventures. Someone loving the outside, sharing this experience with a person to her heart.
Standing in front of a store, her red top, a black dress wrapping below. Shortly turning to the knight, her hands behind her back. Leaning over to her guard, her clever smile. Unease coming over the maiden, her quickly beating heart.
"I will have you skipping your drills today overlooked, but it will also mean your payment will be cut." Estelle's eyes connecting to the knight's own.
A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
"You set me up..." Her mouth shockingly falling open.
"No, I merely requested your service. Which you could have refused, but you chose to come with me." Pressing her index finger to her cheek.
"Oh, you know you planned this, don't go denying it." Suspiciously looking at the princess, poking their nose.
An individual setting the stage, inviting the maiden along. Her luring words, something more within it. Not thinking much on it, wanting to venture along with her. Her payment for doing so, an extra on top of it.
Someone cleverly fitting together these important events, putting her priority above the maiden's training. That pure one running to the knight's side, happily looping her arm around Atlalune's own.
"Well played, now I am trapped in." Her slight grin at Estelle.
"Hehe." The princess joyously pressing against the knight.
A day still with her, her companion planning her way. Steadily fitting together pieces, cleverly lowering her cost. Not minding, appreciating their time together. Two growing closer over the passing time, an almost inseparable duo.
That princess later trying to compensate her guard, the maiden refusing to take it. These warm feelings to her heart, another playing a similar angle. Using her pieces, carefully moving them into place, getting her best deal.
Estelle, I constantly wish for those times. What I wouldn't give for us to be together again...
Two from different worlds, one from below rising far, encountering another from above. Their unlikely friendship, cherishing those days. Putting up with the princess' shenanigans, that bright individual shining light onto her dark path.
Companions venturing together, enjoying the smaller things. The night eventually fading, the morning sun soon coming in its place. The scent of a certain liquid in the air, that researcher awakening.
Sitting up in her sleeping bag, looking at an iguana brewing something in a kettle over a fire. Her eyes widening in fear, soon screaming out. Atlalune jolting awake, holding a stick in her hand.
Quickly looking around, shortly seeing the creature making something to consume. Her eyes soon to the object in her hand, the maiden tossing it aside, a sigh leaving her. Feeling someone behind her, her vision in the direction.
"D--do something about that monster!" Sol fearfully clinging to her.
"It is just an iguana..." Atlalune nodding in disbelief.
"It is the spawn of great evil!" her hyper voice, desperately shaking the former knight.
"Okay-okay! Give me a moment!" the mercenary trying to settle them.
An individual with her quirks, her fear overtaking her rationality. A similar behavior to another, this unlikely occurrence. Two meeting underneath the bleeding moon, a mission leading to another. Taking on a problematic job, that encounter bringing many old sentiments.
The former knight rising to her feet, making her way over to the animal. Her attention on the coffee, the creature pouring out some, handing it to her. Disbelief from the researcher, watching her guard sitting down with the animal, drinking along with it.
"Don't go having a drink with that demon!" gesturing her hand towards the mercenary.
"Should come and try some, it is actually quite good!" Atlalune raising the mug to her.
"I'd rather die!" tears to Sol's eyes, her hands to her chest.
Concerning with a mission, her straight mind, not deviating from her path. A pure one coming into her life, bringing interesting scenarios.
Not experiencing this for a while, her heart numb to it for a long time. Taking it a bit slow, embracing in this simpleness. The iguana looking to her, shrugging at her, that maiden similarly returning the gesture.
These two taking some time, relishing in the pleasant morning. The creature eventually heading on their way, their day still ahead of them.
That researcher cautiously approaching after a bit, keeping her eyes on her surroundings. Shortly sitting next to her guard, folding her arms in displeasure.
"Want some now?" Atlalune faintly smiling.
"Some normal tea would be fine." Her humorless gaze on the former knight.
"Your loss." Shrugging at the noble-woman.
These pure emotions underneath the morning sun, the gentle breeze around them. The rustling leaves in the distance, smaller animals running along. That mercenary brewing some tea, shortly pouring some for the mage.
This person gripping the cup in both hands, her soft smile. Relishing in its warmth, her calming state. Atlalune soon spreading a map on the ground, determining her path to the Kingdom of Valice.
"We are likely to get barred on the way to the port. So, I suggest we head far East to the ruin. Those individuals there have Titan. If they are taken out, we should be good." Sol tapping down on the location.
"Titan huh...another god. Fine, less enemies, less problems." The former knight's hand behind her head.
Her experience with the previous one, narrowly making it out alive. Still feeling those flames, her unsettling heart. Stealing their strength, her quickly closing wounds. These great powers, her direction towards her goal.
Coming closer to her wish, yearning to bring meaning to the demise of one. These two soon continuing through the woods, walking side by side. The mercenary's mask on her face, her vision to the noble-woman.
"You saw for yourself this morning, iguana conspiracy is real!" the researcher's hands to her chest in determination.
"You are seriously overreacting." The sighing maiden.
"No I am not!" gripping the former knight's arm.
