Chapter 23: Reflecting Halves(Part 2)

Two great beings meeting in the dusk, their powerfully sounding souls. Cyra rushing high above Rose, her sword to the air. Descending on her other half, closing in on her opponent.

The Dark Seraph meeting the action, their strongly colliding weapons. These two mighty entities, their feverishly burning desires. Both continuing in the madness, refusing to remain quiet.

"I will no longer live in your shadow Maria!" Rose's harsh voice.

"Why can you not see Rose?! There is no need for our conflict!" Cyra retorting.

Strongly persisting sentiments, hearts aligning on the battlefield. Resolves opposing one another, seeking after what is within. A war drawing closer to its conclusion, both running along their route.

Rose pulling away, the maiden immediately pursuing her. The Dark Seraph slightly adjusting herself, striking at her target. Their connecting weapons, powerfully crushing the young woman.

Cyra flying towards the ground, the entity instantly flipping. Landing below, her stance spreading on the floor. Her eyes on her other half, seeing their sharp vision.

"Why do you despise me so much, Rose?" her sad voice.

"We were once united, Maria. No matter how much we were beaten down, we strived to grow stronger, to not be trapped again. However, that was not enough..." Rose looking away, sorrow from her eyes.

A heart in the past, someone racing in the darkness, carrying her heavy chains. Her displeasure for the battlefield, yet having to grow stronger. Nightmarish experiences constantly grabbing at her, embracing her black soul.

The maiden standing up, her sad hand to her chest. Anger coming to Rose, the Death Seraph looking down at her other half.

"We went far, and brought ruin to the gods. They who were responsible for everything. And then, you made a decision that would seal me away in the darkness for a thousand years. Despite this, I felt that I had to protect you. However, that time is over, and I am not going back to that place..." Rose agonizingly looking to her offhand.

An individual crushing her many challenges, eventually standing in the domain of the gods. Her powerfully sounding soul, scarring her sentiments into the worlds.

The maiden's breaking psyche, choosing to seal away her memories. Her other half's determination to push forward, using the night to achieve her wish.

Two halves once whole, one passing on lessons in the dusk. The young woman proceeding in the night, steadily awakening to a power from the past.

"It must have been very lonely there, Rose--" lowering her head.

"--I will take on your hatred, your sorrow, and make you see you will not go back there." Cyra's gentle eyes to the Dark Seraph.

"I would like to believe you, but I will not." Gripping her arms, her head below.

A thousand years in the darkness, an entity remaining there, steadily breaking over the passing time. Eventually coming free, the being soaring into the dusk. A chance to her, reaching after her desire to not go back. An entity seeking after power, forcing against her chains.

Rose looking to the maiden, seeing those purely stretching white wings. A warmth stretching over the area, wrapping around the Dark Seraph. Cyra rising off of the ground, her vision on her other half. A person not giving in, trying to grasp the smallest chance.

"I made a lot of mistakes, and I never should have run away like I did then. I am here now, and I will show you that you are not alone." The maiden's soft tone.

An individual diving into the raging waves, piercing far below its surface. Descending into the darkness, her eyes on her other half. An entity on her knees, gripping her arms.

Cyra calling out to her, the person distantly looking above, a strong barrier keeping out the demon. The Dark Seraph looking at the young woman, feeling a familiar bliss.

"You just will not give up." Rose shaking her head in refusal.

Two hearts in the darkness, one venturing deeper, trying to reach her other half. Both shortly extending their staff, twirling it in their hand. Their locking visions, building light and dark electrical energy.

That force intensely sparking from them, generating into physical form, shortly unleashing the massive attack. These great powers colliding into one another, tearing apart the area even more, massive stones falling from above.

The two halves rushing at the other, evading the descending objects, soon clashing against the other. An electrical surge rapidly emitting, their strongly sounding emotions.

"Everything we worked towards! And the way you thank me is by casting me into that dark place?!" Rose yelling.

"You have every right to be furious with me. I ran and sealed you away at my depths." Cyra's calm tone.

"Why did you run? We were right there! I could have helped shouldered the burden you carried..." The Dark Seraph lowering her head.

Taking on their rage, feeling her other half's despair. A great weight crushing down on the maiden, her mistake from the past. A person unable to endure anymore, making a request to her old friend.

An individual casting the Dark Seraph deep into the shadows, living a thousand years in ignorance. The two shortly breaking away, an enormous shockwave ripping through the area.

Rose immediately ascending higher, the young woman giving chase. An after-image rushing at the dark half, colliding into a clone. Cyra frowning a bit, shifting her vision above. A malefic electrical force to her eyes, Rose unleashing the attack.

"Disappear forever Maria—!" her strongly sounding voice.

"--Not yet! Not until I get through to you!" Cyra's great determination.

Two hearts long ago breaking free from their horrid life, racing into the vast abyss. Carrying their chains, their desire to never go back.

Seeking after a similar wish, crushing countless in their way. Their presence before one another, the maiden taking on the anger from her other half.

Cyra slightly pulling away, raising Reviver. Rose's frustration, witnessing the energy colliding into the staff. An artifact absorbing it, soon emitting a comforting light.

"Tch...!" Rose slightly moving back.

An individual pushing against the barrier deep in the darkness, steadily drawing closer. Her sounding voice, trying to reach one at the depths.

Cyra twirling Reviver in her hand, extending her arm. Malice intensely sparking from the artifact, her sharp vision on her target. Shortly unleashing the assault at twice the force, the negative lightning tearing away at the walls and ceiling.

The Dark Seraph immediately diving, avoiding the massive attack. That assault colliding afar, electrical waves trailing Rose like a laser. The entity glancing back, her uneasy vision. Shifting her gaze to the young woman, seeing her after-image nearing the demon from behind.

"Come now, I will not fall for my own technique." Cyra extending her sword.

Instantly blocking the strike, her immediate movements above. Striking down at the clone, cleaving the imposter in two. Rose floating in place, her eyes on the maiden.

Feeling malice building from them, this familiar energy. A presence long ago, two embracing in its power, crushing the deities from old. A night growing stronger, slowly bringing back one from the deepest of shadows.

Cyra twirling Reviver in her hand, surrounding herself in a great fire. Raising her staff high, spreading the massive inferno from the depths below. Engulfing the Dark Seraph in it, the flames wildly lashing out, these two within its walls.

"I will keep pushing Rose, I will not stop until our feud can be put to a peaceful rest." Cyra lowering her head.

A devil never stopping, forcing onward in the harshest darkness. An individual enduring her great pain, withstanding the damage on her psyche. Carrying her failures, refusing to remain in silence.

Shortly floating before Rose, the Dark Seraph biting her lower lip. An entity's great rage, keeping her eye on her goal. No matter, her sadness in their confrontation.

"Hah, peaceful? Why did you not just run away at the start? I did not want you involved in any of this..." Tightly gripping her staff, slightly looking away.

"It is because, I could not leave you alone, that was what I felt." Her gentle eyes on the Dark Seraph.

A devil breaking through the barrier, racing to her other half, screaming out to them. The Dark Seraph rising to their feet in the darkness, extending their hand to the maiden.

A strong force rushing out, shadowy arms grabbing them both, pulling them away from one another. The young woman seeing an opportunity, a way to get through. Rose soon shaking her head in refusal, moving back a bit, firmly keeping her hold on her path.
