Chapter 23: Reflecting Halves(Conclusion)

A demon learning much in the dusk, taking these experiences, extending her warm hand to her other half. An individual not accepting it, moving further into the abyss.

A white light leaving the devil's body, the Dark Seraph lunging at them. Cyra taking to her spiritual state, flowing along the many lines. Shortly appearing above, rendering her foot across her opponent's face.

"Ugh...!"

Rose crashing into the ground, her eyes above. The maiden expanding her wings, her blade above. Meeting another in the endless plane, coming at them with her strongly burning heart.

Descending on the Dark Seraph, flying towards the slim possibility. Rose rolling to her feet, immediately dashing away. Cyra colliding into the land, breaking it apart, rubble rising above.

The entity looking at the young woman, seeing another in the shadows, crimson eyes piercing through. A chilling feeling rushing down her spine, someone commanding divinity and malice. The devil dispersing her wings, pure feathers scattering on the floor.

"Even if I break again, I will not leave you behind this time..." Standing straight, the maiden's solemn tone.

Malice flowing from the young woman, its great pressure crushing down on the Dark Seraph. One from the shadows, the power of the Iconoclast eroding the surroundings. Swinging her blade to her side, her crouching stance. Rose readying herself, her sharp vision on the maiden.

Rebellion and Reviver crying out, their energies flowing around one another. Bursting through, the Bringer of Demise leaping to the air. Their sword over their shoulder, sharply looking at their other half. Striking down, the entity blocking the attack, enduring its crushing force.

"Funny really, how you were the one to get that power." The Dark Seraph's mild tone.

A single being damning the worlds long ago, choosing to seal away their memories. A great force coming again years later, flowing through the weaker half. A person rising to their challenges, enduring the damage on her psyche.

The maiden shortly breaking away, standing a few feet from her other half. Darkness crashing against the surroundings, a demon racing along her black route.

"This is the power we once held, and I will use it to carve a future with you in it." Cyra's hand to her chest.

"No, that will be a future without you, Iconoclast." Rose's sharp vision.

"If that is your wish, then it will come after we put our feud to a close." Her calm tone.

A never stopping heart, the young woman's determination to reach her other half. Running in the dusk, racing after one in the shadows. These two hearts before one another, both refusing to back down. Cyra's hasty movements, her blade closing in from behind.

Rose instantly blocking the attack, their serious eyes on each other. The maiden slightly pulling away, harshly sweeping her sword in an uppercut. A massive force rendering the surroundings asunder, shattering the Dark Seraph's guard.

"Gyah...!!"

Rose sliding back on her feet, enduring the immense pressure on her. An individual feeling the crushing sins, these countless emotions. A person once filling with joy, sorrow eventually consuming them.

An individual seeking after their wish, yearning to bring another along with them. A soft heart still existing, wrapping others in their warmth. A great wrong weighing on the maiden, her desire to make it right with her other half.

"It is over, Rose."

An individual appreciating the Dark Seraph, the entity looking over the maiden. That heart in the darkness, moving further into her despair. Cyra running forward, screaming out to them.

Rose shaking her head in refusal, wrapping herself in thick blackness. Her mind on her goal, reaching for the endless sky. The young woman approaching her other half, her calm vision.

"No...not yet, not when I am so close...!" Rose lowering her head.

Her great frustration, many ill feelings flowing through her. A person unable to surpass the weaker half, an individual massively growing in the dusk.

A way still existing, the Dark Seraph's eyes on it. Rose expanding her wings, ascending into the air. The maiden sorrowfully looking up at her other half, her hand to her chest.

"Maria...I have my own desire, and so do you..." Rose slightly looking away.

"Rose...please, no more of this. I do not wish for our conflict..." Cyra's sad voice.

"I am aware, but so long as I am bound to you, I will never be free." Biting her lower lip.

A great desire within the Dark Seraph, someone flying towards her goal. Her actions through the dusk, yearning to break free from her other half. Sadness within her, these two linking together with one another.

Her wish for Cyra to be away from the danger, yet a war at its deciding time. A heart desiring to escape their shackles, opposing their many obstacles, yet extending a guiding hand to the maiden.

"Am I...really just chains to you...?" the demon gripping her arm, lowering her head.

"Never-mind that. Maria, no...Cyra. You do not need me anymore, but if you wish to persist. Then come, the next time we meet in battle, it will be our last." Rose's sad tone.

Raising her head, looking at her other half. The maiden seeing a slight smile from them, shortly watching Rose head off deeper into the place. Black feathers raining down, blanketing the area in its warmth.

Cyra extending her hand, catching a feather in her palm. Her eyes on it, seeing it slowly disintegrate. Taking on this great weight, feeling her other half's sentiments. From behind, her guardian there. The individual facing away, folding their arms.

"I see now. You are me Rose, and I am you. You are the side I ran from, but I will not do so any longer. I will face you, and make you see you are not alone." Her mild tone.

Two halves reflecting one, each proceeding down their path. One moving further into the darkness, their desire to break away from the young woman.

The other one understanding, her mistake leading to this result. A way existing to reach her other half, the maiden betting on the possibility. Shifting her attention onward, carrying a powerful fire inside of her.

"Rose, I will break those chains on you, and we will both soar together." Cyra walking onward.

Rose, I will not abandon you this time. I will not run this time, and I will face you even if my psyche breaks. You protected me, you guided me, and now it is my turn to be there for you. For now, I will confront Hades. However, the next time we meet in battle, I will get these emotions across to you.
