Recklessness of children, those going far. Venturing into the layer of a monster, bringing one back with them. One following her heart, pushing onward. Another racing behind her, friends of them. This one with them, littleness of a king. That girl glancing back to him, his vision on her. Witnessing her sadness, scraping his foot against the land. Walking in front of her, stomping down. Growling at the person ahead, deeply inhaling. His powerful roar, shockwaves piercing through. Not flinching at this, fiercely glaring at the beast. That one's quivering heart, backing down. Quickly hiding behind Minerva, peaking out at the man, this one meeting his challenge. That girl in awareness on this foolishness, curiosity of the outside. Her friend stepping forward, disapproval of the man towards him.
"Sorry...we were just curious, we made sure that no dragons will follow us here though..." Uneasily looking down.
Those of youth, children challenging themselves. Not rationalizing danger, going beyond. Concerning of this, naturalness of responses. Logicalness of it, fortune upon them. Entering into the layer of a monster, a beast coming from an egg. Littleness of that king, forming a different view. This to their fortune, befriending a creature of magnificence. Innocence of it, relishing in his time with them. Not understanding hostility, sadness from one of nearness. Trying in protecting her, incapability of doing so. Shielding himself behind her, fierceness of a man. Sighing from the person, his hand upon the side of his face. Frustrating of this, two managing in ensuring their safety. That girl placing her hand upon Reagan, gentleness of her touch, that one calming from this frightening moment.
"Levant!" a strict voice calling out.
Never ending trouble, expectance of it. Those venturing far, heading into the domain of a monster. That flinching boy, his mother's voice. Normalcy of this, a path in decision since the beginning. That lingering doubt, following his companion into this. Someone in her early thirties, a red dress upon her. Her long hair, crimson of it. Her piercing yellow eyes, that father behind him. Similarly in age, his blonde hair and velvet eyes. Casuals upon him, disapproval from both them. Dangerousness of his action, endangering himself. Bringing back a beast, alarming everyone.
"Boy, we tell you time and time and again. That this girl here is nothing but bad news." His father pointing at Minerva.
One existing in this place, a family not with her. Slightness of her vision below, trueness of their words. Her heart leading her elsewhere, tackling challenges above herself. Guidance not with her, finding her own path. Meeting a boy on a certain day, their growing bond. Trouble coming with her, her companion not minding. Running errands everywhere, youngness of her age. Making her own way, none taking her in. Learning from around her, watching them. Stacking on weight, a bad reputation coming from this. Painfulness of it, accepting it, this of her life.
"Come on now, no need to point fingers at the child. If there was anyone else out there, your son woulda been dead." That man folding his arms.
Awareness on her capabilities, one enduring the harshness of life. Developing on her own, observing those around her. One of smallness, this weight upon her. A heart yearning to break free, stepping beyond boundaries. A friend coming into her life, a bit of normalcy to her existence. Nearness of them, togetherness of their path. Trueness in the man's words, reliableness of her. Deepness of frustrations, an ending of betterment. One working many jobs, learning ins and outs. Recklessness no less, unavoidableness of this, youngness of her age.
"Alright, I am certain you both learned your lesson. The dragon can stay, but make sure he knows this place inside and out." That man warning.
Not expecting this day, children bringing a dragon into their home. Smallness of this one, a king in the making. Creatures soaring far, looking down at those below. Mightiness of them, challenging those above themselves. Braveness of them, feverishness of their hearts. Unwillingness in relenting, carving their own way forward. Words to the children, their smiling faces. Agreeing to the condition, naturalness in it. Thickening air, this catching Minerva's attention. Steadily looking around, chilling of this feeling. Similarity to the forest, intensifying of it.
"Everyone, prepare the defenses." Minerva urging.
This unsettling feeling, unable in staying any longer. Fleeing with a dragon, something watching from the shadows. Safeness for a while, this presence before her once more. Beating within, warning those in this place. Carefulness of the man, that boy looking around. Others in this area, their attention on their surroundings. Shifting in the wind pattern, growling of Reagan. Those hills afar, loudness of howling. Eyes in the direction, a wyvern running out. Blades for wings, shocking of this. Redness of its vision, its targets in sight. That man alarmingly giving orders, many taking cover. A horn in his hand, sounding it. Echoing of it, this alerting everyone.
A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
"Minerva! We gotta go!" Levant warning.
"Come on!" the parents grabbing their son's arm, pulling him away.
"Minerva!" he reaches for her.
Conflict upon them, an approaching threat. A boy moving further away from her, trying to reach his friend. That girl pushing along Reagan, growling at the beast. Following along, not breaking his attention. Those venturing far, a girl sensing hostility. Pressing onward, coming upon a dragon. This one with her, a threat of nearness. That monster leaping high, ferociousness of it. Striking down, crashing through buildings. Rubble flying far, surrounding structures caving in. Mightiness of its roar, paining of it. Charging ahead, continuously destroying shelters. Spreading fire, its wings setting this place ablaze. Quickness of it, locking onto Levant and his family. Those fleeing few, rage in this monster. Ascending above, shocking of this. That descending wyvern, its nearing presence. That mother pushing away her son, devastating of this. A beast colliding into two, crashing through a building.
"MOTHER! FATHER!!!" that boy screaming out.
Dangerousness of a venture, following his friend into a forest. Two heading far, finding their way into a nest. A hatching dragon, one taking to them. Unsettling of a presence, fleeing the area. Carefulness of them, trying in breaking away from it. This energy before them, a monster attacking their home. Parents protecting their child, that boy trembling at this. Falling to his knees, gazing at the collapsing structure. Raging fire, those flames stretching far above. That man from a distance, guiding many to safety. Minerva racing to her friend, soon standing before him, urging him to rise. Conflict around them, this place once in peace.
A monster invading, turning their lives upside down. Tragedy on display, a boy losing his parents. His trembling gaze, his hands touching down. Scraping the land, trying to process this. That descending wyvern, landing in front of them. Loudness of its roar, echoing of its sound-wave. Lowering itself, glaring at the two. Darkness of its burning eyes, growling at the children. That boy unable in acting, this monster approaching. Unsettling of this, that girl blocking its path. Fireballs colliding into the beast, Regan flying around it. Exploding attacks against its wings, anger in this wyvern. Striking at this king of smallness, one narrowly moving around the assault. Continuing his barrage, smaller attacks of fire.
A threat coming upon this place, lives in shambles. Rubble around them, fierceness of a monster. Smallness of a king, that one protecting two of nearness. Racing towards those children, landing in front of them. Staring down this beast, grinding his foot against the land. Growling at it, furiousness of that wyvern. Charging at Reagan, leaping above. Locking onto its target, the one of littleness meeting its ferocity. Two approaching the other, that wyvern breaking through, harshly striking the face of this small ruler. Painfully screeching, shocking of this to the girl. Immenseness of the impact, pushing him back.
Unable in balancing himself, sliding towards a cliff. Hastiness of her, racing to him. Narrowly slipping behind the dragon, pushing against him, trying to stop this. Incapability of the boy in doing anything, madness around them. Reinforcements rushing in, furiousness of that wyvern. Those surrounding it, that girl's attention behind her. That approaching edge, two falling off of it. Desperately reaching for that king of smallness, that one turning in her direction. Diving to her, expanding his wings. Nearing her, wrapping them around her. Facing away, shielding her. Both crashing down, harshness of the tides, water splashing far above.
Selfishness of hearts, those pursuing in their way. A child seeking more, venturing into a forest. Meeting a dragon, this one attaching to her. Diving into danger, shielding her from the impact below. Everything going black, those eyes of hers instantly opening. That young woman arching forward, gasping for air. Many years since then, tragicness of the past. That morning light shining down, her age around twenty. Darkness of her armor, a cloth wrapping around her neck, a cast preserving her left arm. This grassy field around them, trees in the distance, two behind an enormous rock.
Gazing at the injury, remembering her fall. Most actions not with it, some simple things of a possibility. Never giving in, her powerful resolve. Her long hair, reflecting snow. Those eyes of the blue sky, her attention on Reagan. That beast resting beside her, largeness of him, a scar across his face, missing an eye. Standing from the ground, that dragon noticing. Awakening from his slumber, rising to his feet, shaking away his grogginess. Massively towering over her, this one no longer a king of littleness.
"Enough rest, we still have a job to do." Faintly smiling at him.
Tormenting memories, a day never leaving her mind. Everything slipping out of her hands, unable in returning home. An injury upon her, patching it herself. Learning a lesson, terribleness out there. Not giving in, continuing with her partner. Efforts over her years, making her way. Living her life, this one with her. Facing her, that beast barking. Strangeness of him, his wagging tail. This no less of him, a point in his personality. One mistaking her for his mother in those times, this leading to their bond. Gratefulness for this, hearts connecting in a world of vastness.
"Let us go." Calmly walking onward.
Flowing streams, endlessness of possibilities. Tragedies in existence, terribleness throughout. Those finding their way, enduring cruelness. Warmness in the presence of the other, hearts soaring free. Uncertainness of a future, that dragon eternally following her. Both suffering wounds, this not stopping them. Rising to their challenges, feverishly resisting. Continuing onward, their souls on display. Pieces of their bodies, never relenting, much in doing. Obstacles of life, working with it. Not backing down, tackling what is ahead, their burning resolves.
Our bodies broken, yet this not keeping us down. Many years since then, that terrible day. Levant...sorry, for everything. Though, do not blame Reagan for what happened...
