Chapter 4: Endless Dusk(Part 2)

A girl's advancement, someone taking advantage of any moment. Their natural behavior, the young woman not thinking much on it.

A Person living a lonely life, keeping her shield up around others. A pure one entering into her world, shining light on her dark road.

The maiden's eye on her goal, to fulfill her promise to her brother. No matter, something else grabbing at her, the words from her dream. Lily walking up to Ava, whispering into her ear.

"When Dabria has her mark set, she does not let up hehe."

"S--strangely enough, I believe you..." Unease from the maiden.

One flowing along an endless stream, meeting another within its vast waves. Familiar sentiments running through her, a gentle beating inside her chest.

A sister's burning drive, enduring the strange occurrences, running after one from her past. These purely proceeding days, innocence existing in a horrific town.

Ava and Dabria shortly leaving the school, following the directions on the sheet of paper. Both walking along the sidewalk, many people going on with their day. Some paying the two no mind, others scowling from a distance.

"It feels weird ditching school, I hope Sasha is okay..." Dabria looking to the sky.

"She might just be ill, these things happen." The maiden assuring her, glancing back to the girl.

"Right, she is probably too sick to even type a message." That student smiling at the young woman.

I only said what I said because I was concerned for the worst, I just could not shake this feeling...

Never ending nightmares, the previous one gripping at Ava. Her uncertainty on its truth, the maiden thinking on the other occurrences.

Feeling the gentle breeze against her, withstanding her uneasy emotions. Eventually finding herself at Sasha's home, a large building before the two. Shortly pushing open the gate, stepping onto the bricks.

Both soon in front of the door, the young woman knocking on it, none answering. Ava reaching into her coat, taking out her locking picking tool.

"A—Ava, I don't think we should do this. Last night was just lucky..." Dabria holding her hands to her chest.

"If she is in there, we can quickly slip in to check, then leave. If not, we can look elsewhere." The maiden's calm voice.

"Okay...but let's make it fast..." The nervous girl.

I wondered then, if I should have sent her back to school. This feeling, I could not shake it. I did not want to share my fear with her, rather...I just hope I am wrong about this...

A heart walking along a dark route, keeping her sentiments to herself. Shortly hearing a clicking sound, turning the knob. Slowly pushing it open, their eyes on the wood floor.

Ava shifting her gaze to the pictures on the wall, soon looking to the paint throughout. These quiet surroundings, both making their way forward, closing the door behind them.

The two soon at an intersection, their visions to the living room. A table at the center, couches lining in a square, a television at the front.

Shelves of books in the area, a family portrait hanging on the side. Not seeing anyone there, both proceeding onward. Ascending up the stairs, its slightly creaking structure.

Making their way down the hall, pushing open a door on the far end. A room in a lighter orange, a large bed by the window. Blinds covering the view, dressers along the ends, a desk in the corner.

"S—she's not here..." Dabria trembling.

"Do not assume the worst, maybe she went out to get some fresh air, and that is the reason the house is locked." The maiden's stern vision.

"Y—yeah, that has to be it. Let's head down to the park..." That girl clutching her hands, her quickly beating heart.

I grew cold when she mentioned the park. Despite my best efforts to keep hope in her, even I am having doubt now...

A dream gripping at her, her mind on the words from one. The maiden's steadily shaking heart, someone thinking on the worst. A person moving through the darkness, her eye on her next destination.

Both soon leaving the room, closing the door behind them. Ava placing a gentle hand on the girl's shoulder, calming her a bit. Shortly continuing onward, eventually making their way to the park.

Children running about, a road curving far. Many walking in this place, their loud voices in the air. The two stopping others, showing them Sasha's picture. None able to answer, their growing concern.

Dabria calling her friend's parents, unable to get an answer from them. Those two soon trying to settle themselves, both sitting down on a bench. The young woman leaning over, resting her arms on her legs.

"If we cannot get in contact with her parents, and there is no sign of her. Then, I might know where we can find her..." Ava's unease.

"Where?" Dabria worryingly looking at the young woman.

"If there are no answers in the day, we might find her at night..." The maiden sitting up.

I almost bit my tongue on that one, knowing of the possibility at hand. Looking at Dabria, I could see the fear in her eyes. Even she knew of the chance, sadly...I cannot break this to her in any other way. Those dreams, are they actually real...?

A town with two sides, the young woman's strange dreams. A person appearing within it, guiding her along her route.

Ava's uncertainty in it, a weird place bringing more questions to the surface. Seeing tears to the girl's eyes, words unable to quell their unrest. An individual learning from the lavender one, wishing to preserve that innocence.

The two shortly standing from the bench, the young woman facing her friend, extending her hand. Dabria looking to them, her hand to her chest.

"Come on, don't count her dead yet. Not until we see it with our own eyes." The maiden faintly smiling.

"Ava...right, there is no guarantee." Dabria softly grinning, reaching for her companion's hand.

I could say no more...even though I knew I was lying to give her some hope. Maybe I should have sent her back to school, and dealt with it myself. Yet...I felt like it was only right to include her in this...

A person enduring torment over her years, her low trust in others. Eventually coming upon a town, withstanding its terror.

The individual's encounter with a pure one, steadily finding her place amongst others. Ava wishing to believe in a miracle, keeping a lesson throughout time firmly within her.

Embracing her imperfections, selfishly pushing onward. The young woman grasping the girl's hand, leading her onward. Taking her away from the park, both relishing in the current day.

Their eyes on the sights, browsing shops together. Dabria steadily settling, her pleasant smile. Someone bouncing back, cleverly proceeding with her plan.

Ava brushing her off at times, the girl's displeasure at them. An individual twisting the smallest things, progressing along their path.

Night eventually coming, the black surroundings. A crimson mist flowing in, the deteriorating town. The young woman in front of Dabria's home, hearing the creaking from the gate.

"Any idea where we should check first?" the girl walking up to Ava, her hand to her chin.

"We need to backtrack, so I suggest we head to her home first and see if something turns up." The maiden folding her arms.

"Alright...you...don't think she's dead, do you...?" unease from the hazel one.

"I wish I can assure you, but I can't be certain. All we can do is hope she is well...until we see her with our own two eyes." Some sadness from Ava.

I can tell those were words she did not want to hear, but I also could not lie to her. I just hope Sasha is well...and we can move past this just fine...

Mysteries inside a town, monsters roaming after the setting sun. A place in ruin, terror around every corner. Chairs in a pitiful state, cars through business windows, trees stretching from buildings.

Two companions proceeding through the dusk, the maiden's sharp eyes on her foes. Enemies steadily backing away, their strange fear towards her.

Both finding themselves in front of Sasha's home, the young woman inspecting the front. Blood staining the ground, a trail leading to the east.

"That is the direction to the park..." Dabria shaking a bit, her hands to her chest.

"Yeah..." The maiden's serious vision.

"Hey Ava, was it me? Or were those monsters afraid of you? That was different from the other times..." The girl facing her friend.

"I am not sure what was up with that as well, either way, it made our venture easier." Folding her arms.

I wish I could answer her, but this made even less sense. They were small fries, so I guess they did not want to take a chance. However, that still does not explain why it happened suddenly. What's more, that dream...it may not be a dream after all...

Thinking on the occurrence, a familiar person appearing to her in a dream. These strange sentiments to her, a warmth from long ago.

Their message to her, those clues leading her down her path. The young woman's uneasy heart, wondering on the truth behind it all. Making her way through the night, crushing many in her way.

Monsters slamming through windows, others crashing into the land. Blood staining the earth, Dabria flinching. The maiden shortly facing a horrific looking bull, their large arms.

Watching the beast charging at her, her sharp gaze on them. Her quick foot, immediately closing in. Swiftly striking, severing her enemy's arms, their echoing screams.

Instantly grabbing it, pulling it in close. Whispering into its ear, her chilling tone. Shortly sliding her sword across its neck, spilling blood on the land.

Continuing on her path, running along her dark road. Scattering her foes limbs, lining the streets with dead bodies. Ava eventually standing before Dabria, her vision on the uneasy girl.

"You can tone it down a bit...I swear, you are so different when you fight. It is kind of frightening..." Gripping her upper arm.

"I advise you look away, I have no sympathy for my enemies. Sorry you had to see such a sight..." Ava turning, slightly looking to her side.

For most of my life, all I have known is hatred. Being around you, it is the first time in a long time that something different could exist.
