First Arc Final Chapter: The War Conclusion

First Arc Final Chapter: The War Conclusion

The Kings and Queens of the Breille and the Kerias Kingdom withdrew their forces. By a stroke of miracle, no casualties are reported and only a little portion of their resource reserved was touched. Both armies never had the opportunity to clash as interventions unknown to the mass happened.

The people, especially the citizens called this intervention the Miracle of Fairy Forest, the vast forest where the Kerias Army stopped from their tracks and the very forest that had Breille army to withdraw.

By the order of the King of Kerias through the biddings of his councilor, he withdrew the army a week after they started the campaign. Together with the councilors, convincing words, Prince Arytorio Kerias announces that the blame lies with him.

With that in mind, Prince Arytorio Kerias personally traveled towards Breille territory and reaches out to Princess Meriyal Breille. In response, Princess Meriyal Breille personally meets Prince Arytorio Kerias to not to accept any apology but to have an armistice.

In a sense, it became an entirely different outcome that the citizens hoped for.

A compromise, a trade, an economic exchange and in the paper of the armistice written and agreed by both parties, a stronger and better exchange of merchandises that each kingdom deters to trade in the past.

It became a war through words and wits as the armistice was repeatedly revised for the reason that each kingdom wanted to gain a more profitable advantage.

It took over three months to finish the said treaty because of revisions and mistake. Aspara, the councilor of the king of Kerias personally set out to have an exchange of words with Princess Meriyal.

Countless debate and battle of wits keep happening between the two as they tried to elevate each of their assets.

Ersha Einhart was called back to her territory to handle militaristic insufficiency so the Einhart Family called Reysha Einhart to become Aspara’s escort. Her insight and perspective greatly helped Aspara to gain advantages to their discussion which Aspara herself laments over of how wise Reysha is.

On Princess Meriyal’s side is a nobleman called Hansen who became her direct instructor and advisor on this specific political strife. Her escorts are Ries D’Levierre who knows the heart of the low and middle-class citizen and Lala Forchure, Ries’ friend.

Showing an overwhelming knowledge about politics, Hansen was able to push back Aspara and Reysha several times and Ries’ indomitable will and sense of justice become a strong wild card that played in the talk.

It is as Falikh said, the direction of the war changes into a more diplomatic one that discusses advantages and disadvantages. It was not a showdown of strength and power but was a showdown of each side’s wits and brains.

In the end, Breille Kingdom becomes more advantageous than the Kerias Kingdom due to being at fault that Prince Arytorio Kerias admitted.

Since taking the blame and promising to make up for all of his inadequate actions for their kingdom, Prince Arytorio Kerias was highly evaluated by the people and he didn’t just stop from there.

He stopped from aiming for the crown and began becoming a man of virtue and justice. He vigorously moves from one place to another, territory to territory to do work while the three months of the vicious war of words happen.

Princess Meriyal Breille immediately implemented the new industrial trade between the kingdom of Breille and Kerias and provided a safe route with a paved road.

Aspara becomes a little vexed upon losing in the talk, however, it can be said that she did her best. She was able to implement taxes on each product that the Kerias Kingdom will sell in the Breille Kingdom which was readily accepted.

Dairy products produces, and livestock become more accessible for the Kerias Kingdom in exchange for agreeing to create magical products that the Breille Kingdom need such as rune stones.

After a taxing three months of endless talk, Reysha stayed on their territory for one more month in request of her elder sisters, Ersha and Yrsha Reinhart.

As the most pampered among the siblings, Reysha Einhart was treated more childishly and was regarded as their family’s golden treasure even though she is recognized as a genius and the strongest in their Kingdom.

In reality, she is her family’s dress up doll and such.

In total, Reysha Einhart became busy for the past four months and even in the last month her sisters begrudgingly let her go.

Today, Reysha returns to the forest where the band of bandits resides.

“What in the world did you guys do?” Is what comes out from Reysha’s mouth as she stares blankly at the sight behold to her.

“That’s a little complicated and too much of a question…” Answered by Eiru who tried to laugh enthusiastically, however, Reysha’s twitching cheek made it difficult for him. “Also, welcome back. Good work!” followed by Eiru.

“Oh my, you are here already Miss Reysha. Welcome back. So, what do you think?” Mika appeared from their back and smiles at Reysha.

Reysha’s rested head once again attacked by a grinding headache.

Only four has passed…

No, those four months has become a crucial point. She never knew something this absurd happened while she is not here. Her absence becomes a blind spot for her and thus, this occurred.

“Just what…grr….I want some explanations.” Reysha said as she shook her head while massaging her temples.

What in front of Reyha is…

A two-storey mansion stands in front of her with a grand veranda on the front. It is surrounded by a black fence which two meters in height. Inside the fence, there are a lot of roses and grandly decorate bushes. High-class chairs and tables are set out in the front and a garden laid out with more flowers spreads out.

The glasses, the windows, the wall, the doors, even the roof are all high class. A mansion made for high ranking nobles with astounding width and height.

In short, something that shouldn’t exist here four months ago stands in front of Reysha…

“HA HAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHA!! HOW IS IT, MASTER?! DO YOU LIKE IT?! HAHAHAHA!” Falikh said as he stands atop the veranda with his one foot on the railing while his arms are crossed.

Falikh’s is wearing dashing black clothes that could be said that can only be designed by the best, tailored clothes that scream and further compliments his handsomeness.

“GET DOWN HERE YOU DUMB BASTARD!” Reyhsa shouted in fury with a busting vein in her forehead.

“NO!” Falikh replied while still laughing and runs away inside.

Reysha couldn’t believe it and hang her head in utter vexation and awe at the same time.

Because she was shouting earlier, Teth appears from the front door of the mansion and walks towards Reysha with a troubled face.

“Ahaha…I’m really sorry Miss Reysha. I will just explain it to you myself.” Teth said as he gestures with an apology.

“Yeah…I really want some explanation…” Reysha simply replied with a sigh.

“You see…the night that we infiltrated Kerias Castle…this and that happened and we got separated from each other. In the stroke of luck or you could say, the devil’s luck, Falikh found the treasury…well…after that...you know what happened…” Teth nervously explained.

“Don’t worry…it’s only natural since you guys are bandits…not a charity group…” Reysha simply dismissed it because she knows that headache is bound to strike her again if she mopes over it.

She just crouches down on the spot and held her head down while letting out a sigh.

“The mountain bandits across this forest helped us with the materials and the construction. We used the money that he plundered to fund this. I am really sorry…” Teth followed his explanation.

However, Reysha wasn’t listening anymore.

She just sat there, thinking of everything that happened.

What is life, she asked herself.

And so, with that, the curtain of the story of war closes.

But wait!

The story is just beginning.

More fun days are bound to come and more stories of people are waiting to be told.

Reysha Einhart, with a weird twist of fate, met a handful of bandits with faces akin to princes. Connections and rivalry, Fun and thrill, and above all, stealing hearts are waiting to surprise everyone.

Meanwhile, at the Kingdom of Mesola…

The king of Mesola Kingdom sits on his throne. In front of him are dozens of magus from the church.

A strong light surges the surrounding as the circle they prepared shone with bright divine light.

A summoning is in progress.

Not just a normal summoning for spirits to listen to prophecy and such, not a summoning to call for a beast, but a summoning to call a hero from another world.

As the light goes out, from the middle of the circle came a lone girl.

Short brown hair and deep crystal blue eyes and a face of someone Oriental came out. She could not be called a beauty but rather, her childlike face announces adorableness.

Her eyes show high energy and her lips didn’t show any displease as she grins. She is wearing a short skirt and a shirt uncommon to this world.

The girl looked up to the king and smiles.

“Are you the one who summoned me?” She said in a straight but lively tone.

The King nodded in affirmation and stands up. Suddenly, the king bowed his head towards her and so, the other people in the room did so.

“We welcome you, Hero given to us by the gods. I am Hyre Mesola, the king of Mesola Kingdom. It’s a pleasure to be acquainted with you.” The king said with sincerity.

The girl broke out in a huge grin as her eyes sparkle in joy.

“Wah! A real fantasy world! It’s time to use all of my knowledge from gaming and from Granny Camille!”She excitedly cried out in her mind.

“My name is Victoria! As my name indicates, I bring victory. King of Mesola Kingdom, I am here to answer your call of summoning!” The girl who looks no older than twenty years old but not younger than eighteen years old said.

“Oh?! Such words, I am honored to meet you even further, Hero Victoria. Now then, shall I talk about the reason we called you.” The king said as he genuinely broke out in a smile.

“Fufufu…Hahaha…HAHAHA! So, those religious bastards summoned the hero after all!” laughed by a girl who sat on a throne.

The girl dons a red left eye and green right eyes. A fang that gives away that she is vampire gleams in the darkness. She takes a sip of the red liquid in her goblet…

She is a vampire but it is not blood…it’s just a tomato juice…

She wears a fashioned gothic Lolita dress with ribbons and laces all over.  Her silky and long blond hair is fashioned with a mob cap with beautiful laces.

It’s the demon lord, Ivy Hellbeing.

“Fufufu…I think it’s time for me to move. As the invincible demon lord who can stop time, I, Ivy, will bring chaos! Bwahahaha! With my Za war--!” Ivy was about to say something but someone disturbed her.

“Your highness, here’s your fresh refill of tomato juice!” a servant came with a bottle containing her tomato juice.

“DAMN IT! DON’T INTERRUPT ME IN MY MONOLOGUING SPEECH!” She blurted in utter rage but her face which dyed in redness says otherwise.

The simple servant bowed in fear.

“E-Ehem…y-you didn’t hear anything, alright? I’ll let you go for this one time so forget that you heard me saying anything.” She said while she swings her head away.

“Y-Yes…your highness demon lord!” The servant said I panic before bolting out of her room.

“Guh…that was…a bit of a blow to my sanity. Whatever, I shall have my fill again.” She simply said as she sat down again and retrieved the juice.
