Chapter 22 – The Requester
----------------------------------------
The sixth day of the Tenth Cycle, of the Season of Spring, the whole town of Tal went to their normal lives. In the Orient Inn, located just next to the business street’s block, is as usual, busy with various customers eating or drinking early. The Inn became rather famous over the years, and with the proprietress, is a friend of the mortal Reaper himself. It got quite a good reputation, and even the Lord acknowledges its existence.
The other Inns could not compete but with the Town of Tal being flooded with merchants every day. The owners of those various Inn’s could not complain. Besides, they rather not deal with the bloody caravaneer or the Reaper Le Carnifex baring their fangs at them.
So the Orient Inn has become rather prosperous. And with it being prosperous, the one and only waiter of the Inn became too overworked. With him being too busy, even the proprietress of the Inn, the bloody caravaneer decided to hire another waitress. Someone from the lower class streets, unlike the slums, the waitress that the proprietress hired knew what to expect when working with the bloody caravaneer.
So with the new waitress joining the Orient Inn, the workload became less. The Mute Waiter got his rest after being worked to hell during the three days of working. The Proprietress gave him mercy and paid him for the overwork he did. But due to the Mute Waiter needing medicines for the infection he had. He begged the proprietress to allow him to work or find something that allows him to earn money.
The convincing took a long time due to communication problems. The new waitress of the Orient Inn didn’t understand their gestures and keep to herself. She found it hard to communicate with the mute, and her only concern is to earn meager money for her mother and sister’s little kid. She is quite a hard worker so the proprietress likes her. The best part about her is that she can actually communicate with the proprietress, and she is a good talker. Something that the proprietress rather really wanted, after experiencing grievances due to a certain person being too cowardly to take her offers.
The Mute Waiter who doesn’t understand the language got left out by the ladies. So since there are fewer customers during the middle of the afternoon. The Mute waiter bid his goodbye at the two ladies.
“Goodbye.”
He said those words. The two then replied with. “Okay.” and let him walk away from the Inn. The Mute Waiter isn’t really a mute. But merely lacking in the speaking the language or knowing the language department, though at the moment he can greet customers, say thank you, good luck, goodbye and have a good night or day.
His vocabulary is rather limited. But if he applies himself, he should be able to grasp bits of the language until he can actually communicate with others. So until that day comes, the Mute Waiter shall live his life in silence and gestures.

The Muted Waiter walked along the roads of the Business Streets. His hands in his pockets, the Muted Waiter step towards a building that he visited before. In this building lives the healer named Delo. He is the person that the Muted Waiter buys medicine from.
The Muted Waiter is currently experiencing a rather swollen throat, caused by eating too many nearly rotten organs of pigs and sheep’s, due to his first month in the world. And now that the consequence of his actions is happening, the Mute Waiter can only sigh in annoyance.
Entering the building, the Mute Waiter looked around first. Then he walked into the room where the Healer usually stays and gestured him about the medicines. The Healer already knows his inability to communicate so he was ready, and brought the medicines towards the Mute Waiter.
Ramiel grabbed the medicines. Handed the Silver Coins towards the Healer and said thanks. He can at least say thanks now, and with that done. He gestured at the healer if he knows a job that even someone like Ramiel can do. The Healer didn’t really understand so Ramiel gestured by pointing his finger at his pocket, then to his pocket and open his palm as if he wanted to beg.
The Healer did not understand any of it. So Ramiel scratched his head first and then mimicked someone working and then him lining up to get his pay. The Healer understood that he wanted to work. So he pondered about how to tell the Mute. The Healer, despite him being annoyed, then grudgingly pointed out where to go. The Healer took a map, made Ramiel pay for it and circle the location where to go with his trigger finger.
Then the Healer made a note that Ramiel would give to the requester, and the healer then forced Ramiel to pay up five silver coins for being such a hard to deal customer. After getting what he wanted, at the cost of his silver coins. Ramiel left the building with a sour mood and head to the place where the Healer told him to go.
The place he needed to go is located in the rather high-class districts. A place, where the houses are made of sculpted stones and fine bricks. This place is rather tight when it comes to visitors and luckily for Ramiel. He is rather cleaned up and is wearing the cloak that the golden-haired lady gave him. With the cloak being rather high quality, Ramiel found his way to the place where the healer told him to go and knocked on the doors.
Ramiel waited for at least twenty seconds before he got answered. If he stayed more than a minute, he probably would have escaped the area since the stares of the finely well-dressed individuals of the district made him rather pissed. That is why as the door opens, and as Ramiel handed the note.
He got invited to the place where the healer pointed him to go.
