Chapter 3: Differing Realities(Part 3)

The young woman thinking on certain points, tracking these strange developments. An almost useless device, her mind on the school's computers. Passing by the students, seeing the front page. Many typing, yet nothing happening.

Ava's growing unease, the maiden reflecting back to the woman, their words to not trust anyone making more sense. Shortly grabbing her sword by the desk, soon heading out into the dusk.

Once again underneath the crimson moon, a town in ruin. The smell of blood in the air, movements in the distance. Echoing screeches, scraping along the walls.

"It feels like I am living two different realities at the same time, what does this mean...? I should find that woman and fast..." The maiden's hand to her chin.

I was so concerned with finding information on my brother, that I did not notice the most obvious clue. The question is, how can I use this knowledge to go forward? Whenever I find out one thing, countless more questions pop up...

Townspeople going on with their day, not venturing out after the setting sun. Monsters roaming in the night, a place in ruin.

Students with their blank computer screens, their lively voices with one another. These discrepancies to the young woman, answers possibly in the dusk.

Ava proceeding onward, hiding behind vehicles. Fiends slithering by, none noticing her. Shortly moving into an alley, bracing back against the wall.

Peeking out, her hasty heart. Feeling a hand on her shoulder, alarmingly gripping her sword. Instantly turning, Dabria smiling at her.

"Hehe, scared weren't you?" brightly smiling at the maiden.

The nerve of this girl, I almost took her head off...

Terror in the dusk, one venturing through its horrors. Ruin around her, her unsteady heart. Another in the night, someone relishing in bliss.

Ava lightening her hold on her weapon, some anger in her eyes. Folding her arms, strictly looking at Dabria.

Unease from the girl, the person gripping her arms. A point catching the young woman's attention, the lavender one's calm behavior.

"Why are you out this late? You know what is out here." Ava sighing.

"I saw you once again, and wanted to help a friend. Two minds are better than one you know." Holding down her hands, slightly turning from left to right.

Once again twisting her words, making it difficult to refuse. Still...why is she so calm out here?

A town with two sides, bliss in the day, terror in the night. Mysteries along each end, smaller points alerting Ava. A sister seeking after her younger brother, wishing to bring him back into her arms.

Decay all around her, holes in buildings. Trees extending from some, vehicles in a bad state. Rubble everywhere, blood thickly in the air. A girl not phasing by it, her suspicious behavior.

The maiden carefully watching their movements, seeing Dabria walking in front of her. The person holding her hands to her chest, brightly looking to the sight above.

"Isn't this a lovely night?" smiling back at the young woman.

"Uh...yeah...I guess..." Ava's hand behind her head.

Lovely? This place is a hellhole. What a weird thing to say, or maybe it is just normal to her...

"You really do not know how to appreciate things huh..." Turning to her friend, frowning a bit.

"Well excuse me, but I do not have a positive outlook on life." Gesturing her hand to the girl.

Her mind on the person, carefully listening to their words. Fiends lurking in the darkness, ruin everywhere. The young woman's uncertainty, her uneasy heart on the happenings in the dusk.

The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings.

A town falling apart in the night, revealing monsters after the setting sun. Falling debris, rubble crashing into the ground.

The girl not noticing, Ava's increasing unrest. The hazel one's softening expression, running up to her friend's side. Looping her arm around the maiden's own, her shining smile.

"Oh well, around me, you will learn to appreciate life." Proudly raising her index finger.

"Great and all, but...it is likely I will end up fighting, we should not be this close." Breaking away from the girl.

"Oh come on, that was probably like one in a million the last time. This could be a nice nightly outing for us." Dabria blushing a bit, grinning at the possibilities.

"Ah...no..." Ava holding in her frustration.

I have to get to that woman and fast, the longer I am in this town, the more strange it becomes. I wish I could trust Dabria, but...I just do not know...

A girl's suspicious behavior in this nightmare, a cruel dusk revealing challenges in the shadows. Two in the darkness, Ava walking along her path, keeping her eye on her brother. Another from afar, the hazel person's hands to her chest.

Howling in the distance, crimson eyes piercing through the blackness. Ava urging the girl to follow, both shortly moving onward.

Eventually finding themselves at an intersection, moldy beasts and lamias leaving nearby buildings. Crushing the window pieces, their growling and hissing.

"I am beginning to question what goes on in this place at night..." Dabria holding her hands to her chest.

"Took you long enough. Try and keep your distance, but stay close as well. My movements are limited to your location." Ava warning, her stern vision.

"R—right..." The pale girl.

I wonder...do people here simply live in ignorance? But...that does not explain the warning. I feel like if I overthink this, I will never get a proper answer...

Four enemies steadily surrounding them, their salivating mouths, those sharp fangs. Claws scraping nearby objects, knocking over some tools. Another with the maiden, this risky situation.

Ava extending her sword, locking onto the creatures. A bright person in the town, someone purely flowing along. The maiden's uncertainty to trust them, questions grabbing at her.

Two lamias rushing at them from opposite ends, the moldy beasts descending from above. The young woman instantly hurling her blade to the air, impaling one monster, their echoing screech. Swiftly turning, lifting the girl within her arms.

Ava dashing away, avoiding the collision from the rest. The cracking land, rubble flying high. Her eyes on the falling monster, the maiden's blade within it, blood flowing out of it.

Setting down the girl, Ava visualizing a path. Running forward, the lamias extending their hands. Shadowy arms piercing the ground, hastily approaching the young woman.

Ava leaping from one end to the next, a massive monster charging at her. Immediately jumping once more, pressing her foot on its head. Ascending even higher, her eyes on her sword.

Dabria's unrestful heart, watching her friend diving to their blade. Gripping it from the struggling fiend, slicing upward, cutting them in two.

The remaining three charging at the young woman, Ava facing them. Her foes in a straight line, her vision on her opportunity. Throwing her sword, sticking it into a lamia's chest.

Instantly bursting through, rendering her foot into the hilt. Impaling the other two, their shrills in the dusk. The few falling below, blood seeping out from them.

The maiden slowly moving towards them, her cold eyes on them. Shortly standing before the monsters, glaring down at the three.

"Should have thought twice before attacking." Gripping the handle of her sword.

Twisting her weapon, agony from her foes. The shaking girl, seeing the young woman's cruelty again. A person torturing her enemies, revealing her black soul.

An individual paving her way, crushing those beneath her. Ava pushing her sword deeper, hearing their screams. The maiden soon removing it, steadily moving around, scraping her blade along the land.

Soon standing beside the three, kneeling to them. Turning each of their heads in her direction, her sharp eyes on them.

"I believe this is where we should part."

Raising her sword, that steel to their weak visions. Stabbing down at one after the next, spilling blood on the ground. Dabria's hasty heart, her increasing unrest.

A young woman walking in the abyss, reaching for one from the past. Cutting down her opponents, showing the fury inside her.

Ava soon standing up, crimson liquid dripping from her blade. Wiping her face, swinging her weapon to the side, the red substance hitting below.

Shortly facing the girl, seeing their expression. The maiden slightly looking away, someone accepting her path.

"D—did you...really have to go so far...?" the lavender one's trembling body.

"All I have in me is hatred, get used to it. My enemies will have no mercy..." Turning from the girl.

"Is that what you tell others, to push them away...?" Dabria lowering her head.

"We should hurry, the night is not a safe place..." Ava distantly looking away.

Somehow, you are seeing right through me. Still, part of me wished you never had to see that...

An individual's cruel methods, a person not trusting others. Something more coming into her life, revealing a connecting path in an endless stream.

Another within it, the hazel girl before the young woman. Gripping her upper arm, slightly looking away. Ava reaching for her, passing through the lavender one.

Shortly looking back, seeing them fade away. Someone waiting for her, enduring a long torment. Ava walking up to her friend, thinking on their words.

Raising her hand, resting it on the student's shoulder. Dabria slightly calming, understanding the maiden a bit more.
