Her childhood friend Raphael, this one doing everything he can. Trying to discover a weakness in the eternal night, wanting to bring back the daylight.
That Dragon of Darkness being more of a shy one, speaking extensively to the Prince of Dragons. That man gaining the title God of War, crushing countless nations.
Those days of the past, stalling for time. Eventually confronting his dear friend, two coming together after a bit of an awkward moment.
Rumors spreading amongst the dragons, believing the friendship of the two is more than a simple one. Right before the events of the endless night, Raphael approaching his companion.
Wishing to propose, everything slipping away. Now, those two once again together at the depths of the maiden.

My attention soon ahead, close I am, I can see it. That light at the end of this abyss, my feet moving onward. Running down this dark path, shadowy hands trailing me.
These things wrapping around me, my hands ripping away at them. Screaming out, freeing myself from their grasp. Rushing forward, reaching for what is within.
