Chapter 20: Day of Ruin(Conclusion)

Differences between those of lowness and highness, each having a deep desire. One having numerous, wanting in achieving what is within. Selfishness guiding her way, terribleness of currentness. Unwillingness in relenting, persisting against this threat. Fearfulness within, tiring of the conflict. Becoming the Bringer of demise, a parting in times of old. Words inside of a lock, horridness never ceasing. Those deities heading to Ezel, standing before the maiden outside of the bar. Disgusting of this sight, wishing in ending the life of one. Holding her hand, minuscule of their chance, enough in forming a rebellion.

"It has been a while halfbreed, or should I call you a devil?" Odin calmly speaks, folding his arms.

Times of old, her methods in proceeding. A companion and devil, unlikeliness of their bond. Highness of his faith in her, one capable of performing miracles. Once of brightness, hatred at her depths. Yearning for what is inside, opposing the rationality of others. Tackling trials, completing six of them. Emotions igniting, a soul breaking its shackles. Wings desiring to soar, walking in an abyss of loneliness. Glaring at Odin, animosity towards him. A situation of terribleness, those unable in fighting amongst themselves. Efforts best in direction to that foe above, time running out.

"It is time to put aside our differences. Otherwise, in less than five hours we will all fall." Cyra mildly responds.

Pressure of immensity, memories of horribleness. Painfulness of greatness, surpassing her challenges. An enemy aiming at her, one of foolishness. A mistake of the past, determination in rectifying it. Forcing against the rationality of others, that heart crying out. No longer willing in remaining in silence, resisting the tides of harshness. Feathers of divinity raining down, those turning their attention above. Victor descending, landing before them. Folding his arms, calmness of his vision. Sickening of the sight of Odin, yet wishing in lending his aid in this struggle.

"Victor..." Cyra distantly speaks.

"I am aware you are not confident, nonetheless...I will still place my faith in you." He responds.

"So the defect finally shows himself, I guess there is no point in quarreling at this moment." Odin holding his hands behind his back.

Gratefulness to that young woman, a devil freeing him from his prison. Courage filling his heart, warmness within coldness. Hopefulness in blackness, a grip of powerfulness from her. Learning of her, feats of greatness. Capability of turning the smallest chance into an actuality, uncertainness of her. Naturalness of it, a deity far above her. Those from differing realms coming together, willingness in tackling this threat as one. Ares stepping forward, needing in knowing of a plan. Dreams in her hands, slimness of possibilities. A miracle of essentialness, wondering on her method in going forward.

"So how do you even intend to battle Ultima?" Ares questions.

"That I do not know. I have never faced anyone with this amount of power, so I will have to figure this out as I go." She slightly looks away.

Rising to the challenge, tackling opponents far above herself. Ascending in strength, loathing the battlefield. Displeasure of this life, Lævateinn defending her. Fading strength, giving her its all. Unable in pushing, that young woman suffering. Years going by, that devil seeking power. Insecurities within, hatred at her core. Wanting what is within, softness still in existence. Becoming the Bringer of Demise, unleashing this possibility upon them. Preserving her family, damning everyone. Those words leaving her, Ares stepping away. Someone such as herself unable to identify a plan, this grim situation. An ending fast approaching, nervousness from those around her. Thinking for a bit, her vision on Odin.

"Odin, what about the rest of the angels? What about your Valkyries as well?" Cyra questions.

"The angels have suffered great injuries trying to contend with Ultima, the Valkyries as well are still resting from the last war. I apologize, but they are not an option." He looks down a bit.

"This is a losing battle either way, but maybe we can pull together something." Victor's vision slightly to his right.

Reinforcements not of a possibility, those enduring injuries. Valkyries incapable of joining, smallness of their resistance. Those placing their hopes in the hands of a devil, dreams on the line. Quivering of her heart, her lowering head. Holding her arms, frustrations within. Closeness of her goal, a threat on a scale far higher than her own. Those gazing at her, sadness from their vision. The heavy burden, that maiden desperately thinking. Scenarios running through her mind, everything steadily slipping out of her hands. Valor walking up to her, gently placing his hand on her shoulder. Glancing back to him, biting her lower lip.

"So...everything comes down to a game of chance..." Chronos' trembling eyes.

"Cyra...I know we are asking a lot from you. You've done the near impossible before, so we will keep believing in you..." Valor depressingly speaks.

Gathering the deities, intending in gaining assistance from angels and Valkyries. A possibility in resisting with a force of massiveness, her hopes burning away. Those expecting an impossibility, her awakening not at completion. Time of essentialness, one trial in facing. The end of days upon them, wishing to bring a miracle, uncertainness of it. A heart yearning in opposing, potential options racing through her mind. Wishing in not disappointing her old friend, wanting in living those happiest days again. From high above, those parting clouds. A being of familiarity descending, that roaring beast, its glimmering scales of silver. Alarming of it, attention towards it.

"What the hell?!" Ryan looking to the sky.

Lowering her arms, that familiar face. One from a bit back, gratefulness to her. Pain no longer upon it, freedom in the wind. Conflict upon them, racing to that young woman. Expectance of difficulty, that pressure of greatness. Descending in front of her, their eyes meeting with one another. A creature of magnificence, longness since their meeting. Gladness of her, that one still of the living. Light in the deepest of abyss, those following along with her. Shaking of heaviness, a force of horribleness. Those looking to her for guidance, smallness of the chances.

A true manifestation of corruption she is, her eyes of hatred, those wings of darkness. That beast struggling to move, Cyra directing her claw at its head. Her powerful force binding the monster to the ground, that maiden landing below. Emotions ever so far inside of her, that pain coming from the leviathan. Helplessness against the malice consuming it, conscious of the present danger. Whimpering louder, that young woman moving her claw towards it. That beast unable to do anything, looking up into those monstrous crimson eyes. That claw of the devil stopping in front of its head, that malice from the beast reacting to her influence. Negative energy flowing out of the leviathan, malevolence assimilating into her claw. One devouring corruption, that need for power, but a heart of softness.

Darkness leaving the beast, its glimmering silver scales returning. That leviathan resting its vision upon her, the young woman pulling away her claw. Gazing at her, fear slowly subsiding, that pressure on it fading away. A pure white energy burning from the body of the maiden, that darkness consuming her slowly disappearing, burning into the air. Her skin tone returning to normal, her eyes as well, those fangs no more. Normally standing before the beast, that leviathan resting its vision upon her, witnessing her warm smile. Kneeling to the animal, gently placing a hand on its head. That fear within the beast completely going away, its heart favoring her. That leviathan pleasantly letting out sounds, gratefulness towards her.

"Be-careful now, others may not be as generous." She softly speaks.

Darkness consuming the beast, pain upon its body and soul. That one yearning for freedom, hatred enveloping it. A meeting in a most fateful place, an encounter with one ever so kind. Gratefulness towards her, guilt for attacking her. That rain rushing down, cold the surroundings are. Thick the air is, but soothing one can say. Cyra rising to her feet, that beast raising from the ground. Its vision in her direction, witnessing the devil turning away. That young woman glancing back, waving at the animal, her smile faint upon it. Facing forward, that devil heading onward.

"I am glad you are doing well..." She gently states.

Sounds of happiness from it, that creature joyously nudging her. Faintly smiling, placing a hand of gentleness on the side of its head, that animal of excitableness. Grimness of currentness, a message of importance. Gazing upon each of those with her, those walking alongside her in the blackness. Refusing in relenting, shifting in her posture. Valor and Victor noticing, a possibility within their grasp. Time of shortness, everything riding on the line. A soul feverishly burning, igniting emotions. Each having their own way in going forward, unwillingness in dictation by another.

"You know this thing, sis?" Argent tilting his head in surprise.

Wind of coldness, quietness of the surroundings. Those no longer within the area, each fleeing for their lives. Pointlessness of it, one continuing onward. Shakiness of her wings, those eyes setting upon her goal. Few walking alongside her, this no less enough in resisting. Unlikeliness of the alliance, differences bringing them together. Illness of emotions for some, importance in pushing against this threat. Glancing to the child, that boy looking up at the leviathan. Interest from him, that animal gazing at each of them. Supportiveness from others, essentialness in resisting that one of highness.

"Indeed, I devoured the malice that was possessing him. He was never a violent beast, but a gentle hearted one." Cyra speaks, faintly smiling.

"A strange one you are, but this does fall in line quite well." Victor resting his vision on the creature.

"Yo!" Valor waving at the leviathan.

Hearts uniting against one above, time of shortness. Terribleness of the possibility, a chance in existence. Smallness of it, that young woman willing in resisting. Uncertainness of the outcome, a solution in place. Unwillingness of the answer, yet a way in dealing with the threat. Seeking what is within, gathering the gods. Others coming along, hopes and dreams in her hands. Those wishing for a miracle, heaviness of the burden. Many treading alongside her in the abyss, opposing the reason of another. That leviathan facing his attention to Valor, floating up to the god. Looking straight into the face of that deity, pausing, unease from that god. Paleness of his expression, the leviathan angrily growling. Words of poorness, disliking of this one.

"Huh...leave it to you to get an attack dog..." Valor uneasily states.

"Behave now Levi." Cyra softly speaks.

Meeting underneath circumstances of terribleness, untrusting of others. Adoration of that devil, gratefulness to her. One freeing him from his bondage, allowing him in experiencing life. Grimness setting in, racing to her. Following her scent, finally reuniting. Giving his assistance, cautiousness of others. Awareness on their purpose, conflicting emotions. Gazing at that maiden, his attention shortly to Valor. Uncertainness from him, conceding to her request. Wanting that deity in going away, trusting in her. Pulling away, sitting on the ground. Each of necessity, those coming together in a time of need.

"You are a disgrace..." Valor looking towards the leviathan, humorless of this.

"For your sake, it might be better to hold your tongue." Victor shrugging.

Attention on that god, growling at him once more. Two of enemies, Cyra clapping her hands. Loudness of it, those two flinching, reluctantly settling down. Listening to one, strictness at times. Softness within, kindness below the surface. Enduring strives of greatness, pushing through her sorrows. Insecurities within, hatred at her depths. Steadily moving out of the shadows, piecing together her life. One standing in the way, that heart wishing in opposing. Refusing in relenting, keeping order around her. A commanding force, that one of the past reflecting before them.

"Well this is certainly interesting." Ares folding his arms.

"I must agree." Freya blankly looking on.

Screaming within, a nightmare never ending. Despair of greatness, agony forever tormenting. Trusting nothing but pain, sleeping with one eye open. Crawling skin, steadily cracking. Hungering for revenge, that one standing amongst them. Wanting in taking the life of a deity of highness, importance of his participation. Unlikeliness of their alliance, a final play in place. Everyday going by, carrying agony inside of a hellish abyss. Lightness of currentness, those relishing in a moment. Valor listening to one, those gods having an idea of his time away from the heavens. That angel finding normalcy with them, niceness of it.

"Now then! Listen up!" Cyra commanding.

Treading within loneliness, surpassing trials. Awakening to her potential, one remaining, unable in completing it. Holding onto the smallest chance, enduring painfulness of massiveness. Horridness of the building block, one capable of turning the nigh impossible into an actuality. Rising once more, resisting the logicality of others. Selfishness guiding her way, those words chillingly striking those around her. Hearts filling with aspiration, shortness of time. Essentialness in boosting morale, the end quickly approaching. A final push in making, hopes and dreams riding on the line.

"Like it or not! We have to work together now! If we fall, everyone falls. Now I am not meant for the hero role or anything like that. Far from it, all I have are selfish desires. Desires that will never be realized so long as this beast who aims to dictate my life still draws breath. We each have our own reason for going up there, but nonetheless our goals unite! It is all or nothing now!" she strongly states.

"Peculiar you are, able in uniting the most unlikely. Blackness of your heart, yet also a guiding light..." Victor distantly thinking.

Running in the darkness, evading hands of bondage. Racing towards that faintest light, despair of greatness. Holding it in, steadily cracking. Unwillingness in relenting, her powerful resolve. Grasping the tiniest of hope, yearning to turn it into an actuality. Hatred for one of highness, necessity in joining in arms. Those gazing at her, inspiration from her words. Hearts pounding within, wanting in seeking the nigh impossible. Wind of gentleness, coldness of the breeze. Dust moving along, quietness of the surroundings. Everyone except for Valor readying themselves, that deity looking into the Sky Tower. His attention shortly on his old friend, fearfulness of heights grabbing him once again.

"Um...yeah...I never agreed to this...I'm cool with dying..."

"Why?" she questions in disbelief.

"Haha? Why?! Look how high up it is!" he points.

Holding the side of her head, trying to calm herself. A time and place existing for everything, those running close towards an ending. Quirkiness of her companion, expectance of it. Childishness of him, irrationality of his fear. Smaller points of old, those different from one another. A devil rising to the challenges, stifling her fears, pressing onward. That god of openness of his discomfort, playing on her better side. A bond of closeness, that never changing. A countdown in place, everyone of requirement. Facing him, folding her arms.

"One, you can fly you dumbass, two, you were going to take the kid extreme skydiving. And three, how do you jump back and forth between being afraid of heights or not?" she questions with annoyance in her tone.

Time of shortness, those around speechlessly looking at the two. Wondering of them, companions able in finding a moment in exchanging such words. Two meeting in times of yore, a flute drawing the attention of one from the heavens. Strangeness of the demon, a most welcoming experience. Those venturing through the worlds, nearness over the passing events. Beating within, words inside of a lock. A parting of dreadfulness, both wanting what is within. Obstacles in the way, a deity of grandness inching closer towards their ending. Defensively holding up his hands, proceeding in protecting his fear of senselessness.

"It comes and goes...when I'm motivated enough, the feeling goes away haha? But that thing...? Yeah...nnnooo..." He slowly shakes his head in refusal.

"This probably will not end well for him..." Victor scratching his cheek with his index finger, looking away.

Simpleness of experiences, one at the depths. Continuously walking, a stifling voice. A companion diving, trying to reach her. Racing after her, hands of shadows pursuing him. Grabbing him, pulling him away. Resisting this, forcing onward. Kindness of him, childishness of him. Two sides of appreciation, timing not of rightness. Efforts of all of essentialness, that maiden walking up to her old friend. Unease from the god, chills running down his spine. Her arm around his neck, that revolver in her hand. Those noticing, witnessing it at the head of the deity. Paleness of his expression, that supreme one silently praying to himself.

"Now, who are you more afraid of? That weapon? Or me?" she pleasantly questions.

"Haha?" he whimpers.

"Good." She proudly smiles.

Once riding along in the wind, wings no longer balancing. Falling below, sinking into the depths. Treading in loneliness, tides of harshness. Unwillingness in remaining in silence, shouting her soul. Grimness of the situation, that devil refusing in relenting. Smallness of the chances, this no less enough in opposing. Littleness of her support, that heart continuously holding on. A moment of simpleness, warmness within. Two of nearness, an extra push to a deity. That god gazing up to the Sky Tower, unable in getting out of this dilemma. Facing his fear, or confronting her, neither being options of pleasantness.

"Ooohh...when did I go wrong in my life...?" he hangs himself in defeat.

"Around the time you met me." She joyously responds.

A bond of closeness, such retaining even in times of terribleness. Events of old, wanting them again. An entity standing in the way, one above innumerable. Differences in power, a devil willing in rising to the challenge. Fearfulness within, searching for a solution. Holding onto the tiniest of hope, uniting the unlikely. Each in direction to the threat, the end of days upon them. Thickness of the air, malevolence stifling those within his presence. Immensity of the pressure increasing, loudness of his roar. Argent looking at the two, unsurprising of the situation. Two old friends, numerous meanings behind their bountiful words and actions.

"This...this is very normal..." Argent tilting his head.

"I can imagine." Victor turning away, folding his arms.

Once soaring free, blissfulness of the wind. Wings afar, vastness of distance. Hearts of freedom, pleasantness of it. Falling below, succumbing to a life of misery. Enduring for years, unwillingness in withstanding. Hatred at her core, planning her escape. Intention for her old friend in caring for her child, her life ending along with one of horribleness. That one of smallness following, returning for her own. Years of torturous experiences, an entity standing in the way of her deepest desire. Those around gazing at the two, uncertainness of them. Valor on board, this of confirmability. A final stand against one of highness, a devil trying to make the nigh impossible into an actuality.

"Well then...I guess since we are all in agreement, we should head up there now." Odin scratching the back of his head.

"Right." Ares covering his face with his right hand.

Building blocks along the way, horribleness of old. Each paving the way towards currentness, selfishness of her path. Those along with her, a goal aligning. Commonality of their cause, naturalness of enemies afterwards. Yet truth within their moment, a light in the deepest of blackness. Desperation of the situation, those coming out of their shells. Putting aside their differences, uniting against a threat of massiveness. Littleness of their opposition, this no less enough in resisting. That final battle approaching, Cyra looking towards the Sky Tower. A chance of success, some laughter existing in this time of crisis.

There is only one way I can think of to defeat this deity...heh, is this sadness within me? Emotions, that is what drives me, selfishness never yielding. Though, I suppose...in this moment, it is not so bad. I may have done many horrible things up until now, but at least I am not a beast...
