Chapter 115 – Lonesome Hero and The World's Fate

----------------------------------------

Rains of spears rain upon this person, he was able to deflect the ones in front of him, but he was unable to take care of the ones in his back. The spears, the arrows, stabbed on his back. He moved a bit forward, yet he keeps his legs strong as blood flows from his mouth.

The wind was so dry, it smelled like blood. The person, who has many arrows and spears in his back, could no longer smell anything other than blood and gore. His black hair, dark as the night fluttered behind his back. His half-closed eyes, his grimy appearance made him be especially deadly.

The sky above him was filled with red clouds in form of skulls. The moon was dyed with crimson blood. The howling of beasts, monsters, abominations, astrals, and demons can be heard within the distance. The clacking of bones, metal being dragged and the ever loud cries of the dead sounded out.

This person has already had scars all over his body. The spears and arrows on his back that were sticking out came loose as his regeneration ability activated. His black duster longcoat was already shredded, he wasn’t wearing anything on his torso and now he is relying on the toughness of his skin to face the enemies.

Julian is strong. He could handle anything after getting strong. His powers didn’t come free; he grabbed them forcefully at the hands of a Nephilim and tore many monsters back in the past.  Those days were gruesome and Julian can still remember how he managed to survive.

“I am getting nostalgic.”

Julian muttered as he runs at a breakthrough speed at the rows of enemies before him. His speed was due to his strength, and with a single fist, he punched the head of a Minotaur wielding a bow. That single punch was able to kill the Minotaur, no it could be said that the Minotaur had his head blown off.

Julian retracted his fist, he twisted his body, as he rotated and kick two Minotaur’s, blowing their head off too. His eyes caught sight of a rugged sword; he went towards it and ripped it out of the hands of the Minotaur. Getting a sword, Julian smiled as he then turns into a living shredder.

Blood spilled, organs, horns, fur, nails, guts, bones, ligaments, muscles, eyes, tongues, hearts, lungs, intestine flew everywhere as Julian passes by. The rugged sword on his hand was already crumbling, simply because of how he overused it. Julian has a monstrous sword arm, so unless the sword is well crafted, it wouldn’t even last a single second at Julian’s hand.

Julian was waving his fist around, his legs breaking bones, his elbows breaking skulls. He was quite agile, so he would be able to evade a charge from the Minotaur’s. He kept on fighting, but as he does, he felt someone holding on to his leg.

He got pinned down as he was unable to move. Various swords and spears targeted him but it barely dig deep into his skin, but as it stands, he could still the force of impact that the swords and spears do to him. Julian didn’t want to be pinned down any longer so even though he has less mana now after using it to seal the dark elven lands, he conjured a sword out of thin air and used it kill the Minotaur’s around him.

Julian stood up, blood was all over him, and no it was like he painted with blood. His black hair was dyed, his clothes, and his skin, all covered in blood.

There were still many left to slay.

So he went and rampaged on.

...

Julian found himself in another hill of corpses. Out of breath, his arms shivering, his legs wavering, and his eyes widened open. If it wasn’t for his focus, commitment and sheer will to fight then he would have given up. In his head, he wanted to slaughter all these living pests.

He wasn’t that hateful at these creatures but as Julian stays long with them, he eventually a found a fanatical hatred towards these bunch of creatures. He hated their appearance, the sound they make, and their disgustingness. He never thought about it, but now, he now feels like that the Kingdom of Deus’s fanatical xenophobic nature against non-humans and monsters were right.

He didn’t form a grudge against the non-humans, but he now absolutely hates monsters more than ever. That is why, as he sees another batch of monsters coming out of the portal of hell. Julian smiled and said terrifyingly.

“Rip and tear them...”

The monsters could feel like they meet a much more disgusting creature than them, and before they could even act, Julian was already there, ripping their fellow monsters like nothing. The other monsters got alarmed, but not even an hour, the whole word was slaughtered by Julian.

After slaughtering the monsters, Julian calmed down a bit. He looked at the flying figure above the sky, ever so beautiful, graceful and heart-tugging. Julian felt like there were still strings attach from him towards Meia, he could not deny that the reason why she was angry, because of the promise he made towards her. He promised to take her out of the dungeon, but in the end, he found out that there was no way for him to leave without killing her. So having no choice, Julian had to slay her without her even finding it out.

And even though Julian did that, he still felt that the real reason why she is enraged is that he replaced her with someone.

“As strong, no, even stronger than ever...”

“Sadly, I am strong...”

“Indeed, that is why I will be doing this!”

Meia immediately made a giant circle out of the sky. Julian threw his conjured sword at Meia, stabbing her stomach. It prevented her from summoning a magic circle, and Julian before could hunt Meia down, he saw astral demons fall from the sky, far too disgusting for the human mind to handle.

Seeing this, Julian summoned another conjured sword. These cosmic beings cannot be handled by the others, and if he fails here, then the world will end.
