Chapter 1: Demon Contract(Conclusion)

Times from the past, those relishing in the freeness of the wind. Guiding ignorance, following along in their path. Vast lands, animals roaming around. A town in view, the quiet night. That bleeding moon shining down its light, a park within its embracement. Some trees lining the sides, a walkway in view. A playground not far from there, this gentle blowing breeze. Isa sitting on a bench, her black hair reaching long, tying at the base. Her crimson vision, her light complexion. A dark coat on her, a white shirt on top. Jeans extending down, its dark color.

This chilling night, relishing in it. Gazing above, her eyes on the velvet moon. An object signaling the presence of one, beauty within it. Leaning forward a bit, resting her arms on her legs. Enjoying these surroundings, another day at an ending. Working jobs for a church, defeating her foes. Having little time, enjoying these moments. Movements in her direction, another from afar. Ceasing her action, a bit surprising of this. Not expecting someone at this hour, that one continuing onward. Shortly standing before the maiden, their meeting visions. Those azure eyes, her hazel hair flowing long. A red shirt on her, her short blue jeans.

"Do you mind if I sit here as well?" her hand to her chest, curiously questioning.

"Help yourself." Isa sitting straight, moving over a bit.

This friendly person, a most welcoming encounter. Sitting down at the maiden’s side, the girl looking above. A difference in the air, Isa meeting countless over her years. Witnessing many colors, choosing to distance herself. Requirements of a job, importance in hostility. A strange individual with her, unable to put her finger on it. Slightly looking away, this shifting evening. Expecting a night on her own, embracing the quiet dusk. Someone else coming along, joining her. A bit of awkwardness between them, that hazel one looking to her side, scratching her cheek with her index finger.

"I'm Elina by the way..."

"Isa. To be honest, did not expect anyone else at this time." That maiden glancing to her.

"Hm hm, same here. I was just out for a stroll, this is where I come to sit." That girl's attention on her.

"I see...I wouldn't know, since I am mostly out on a job."

Differences of individuals, schedules not the same. A slim chance, their intersecting lives. One constantly out, performing her duties. Not resting much, relishing in this spot on occasions. This cold night, someone else at the same time. Unable to identify this one, a foreign feeling. Niceness in it, embracing in this simpleness. Venturing far, defeating her foes. Improving herself, ascending the ranks. A reliable person, believing in her path. Words of interest to this girl, her finger pressing against her cheek. Wanting to know more, innocence from this one.

"What do you do?" brightly smiling at her.

"Whatever the church asks me to do. Since I am mostly combat, I go basically everywhere." Gesturing her arm to the girl.

"Maybe that is why I never saw you, I just run some errands for the church around these parts." Elina lowering her hand.

"Indeed, our lives would be unlikely to meet." That maiden holding the back of her head.

Unlikeliness in their meeting, their different tasks. One remaining within the walls of this town, another going far. Interacting with many, not forming personal connections. Pointlessness in it, her dangerous jobs. Her mindset on this, proceeding forward. Her sharp view, encountering numerous. True colors to her gaze, arresting some. Never ending problems, this to her attention. Two chatting away the time, joy from this girl, a bit of ease to the young woman. The late time, Elina standing from the bench, facing that maiden.

"Do you want to meet up tomorrow morning?" she curiously questions, her hands to her chest.

"I suppose I have the time." Faintly smiling at that one.

"Then let's meet at the Shopping District!" excitement from her.

A joyful individual, her shimmering grin. This surprising turn in events, niceness in it. Mysteries in existence, possibilities out there. None able to truly predict them, a chance of an encounter. Those crimson eyes to her left, witnessing the girl heading on her way. Facing her attention above, that bleeding moon shining down its light. A curse for some, enlightenment for others. Some passing time, the young woman rising from her seat. An ending to a night, this one leaving the area. Morning coming, meeting that girl in the Shopping District. Stores along each end, people loudly about. This innocent one, her shining smile. A grey shirt on her, her short black jeans.

A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.

"So, what is it you want to do?" Isa holding the back of her head.

"Let's hit up all the stores, and we can grab something to eat when we are done." That girl turning from the maiden, delight from her.

"Ah...it is just shopping, not the apocalypse." Sighing from the young woman.

Strangeness of this to her, never having the moment. Continuously on one job to the next, grabbing the necessities. Some time to herself, this day with another. Meeting the previous night, that extending to their current day. Flowing streams, pureness in these moments. Many learning to enjoy it, some unable in experiencing it. That girl facing the maiden, her frowning expression. Confronting her, her hands on her waist. Her high posture, this weird individual. Normalcy in life, trivial problems. Uncertainty from the young woman, stepping back a bit.

"Oh where is your spirit?"

"Don't have one, sorry." Her hand covering her face.

"Well then, someone will have to find one." Elina’s humorless gaze.

"God help me..." Isa slightly flinching.

Differing shades of life, those living it in their own excitement. Smallness of it, embracing in its simpleness. Extreme views, stretching it along a vast plain. Living within their shelter, safety in it. Some proceeding in their ignorance, others stepping beyond. Colors from many, pureness from few. Meeting this one, a first of it for her. Those hands of the girl gripping her own, pulling her onward. Numerous places to visit, options towards them. Following this person from one location to another, speechlessly witnessing her energy. Grabbing one thing after the next, stacking it on the maiden. Those two outside, the warm sun on them. That young woman up to her neck in baggage, this new experience.

"What in the world are you going to do with all of this?" sighing from Isa.

"After I throw out some of my old stuff, I will decide at that point." That girl facing the young woman, brightly smiling.

"I think you might want to see a therapist..." Disbelief from the maiden.

"Oh hush, I just have a habit of buying stuff." Turning away, firmly holding down her hands in some embarrassment.

Faintly smiling, an energetic one. Meeting her underneath the light of the crimson moon, two intersecting lives. Unlikeliness in it, strangeness of the timing. Fineness with it, enjoying this day. Innocence in existence, this rare occurrence. Continuing onward, afternoon upon them. Finding themselves at a diner, sitting across from one another by the window, their baggage at their sides. Menus in their hands, flipping the pages. Someone coming around, both ordering. Remaining there, awaiting their meals. A tiring day, never expecting this. Missing out on some things, that maiden realizing this.

"So, when do you head out again?" the girl holding her arm.

"In three days, but this is not a long one. I just have to eliminate a creature in the next town." That young woman resting her arms on the table.

"Isn't it difficult to constantly be moving about?" Elina looking down a bit.

"Sometimes it is, like now. It makes me think how much I miss out on." Softly smiling.

"I see, I suppose that makes sense..." Sadness from her.

Her way in living, continuously venturing out. Missing out on simpleness, this day bringing such to her awareness. A bit saddening, but her fineness with it. Directing her path, firmly following through with her beliefs. Ascending the ranks, reliableness of her. Those two chatting away the time, their food shortly arriving. The young woman taking a bite, those blending flavors. Spiciness setting in, intensifying the moment. Quickly grabbing her glass of water, chugging it down. That giggling girl, warning her beforehand. Sighing at this, her fault in it. This passing day, sundown upon them. Residing in front of Elina's home, facing away from the innocent one.

"I had fun today." Elina's hands behind her back, faintly smiling.

"I suppose it wasn't bad." That maiden holding the back of her head, slightly looking away.

"Maybe we can meet up again at some point?" the hazel individual curiously pressing her index finger against her cheek.

Enjoying this day, experiencing it with someone else. Some turns no less, mistakes as well. A night drawing two to the presence of one another, a meeting underneath the light of the blood moon. A curse of an object, shining down upon many. Those warning of it, others finding something more in it. A friendship forming from this, lives crossing one another. Learning of the other, an outing together. This quickly ending day, saddening in it. Wanting more time, hope in those azure eyes. That maiden thinking for a bit, a bond between the two, this nice feeling.

"Well, I still have some time before I depart." Folding her arms.

"Oh? Then maybe mid afternoon tomorrow?" that girl's hands to her chest.

"Heh, sure."

"I am holding you to it." Facing away, firmly holding down her hands, her head a bit above.

A handful of this one, constantly pushing ahead. This pleasant day, enjoying it, two faintly smiling at the other. Flowing streams, countless endlessly riding along. Parting ways, unaware of possibilities. Those moments crossing at times, creating a new world. Connecting paths, hearts uniting in its bliss. That girl moving down her walkway, passing through her gate. Facing the young woman, closing the object. Waving her off, brightness from the hazel one. Turning away, heading towards her home. This tall building, a garden on both sides.

You were such a handful, but...that was just you. A bright, cheerful girl. It makes me think, what would have happened if I decided to stay home that night. Nonetheless, I am sorry for what I have brought upon you. I am coming, Elina...
