Everyone's eyes to her, the airship fast approaching the land. The brightly shimmering weapon, the vessel crashing onto the outer surface of a volcano, an enormous explosion ripping through the area.

Zephyr eventually awakening in the remains of the airship, soon standing up. Alicia and Aaron unconscious next to the other, the lion walking up to them. Inspecting them, shortly sighing in relief.

"No matter how much you rise, I will always be higher. Take solace, that my victory will guide the world onward!" the deity smashing his claw into the land.

"Zephyr!" Alicia calling out.

A voice to him, that king looking back, witnessing his two friends coming in. These individuals shortly standing with him, their injuries on them. Once walking a lonely path, seeking after a deity from the past. His guiding hatred, carrying it for years. An enormous burden on his own, his great sorrow. These people with him, aiding him in his struggle.

"If you all wish to die with this abomination, then so be it. I have no right to deny you such." Valos shaking his head in pity.

"Zephyr..."

A pure light washing over the area, the lion's vision onward, seeing Rozalin taking form. The young woman looking at her old friend, her warm smile to him. That king stepping forward, his two companion's looking at her. A soul with another, watching from the shadows. Witnessing his path, seeing his pain. This moment before them, wanting to ease his troubles a bit.

"You have come this far...allow me to assist you, like you have done for me..." Her soft voice to him.

"What can a mere spirit do?" Valos smashing his tail against the earth.

A heart returning to the surface, yearning to assist one of importance. Remaining in silence for years, showing again for a few moments. Glancing back to the dragon, her serious eyes on him. Facing the mighty beast, her hands to her chest.

A piercing white light shining far, this force wrapping around him. Her spirit riding along the surrounding waves, circling the god. Black roses sprouting from the land, covering the entire field. Zephyr's vision above, seeing her on top the deity's head, her gentle grin to him.

"Wh—what did you do...?" Valos' unease.

"Valos, you only see your own vision. Yet, you cannot see how others can value one another...this will be your downfall." Rozalin frowning at him.

A dusk of black roses, her sentiments within. These flowers on their last night, a meaningful event to two. Wanting to relish in more days together, unable to do so. Internalizing the meaning, keeping it in her. Unleashing it in this moment, binding her target in an unbreakable force.

That king stepping forward, urging his friends to stay back. Those two watching him, seeing his glowing body. His direction to go forward, racing towards the end of his path. Raising his head, slightly parting his mouth.

Generating a divine sword, this weapon stretching long. His flowing energy, crushing his surroundings. Biting down on the hilt, spreading his stance. Locking onto his enemy, lunging forward.

The deity's unease, this powerful influence over him, his weakening strength. Piercing through the deity from every direction, shortly standing from a distance behind. Leaping high, his massively shining white sword.

Crashing it down at his opponent, splitting the area asunder, shredding the land. Enveloping the beast in pure light, putting an end to the conflict. Shortly descending, touching the earth. That lion's eyes on his companion, seeing her fade away, her worrying vision.

The king aware on his route, shifting his attention to the disaster all around him. The island breaking apart, massive waves of lava steadily closing in on the three. The unstable wind, parts rapidly flying everywhere.

"D—dammit...what now...?" Aaron's unease.

"I guess...this is to be expected." Alicia lowering her head.

The night sky, that beautiful crimson moon shining down. His attention on a space ahead, soon seeing the Iconoclast materializing in front of him.

"Your choice has been made, I presume?" her hand on her waist.

"Yes, but I do have one request. If you will allow this selfish one." Folding his arms.

"And that is?" her hand to her chin.

Losing a precious individual, his heart consuming in rage. Seeking after a single target, feverishly doing so without end. Enduring many hardships, awakening to nightmares.

Yearning for the older times again, those days not of a possibility. Eventually succeeding, something more growing within him. That entity witnessing it, seeing those individuals come together against a common foe.

"My friends...Alicia and Aaron. Ensure they return home safely, and away from any punishment."

These precious friends to him, their small time together creating valuable memories. Wanting to protect them, their efforts towards aiding him. His time no more, knowing it for a while. Those two still having much more out there, that hope in them both. The Iconoclast thinking on his request, a simple parting wish.

"Very well, you will enter into a Demon Contract with me." Folding her arms.

"I accept." His fist over his chest.

Yet, a faint bit of light lingering inside. That gleam leading him onward, the being seeing it. Invoking a dark pentagram, those ancient symbols on it. His agreement towards it, the steadily fading seal.

"Now, there is someone waiting for you." Faintly smiling at him, gripping her arms.

Hearing her words, his slightly shaking vision. Feeling the gentle breeze against him, his quickly beating heart. Facing behind, his eyes on Rozalin. That individual a few feet away, his slow steps to her. Her warm smile to him, that king embracing her, tightly holding her in his arms. Those years apart, hoping for another moment to come.
