Chapter 6: A Vessel Filling with Life(Part 3)

Analyzing the condition around her, this unfavorable terrain. Her opponent locking the field, preventing her from changing it.

These tactics to her mind, expecting them from one. Proceeding forward, heading down towards the land.

Shortly stepping onto it, Ethan moving by, shielding the noble-woman from the harsh storm. That maiden facing her side, looking above.

Seeing the deity flying high, a half beast, half humanoid creature. Claws layering with wings, the same with her feet. Thick feathers covering her, their cold eyes to the mercenary.

"Expecting me huh, I suppose it is no surprise." Atlalune walking onward.

Everything steadily rounding back, a suicidal mission long ago. Taking it up, betting on the smallest chance. An ambush on her, that diversion towards an attack. Enemies intending to crush Valice, removing an important piece from the equation.

Accounting for her survival, springing a secondary trap, pinning the princess' demise on her. Seeking after a dragon for years, not knowing about the link to it. Her guiding hatred for a certain deity, feeling it somewhere nearby.

Her hasty heart, coming closer to her target. Passing many bodies, countless weapons on the ground. Buildings in ruin, the harsh wind ripping away at everything. Eventually finding herself at the center of the city, Siren standing before her.

Expanding her mighty wings, powerfully screeching. The intensifying wind, tearing apart large chunks of the earth. These spiraling objects, the maiden's cautious eyes on her opponent.

"You are definitely the most monstrous one I have met so far." Her defensive stance.

Clashing with multiple gods, each different from the rest. Some able to communicate, pressing her on her direction. Their reason for it, her determination to push past their reason.

This one before her, a monster bringing a chaotic storm. An entity not able to speak, only caring about the conflict ahead. The maiden feeling the heavy force around her, thinking on her direction to go forward.

"My knives are pretty much useless in this weather. Fine, I will have to rely on Titan's power here." Some unease from her.

From between dimensions, the Iconoclast watching. Bearing witness to the path of one, someone stepping further into a domain not of her own. Feverishly pursuing her goal, not stopping until her deepest desire is within her grasp.

These guiding sentiments, a heart embracing its selfishness. Tackling challenges above herself, refusing to remain in silence. Siren ascending into the air, the fiend swiftly circling around. Locking onto her target, shortly diving in.

Nearing the knight, this immense force against her. Crashing her fist into the beast's talon, cracking their surroundings. That foe immediately sweeping her feet, connecting into the maiden's rib, hitting her afar. Pursuing her, their claw above.

Atlalune rushing to the ground, avoiding the strike. This goddess not stopping, continuing in her frenzy, charging down at her. The maiden touching the earth, pressing back on it. Dashing away, her enemy crushing the area, rubble flying everywhere.

"She is like a damn storm herself..." Stepping back, uneasily scowling at her enemy.

The deity's fast attacks, the great force in each collision. The nonstop assaults on her, a goddess commanding a field in its entirety.

The mercenary looking onward, watching the fiend rising into the air. Cannonballs firing towards the foe, crashing into the beast. Rapidly colliding into the entity, explosions spreading through the air.

The goddess' great fury, rushing far above. Increasing her output, ripping apart the earth. Forming an enormous spike over her, locking onto the knight. Launching it at her, this hastily approaching assault.

"A ranged attack only made things worse..."

This pressure around the mercenary, an opponent bringing everything into one spot. Their full attention on a single foe, creating this chaotic hell inside of it. The maiden running forward, slipping under the attack.

Watching it pierce into the land, bringing more of Titan's power to the surface. Immediately turning, swiftly colliding a kick into the spike, breaking it into pieces.

Standing there, her attention on her target. Flipping one after the next into the air with her foot, rapidly firing it at the deity above. Siren powerfully flapping her wings, hitting away the attacks.

This beast shortly flying around, circling the maiden. Atlalune trailing them, her growing unease. All the while, cannons and other weaponries firing from afar.

These assaults colliding into the fiend, smoke filling the air, that foe emerging without harm. On another end, Sol guiding others to safety, shielding them from the falling debris with her magic.

Her concerning vision to the battle, seeing Siren diving. That maiden narrowly avoiding the attack, rubble scattering high.

"Hold on...there is a way for me to turn this is around. And it is with Helios' power..." Her certain vision.

That space still with her, her awareness on its countless possibilities. A way to shift this situation, her eyes meeting with her opponent's own.

Pressing back on the ground, flipping over another attack. The goddess looking above, watching a white void steadily eating away at the surroundings.

That force overtaking the area in a space of nothingness, no wind, no time, a vast emptiness. Siren looking around, flapping her wings, unable to call on her powers any longer. Shortly facing the maiden, seeing her body burning in fire.

"Now it is time, you will witness what lies in my soul." Her fist over her chest.

This opportunity before her, having a small window in her hands. Her willingness to see it through, that foe's increasing fury. Lunging at the mercenary, the goddess striking down at the knight.

Meeting this force, the power of Phoenix harshly igniting. This spreading fire, enveloping her target, that enemy gathering it into an inferno.

The maiden leaping back, releasing her control on the power. Destabilizing the flame, its violent exertion, scorching the deity. Breaking the realm, Siren weakly on the ground. The storm no more, her shaky vision above.

Atlalune descending with two knives, stabbing into her skull, slamming her into the land. Releasing massive fire, incinerating the entity. Drawing the beast's power into her body, assimilating the goddess' power.

That maiden heavily breathing, feeling fast movements. From above, the dark dragon descending on her, their glimmering malefic scales. Glancing behind, Rona nearing her.

Bringing Titan's shield to the surface, these foes colliding into her. Harshly unleashing a joint attack, shattering the barrier. Darkness piercing high into the sky, the mercenary crashing down from afar, blood leaving her body.

"I do not plan to make the same mistake with you again, Atlalune." Rona's back facing her.

"R--Rona...five years I waited for this opportunity..." The struggling knight.

Expecting a pincer attack, her ex-commander's precision overtaking her judgment. This dire situation, her weak vision ahead. Watching the dark dragon descending next to her, the maiden's boiling blood.

Watching the beast burning away at the city, flames stretching tall. A night forever with her, her chance to finally bringing meaning to the demise of her friend. These great wounds on her, her rising will to oppose.

"If there was another way, I would have taken it. However, we are from different kingdoms, I have to do what is expected of me." Slightly looking away.

"And does that justify taking the life of someone who trusted you like family?!" Atlalune's harsh voice to her.

"That is a choice I have to live with every single day..." Her sad eyes.

Five years I waited for this chance. I will bring meaning to Estelle's demise, and Rona. You will feel the sharp end of my fangs...
