Chapter 8: Those to the Heart(Conclusion)

Warmth in the past, those following along in its streaming waves. Once steeling herself, hardening her heart. A cold individual, yet brilliantly guiding others. Leading many, her branding messages. Focusing on her path, moving through the ranks. Diligently proceeding, never relenting. Gaining recognition, not caring for this. Serving underneath the church, a weapon in their hands. Her willingness to carrying through, this once of her life. A commander's words, upsetting at first. Enragement at his action, someone demoting her. Slowly clarifying this over the passing time, one doing enough.

Her new direction, a more fulfilling way. Something eventually coming to her attention, words from her companion. Searching information, finding points of interest. Unable to shake away her troubles, needing to know. Shifting records, a security measure. Little time with her, this happening upon their leader's arrival. A day remaining, her vision ahead. Ascending those stairs of the cathedral, heading in once more. Passing by some members, carefully proceeding. Returning below, none residing there. Thinking for a bit, this risky situation.

Checking on intervals, glancing to the clock on the wall. A session no more, this of her moment. Proceeding onward, finding herself in front of the door. Taking out the disrupter, that partner giving it to her. Attaching it to the inputs, that discharging device, a signal changing to green. Entering into the room, finding herself amongst this information again. Heading towards the back, residing in front of the wall. Carefully scanning it, trailing her eyes along the length. Something catching her attention, walking to her right. Moving aside some binders, a crimson button. Pressing it, that shaking area. Stepping away, the turning shelf. Another room to her attention, her serious gaze.

"A hidden part of the room. They probably moved the files in there..." Suspecting this.

Missing this detail, secrecy in plain sight. A security measure, an impressive method. Proceeding onward, entering in. Shelves of knowledge on both sides, making her way through, hastily progressing. Grabbing one after the next, quickly scanning them. Picking up information, connecting the pieces from before. This chilling situation, actions over the years. Standing at the front, a table before her. Documents there, searching through. Her trembling eyes, her partner's finding.

"So, those opposing the church are branded criminals as she said. Then others near them are affected. This has happened in numbers far too much to be coincidental. I think I am making sense of those other files now. While some information is missing, this is enough..." Sharpness from her.

Faithfully serving this church, believing in their ideals. Those sullying it, this enraging her, her quickly beating chest. Diving deeper, unraveling mysteries. Limitation on access, awareness on the reason. Atrocities underneath her nose, one never allowing for it. This not mattering for the individual, strongly carrying her beliefs. Continuously searching, these piling cases. A pattern in it, unable to fit together the purpose. Time not with her, quickly leaving the area. Finding her way to her companion's home, those two in the living room. Sitting down on the couch, that girl beside her. Her sleeveless white top, her grey shorts. Distressing knowledge, that maiden's shaking fists, this infuriating her.

The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.

"You were right...much more than you knew..." Her hand at the side of her head, scowling at her findings.

"You mean..." Elina trembling.

Information racing through her mind, those moving around knowledge, concealing themselves. Cleverness from them, uncertainty in handling this. Her illegal methods, their grand influence. Those making a mockery of their ideals, engaging in atrocities. This tremendous weight, everything over her years. Venturing to other lands, bringing down innumerable. Corruption within, never thinking on this. That coming leader, importance in his confession. Not standing for this, returning into the field of fire. Pieces of her blade, her hasty heart.

"I cannot allow this mockery to continue. Armand will be here tomorrow, and I will confront him about it." Her solemn tone.

"And if he admits to it...?" unease from her.

"Then he is but an enemy to our ideals, and I will not stand for it." Clenching her fist.

"Isa...this is an extremely high level offense..." That quivering girl.

Her awareness on it, a treasonous action. Turning her blade against their leader, importance in her success. Not wishing to proceed, these shifting circumstances. Tormenting emotions, these rising sentiments. Her decisive direction, not standing for this. Corruption for a long time, files identifying the problem. Those secluding it, sense in this conclusion. None other knowing, following along in their guidance. Never questioning it, deceit behind a kind face, this crushing situation on her. Years of her service, aiding in it, her displaying anger.

"I am aware, but I will not stand for anyone who insults the ideals we carry. You know this..." Glancing to her.

"I know...please, just be-careful..." Looking away, holding her arm.

An individual cherishing her beliefs, proceeding in her path. That hazel one unable to stop her, their decision towards tomorrow. Her target in mind, necessity to shine light to this darkness. Selfishness within, progressing in her way. Her burning resolve, not allowing for this mockery. Concerning her partner, not wanting to do so. Rising from the seat, that innocent one looking at her. Two standing in an abyss, that maiden ahead, her back towards Elina. Walking down her direction, heading towards another. Pieces of her blade, her high emotions. Racing after the young woman, screaming out to her. Not able to reach her, this endless path.

I made my decision...that I would confront Armand with this. And if this is with his confirmation, I will not hesitate to strike him down. That selfishness...it led to Elina's capture. When I lost everything, I truly realized...what was most important. Elina, I will be there soon...
