Chapter 6: Guiding Memories(Part 2)

Flowing sentiments within the endless stream, following its wave towards her wish. An individual facing a grand foe, locking onto it below. Descending on her target, crashing her sword into its skull. Smashing it into the land, platforms from above falling, colliding into the monster.

Immediately homing in on another opportunity, continuing her pursuit. Diving to her target, black energy thickening around her. The young woman's unease, watching the rising foe. Its lunging claw, grabbing her, instantly throwing her against the wall.

"Gyah...!"

The crumbling structure, parts hitting below. Cyra falling forward, this unending threat. Her nearing enemy, ramming her deeper into it. The maiden's trembling eyes, great pain on her.

Her foe grabbing her once more, smashing her down into the floor. Immediately following up, slamming her back into the wall. Pinning her there, blood streaming from her body. Lowering her head, her increasing doubt, her slowly fading light.

"This was to be expected...what do I do...?"

An entity binding in the shadows, a great obstacle holding her in place. Everything slipping away from her, her quickly beating heart. Searching out any possibility, nothing coming to her mind. Her slowly nearing foe, that maiden slipping into the past.

A thousand years ago, a realm existing far above the worlds below. Many floating platforms connecting through chains, the gentle breeze underneath the warm sun.

That tall gate into the Heavenly Realm, old symbol burning from it. Maria floating above the ground, her purely stretching white wings. Polishing her staff, fondly looking at it.

"Ya know, if you were as friendly to others as you are with that staff, everything would be good."

Hearing a familiar voice, turning to see her companion. Valor always having a surprise or two, someone constantly thinking ahead to her interest. One choosing to guard a gate, helping him with his troubles.

"So I heard you finally made it into the ranks of Archangel, congrats." His bright smile.

An entity freely soaring, something else at her core. A title stirring her blood, sharply looking at her old friend. The deity uneasily smiling, holding the back of his head, his attention on her displeasure.

"Come on, no need to be mad. I was just joking." Scratching his cheek with his index finger.

"Good, for now, I have a mission later today." Slightly looking away.

"Then let's go, we'll knock it out. While we're down there, we might as well have some fun." Shrugging at her.

An entity constantly working hard, flying along her route. The deity admiring her trait, a person learning from her over time. Someone continuously pushing forward, no matter her difficulties. One in the deepest darkness, shining her light on the road.

"Do you not have work to do?" her vision to him.

A sounding explosion from a distance, her attention to it. Smoke filling the air, this coming from the palace. Her companion's great lengths to escape his work, an impressive display to her.

A person wishing more for him, constantly keeping him in line. These two close friends, both sharing in bliss with one another.

"Yeah...let's get going now, you and I both know I don't like work." Turning away, his pale expression.

A god seeking out adventure, bringing her along in it. Sentiments within her, those powerfully gripping emotions. An individual yearning for the past, reaching after the old days. An opportunity in her hands, setting her vision on the chance.

"Very well, but you are aware that once we return, you will have to explain that dilemma." Folding her arms.

"Hah, that's what you think." Proudly gesturing his hand to himself.

Facing his companion, brightly smiling at her. Two strongly binding together, both building on one another. Their endless days to her mind, the passing time shackling them in chains. A way existing to reclaim those experiences, the two yearning for it.

"But seriously...we should get going..." Glancing back, shortly looking to her.

A god maintaining his bright personality, another falling into the depths of the abyss. No matter, their link eternally with each other. Simple emotions leading them onward, their hearts wishing for the old days again. Maria turning from him, slightly smiling, soon flying away.

"Oh come on! I didn't do anything that bad! Then again, I did put pink dye in Chronos' shower...eh...he'll get over it." Folding his arms in a thinking posture.

Shifting his eyes to the sky, seeing her descending pure feathers. The god faintly smiling, his hand behind his head. One eternally traveling in the farthest darkness, the other trying to reach his old friend.

His wish take hold of her hand, and bring her away from her torment, those feelings transcending countless years.

"That weapon...it has so many good memories..."

Fragments within her, certain things not making sense. No matter, these purely flowing emotions inside of her, sharply glaring at her nearing foe.

A black energy slowly emitting from her, the young woman's sounding soul. A person fearing answers from the past, yet this great will to finally remove the clouds covering it.

Maria, there is light in the deepest of darkness. Reach out, and grab hold of the future before you. Do not let anyone dictate your life, not even those gods.

Those reverberating words, keeping them firmly to her heart. Tightly gripping her sword, instantly cutting upward. Shattering her foe's hand, splashing blood in the distance.

Its loud scream, steadily stepping away from her. Cyra's thickly flowing malice, its spilling force. Wrapping around the monster, crushing it in her might.

"Not yet...there is something I have to achieve..." Her solemn voice.

A heart running along her black route, keeping her eye on her goal. The many walls around her, memories containing within the mirrors. Those lunging shadowy hands, refusing to shackle to them. Her quickly moving feet, leaping above.

Her blade over her other shoulder, instantly striking through its leg. The monster falling to its knee, Reviver soon crying out, warmth washing over the area.

Continuing in her frenzy, dashing behind her target. Greed swinging its other claw in her direction, her sharp vision on it. Hastily slicing through, severing its remaining arm. Blood pouring out of it, a fiend unable to act.

"Farewell..."

An entity releasing a great force from her depths, overwhelming her enemy in a terrifying display. A person not stopping, leaping onto its back. Racing to her target's head, instantly striking through it.

The maiden soon landing on the ground, the lifeless corpse bloodying the floor. Gathering her breath, heavy wounds on her. Slowly inhaling and exhaling, Cyra facing her staff. This moment at last, walking towards it. Shortly standing before the weapon, softly grinning.

"In the end...memories are what drives me..."

Gently touching Reviver, feeling its warmth on her. Their parting for a long time, a weapon happy to be with her again. Another presence behind her, those nine purely shining wings. The angel's back facing the maiden, their eyes on one another.

The shortly fading entity, their slight smile. Cyra understanding a bit more, this guiding presence with her. A small chance within her grasp, keeping her eye on her goal.

"I have to remember, no matter how dreadful it might be. To claim the reality I want..." Her soft voice.

A great wrong in the dusk, yet something more resting within it. Her direction towards that route, seeking after her deepest desire. These powerfully flowing emotions within, the maiden yearning to unravel her past. Tightly gripping her staff in her hand, holding it to her chest. A person steadily returning, turning the tiniest chance into an actuality.

"I have found it Valor, and once again, I might be causing trouble. These feelings within me, they cannot be quelled..." Faintly smiling.

This night guiding me to my past. I am afraid, but I have to know. These unquenchable emotions, they will not be silenced. I will right my wrong, but more importantly, I will achieve what is inside me...
