Chapter 31 – Communication troubles
----------------------------------------
Gundry’s appearance made Ramiel thought that maybe Gundry came here to make him fetch things again. Ramiel wouldn’t want any of that so he faces up to Gundry and made gestures, trying to explain that he doesn’t want to work for the lady anymore. Gundry didn’t understand any of the gestures that Ramiel is doing. He made actions and tried communicating with Ramiel.
Desha looked at the two making weird gestures and actions. She thought it was dumb, so she looked at Felli with a rather confused look. Felli glances at Desha and said.
“What?”
“I am surprised that boss lady managed to deal with Ramiel. And why is there a cat on your head?”
The feline creature rested upon Felli’s silver hair. Felli looked up at her forehead and answered. “You mean Felina? She recently came back from her trip to some of the merchants.”
“The cat has a name?”
“It has and it can deliver letters too. Honestly, Felina is much better when it comes to communicating compared to poor Ramiel there. Look at him go, acting so confusing.”
Desha casts eyes back at the two still making gestures and actions. She then heard a meow behind her, so she stared at the eyes of the cat and spoke the first thing that came to her mind.
“Boss Lady, your cat is quite adorable.”
“Thank you. Felina is a one of kind feline companion of mine. She saved my life many times too.”
“Really, that cat saved your life once boss lady?” Desha was quite surprised.
“Of course, I said that Felina can bring in letters right? She is quite fast, so during my time as a caravan master. Feline always gets sent to scout the route first.”
“Eh, but shouldn’t that take a long time?” said Desha.
“It would be if Felina was a normal cat. She can run faster than a one-horned stallion. She is a special cat after all.” Felli patted her pet cat. The cat quite liked being patted.
“I see. But I should have expected this from the boss lady. You are quite a special existence on your way too.” Desha said. She knows the reputation of Felli. Hence, being acquainted with the bloody caravaneer made Desha quite known to the thugs of the town. Along with Ramiel, she was getting benefits from just working under her.
“Is that so?” Felli replied while continuously patting the head of Felina as if she enjoyed it. Desha stared at her boss’s rather idle actions and asked.
“Can I pet Felina too?”
“Sure, go ahead. I think she likes it.”
Desha got the permission so she touched Felina’s fluffy head. Felina, with its thick cotton ball like fur, made her rather adorable. Desha liked the feeling of the fur and she could not help but feel relaxed as she pats the head of the cat. Felli saw how delighted her employee was and she thought that it wasn’t a bad choice to hire Desha. They just get along fine.

“As for Ramiel...”
She placed her eyesight towards Ramiel and Gundry who has been going at it for a while. She doesn’t know if they really not understand themselves or just playing around. The two wobbled their hands like mentally handicapped individuals so much, that it made Felli popped a vein on her forehead.
“Okay, that’s enough.”
Felli grabs the feline companion sitting on top of her head and handed it to Desha. She took Felina quite well and hugged her within her arms. She quite adored the fluffy cat so she held it comfortably as she looked at Felli walking towards Gundry and Ramiel.
Felli approached the two and tapped their shoulders. Felli then looked at Ramiel, pointed at him, and move her finger towards Gundry’s direction. Ramiel stopped for awhile, tilted his head and seems to have started pondering. Felli took a deep breath first, before pointing at Ramiel again, made a walking motion with her fingers, and then pointed at Gundry.
Ramiel tapped his palm as he seemingly understood Felli. He looked at Gundry as if to confirm it, which Gundry nodded his head. Ramiel managed to process what Gundry what he wants, which made Ramiel shake his head as if refusing to follow Gundry. Seeing that, Felli smacked her forehead.
She stared coldly at Ramiel and strongly pointed out for him to follow Gundry. He understood that rather threatening motion so without a choice. Ramiel removed the white cloth tied around his waist and walked up to the stairs.
Felli sighs as Ramiel went upstairs. She then looked at Gundry and said.
“Was that helpful?”
“Yes, Lady Felli. Thank you for that.” Gundry bowed his head.
“Good. Now pay up for the annoyance fee,” said Felli.
“Excuse me?” Gundry titled his head.
“Pay up. You came here to take my worker to fetch things for you. So pay me at least a silver coin for lending him, and another one for being so annoying to look at. Is that understood?”
“.......”
Gundry frowned heavily at the words of Felli. But despite that, he grabbed the bag of coins in his pocket and gave the silver coins that Felli wanted. She took it quite well, she smirked and told Gundry.
“Thank you for that. Just make sure not to be hard on him. Oh, and please don’t let him die. He still needs to work in this Inn of mine. The lad still has quite a debt that he needs to pay.”
“Okay?”
“Then that’s done.”
Felli walked back to where Desha is and grabbed Felina. Patting her cat’s head, Felli made a soft expression, as if she was being relaxed by the mere fluffiness of the cloud like cat that she owns. Desha joined in playing with the cat as if forgetting that she needs to clean the tables up.
Ramiel walked down the stairs and saw the two caressing a fluffy cat. He wondered where that cat came from but ignored it for now since he wanted to finish his business with Gundry and the lady scribe he serves.
