Racing through the morning, the knight fighting through many. Enduring wounds on her body, her goal in mind. Yearning to make it back to Valice, her hasty heart.
One in her mind, going nonstop. Eventually finding her way to a port, demanding the fastest vessel back. Those around wanting to assist, her refusal towards it.
Urging them to the destination, her growing unrest. Taking a bit of time on the ride, tending to some of her injuries. Arriving at her location at night, fire ripping away at the city.
Her trembling eyes at the sight, quickly descending to the ground. Running past the countless bodies, hearing panic everywhere.
"I should not have left her unprotected..." Atlalune's unease.
Fear gripping at her, wondering on her companion's state. This chaotic situation, the increasing flames. The intensifying heat, her mind on finding them.
The maiden coming towards the center of the city, her widening eyes. Estelle lying on the ground, heavy injuries on her. That dark dragon standing over her, the knight screaming out to her.
Her shifting eyes to the beast, her great rage. Lunging at it, her knife in hand. That foe pressing down, flying off into the air.
Dropping her weapon on the ground, watching it soaring into the dusk. Shaking away the moment, running to the princess. Kneeling to her, lifting her within her arms.
"Estelle! Come on! Open your eyes!" desperately calling out to her.
Breaking through her enemies, rushing back. Hoping to make it in time, this situation before. Her uneasy heart, feeling the flames around her. Trying to awaken this precious person to her, someone reacting a bit.
The maiden slightly settling, Estelle weakly focusing her vision on the knight. This individual returning from an unlikely mission, some ease to her.
"I guess...you can do anything you put your mind to..." Mildly smiling at her.
"That is not important. Stay conscious, I'll get you medical attention." The maiden's unease.
"You and I both know...with these injuries, I won't make it in time..." Her steadily fading voice.
"D--don't say that now..." Atlalune lowering her head.

Wishing to believe in the tiniest chance, Estelle aware of it. A person able to turn the smallest possibility into an actuality, yet this being something beyond her. This individual before the princess, her soft smile.
Extending her hand, resting it on the knight's cheek. The maiden moving her hand over her companion's own, their eyes on one another.
"What I wouldn't give...for one more chance. Thank you, Atlalune..."
Hearing her words, witnessing her fading presence. Feeling her slipping away, that princess shortly no more, her falling arm.
Tears in the maiden's eyes, tightly gripping her companion's body. Quietly sobbing, her target in mind. A beast flying away in the dusk, a dark dragon.
A god setting fire to Valice, taking the life of someone pure. Some movements in the knight's direction, her vision shifting ahead. Rona standing there, pointing at her.
"I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't do the search myself. Atlalune Reizewind, you are hereby charged with treason. In your room we found the papers for the invasion. It covers many things, including the god that attacked, and even the death of princess Estelle." Her stern eyes.
"That is impossible, I just came back after finding out this was all a diversion in Laquel. I had a hellish time getting back to try and save Estelle!" setting down the princess' body.
"I would like to believe you, but what we gathered here is too much against you. As such, your punishment is execution." Rona facing away from her.
This unbelievable situation to her, trying to carefully think about her movements. Everything back to this point, a diversion keeping her away. Making it through her enemies, evidence falsely on her. Her crumbling life, sinking away into the darkness.
One thing still remaining, the rage in her heart. Needing to find that dragon, refusing to die there. Standing up, watching her ex-commander heading on her way. Many knights steadily nearing her, their weapons aiming at her.
"If you think I will die before Estelle's death has meaning, you're sorely mistaken..." Pulling out two knives.
Instantly losing everything, a plan completely crushing her. Turning her former allies against her, their belief in her treachery.
Her words unable to convince them, this not mattering to her. Her fury inside, that beast in her mind, a dragon flying into the distance. One always changing locations, her awareness on it. Needing to find it, yearning to sever its life.
Clashing against those people, spilling blood in the dusk. Her feverish path, swiftly moving around them. Forcing through them, her sounding soul. At this moment, a bright light leaving Estelle's body.
This energy floating over to an area with rubble, its glowing light, disintegrating the objects. Sol lying there, her enormous injuries. The struggling noble-woman, blood everywhere around her.
That force descending into her, merging with her soul. Filling the missing pieces, combining into one. The mage awakening, her eyes of the sun.
Her wounds no more, not feeling any pain. Sitting up, confusingly looking at herself. Her vision shortly to the fire around her, the researcher soon standing on her feet.
All the while, Atlalune riding a ship out of Valice. Her eyes on the many sinking ships, her decision to stop their pursuit.
And so, my mission began. To find Tiamat, the dragon that killed Estelle. That was all that mattered, it was all I could do. Our journey might have had a terrible beginning, but it has led to an end I can be proud of. And now, I will finally have the chance to complete my goal.
