Flowering Night(Part 2)

Carrying sentiments within him, these burning desires. One in his mind, her pure image still with him. Unable to save her, these swirling whirlpool of emotions. Someone with him, a soldier alongside him in the abyss. Their path to go forward, this unsettling dusk.

Both shortly standing at a crossway, Alicia positioning her arms in a thinking posture. Her eyes on the tracks below, seeing the line on them. Kneeling to the ground, touching it. Malevolence dissipating into the air, that king walking up behind her. Observing the disturbance, a voice piercing his mind.

How long do you intend to run, Zephyr? You detestable King. Her death will be the least of your worries.

An older time, the refreshing breeze underneath the sun. Sounds in a village, these bright people. Two hearts in this place, that King and a young woman. Her long rosy hair, those captivating eyes of the land.

Her red top, a black dress wrapping below. Standing in front of him, brightly smiling at him. The lion's hand behind his head, slightly looking away from her. These two by a store, some dust blowing by.

"Oh come now, it will be fun." Her hands to her chest.

"In what regard?" folding his arms.

"Just seeing the sky light up, and the new designs. It is always exciting." Moving to his side, happily pulling against his arm.

These warm feelings, two sharing in it. A king coming upon her, finding himself in this village. Integrating in their life, learning the finer things. Some confusing occurrences, taking in the smaller points. His vision to her, seeing her excitement. A night lighting up, many gathering for the event. Their souls meeting in one place, enjoying such bliss.

"I don't get it, but okay. I guess it cannot hurt." His faint smile to her.

"Trust me, you'll like it!" pulling him onward.

A flower that was too pure for this damn world. I will bring meaning to your demise, that is the least I can do.

A king meeting a young woman, her warm hand to him. Following her, taking in many lessons. Living a normal life for a bit, wanting nothing else. Those blissful times no more, dread filling his heart. Desiring to bring meaning to her end, those responsible in his mind.

That echoing voice at the heart of it, his boiling blood. Alicia standing from the ground, her vision on the lion. Sensing his unease, watching him move ahead. That king stopping not far from her, folding his arms, his eyes slightly to her.

"Be-careful." Warning her.

"What is in that direction?" tilting her head a bit at him.

Never forgetting, a king challenging a great being before. His failure to bring them down, losing someone precious to his heart. Carrying his ill-sentiments, this one constantly echoing through him.

That flowery night, spending it with that person. His changing world, appreciating more. Everything slipping away from him, his deep hatred. Glancing back to the individual, his calm vision.

"Valos, the Imperials refer to him as the Bringer of Salvation." Zephyr's hand on his waist.

A dragon gaining much praise, those worshiping this deity. Many following in his guidance, their minds wandering to him. That young woman researching them, coming across much information.

Some parts missing from it, her doubt towards this faith. Unease constantly in her heart, yearning to know more. This opportunity before her, a way to gain necessary answers.

"If you continue with me any further, you will be branded a traitor. If you go your own way from here, you will be safe." Shifting his head onward.

A decision in her hands, thinking on his words. Darkness around her, a faint light at the end of this madness. This crushing pressure, her quickly beating chest. An abomination bringing her to safety, his message to her.

These contradicting points, having to know. Her guiding sentiments, these swirling emotions. A sinister energy, her purpose for joining the military.

Days from the past, a throne room with many decors. A place in much detail, its shining extravagance. A red carpet from the door to the seat, statues along the corners, portraits hanging on the walls.

The sunlight coming through the window, this warmth in the area. Alicia standing in front of the king, a man in his middle age. Her blade to the ground, resting her hands on top of the hilt.

"Your abilities are quite commendable. Though, always remember. Underneath the guidance of Valos, we will snuff out anyone who aims to upend our life." His serious vision on her.

"Very well..."

Devoting her life to serving her nation, grappling with questionable actions. Pursuing her direction, these conflicting sentiments. Searching further, knowledge escaping her. Those relying on Valos, the Bringer of Salvation in the wake of despair. Many battles in her time, victory coming to her. Countless falling in line, believing in the miracle of a deity.

"I have to know." Folding her arms.

"If that is your choice, then so be it." Slightly looking back to her.

Their lining paths, both walking down the same direction, each with their own purpose. One yearning to bring meaning to the demise of someone, another wishing for the truth, their hearts meeting in this endless wave. From above, in between dimension.

An entity floating there, her pure white wings, her divine feathers raining down. Her long blonde hair, a red ribbon tying at the back of her head. Those crimson eyes, her gold armor, that noble velvet cape on the lower half of her back.

"King of Beasts, let me see where your sorrow takes you." Calmly folding her arms.

An unlikely friendship between two, their forming bond. Someone once shining light onto his path, her end leaving him in darkness. Doing his best, refusing to remain in silence. His foe in mind, these swirling sentiments inside of him. An abomination of one, purity from the other.

His will to oppose the reason of others, displaying his soul on his foes. From below, Alicia walking ahead, taking in the gentle breeze. Enemies around every corner, that concentrating darkness. Zephyr following behind, listening to her.

"I always wondered why everyone in my kingdom followed this belief. The more I traveled, the more I saw that everyone has their own belief, and are willing to fight for it..." Her vision distantly to the sky.

A common line, those going in their own direction. Holding their view to their hearts, clashing against others. These never changing sentiments, each believing in their path. A pure individual once in his life, her bright smile to his mind.

Someone teaching him much, cherishing his time with her. His reason to go forward, these swirling whirlpool of sentiments within him. Walking in darkness, someone watching from afar, her sad eyes.

"Always remember, the will to oppose is what creates a better future." Slightly looking away.

Sentiments streaming along an endless line, once relishing in its bliss. Opposing his enemy, wanting to save someone to his heart. Reaching for the slim chance, everything slipping away from him. Wishing to believe those words, his shaky state. Increasing energy, their attention around them.

Arch-demons coming from each direction, their dark wings, those blood red eyes. Their long horns, crimson auras from them. That king extending his arm, his fist brightly burning fire. His serious vision on the many targets, Alicia sticking her sword into the ground.

A powerful force rushing through, this enlightening feeling washing over the area. Devils striking down on the land, negativity tearing away at the surroundings. Assaults rushing at the solider, the lion appearing in front of her. Plunging his fist into the earth, releasing a powerful burst of fire.

This attack colliding into the malice, unleashing an intense inferno in the area, scorching the numerous enemies. Their stretching screams, darkness dissipating into the sky above. Standing straight, Zephyr glancing around. The disappearing flames, a route before the two.

The more you resist, the more destruction will come. Will you truly continue detestable king? All to bring meaning to the demise of that woman? Will you actually continue with this selfish path?
