“This is ridiculous! Can’t we just stop for a moment and let me change my clothes?!” Eiru protested with angry countenance but his words are tinged with a careful whisper.
“Not yet dear Eiru. We may still have use of your…angel persona…Thenea…Pfft…!” Mika mockingly said as he tried to stop his laughter. There wasn't even a hint of concern for his predicament, it was only purely for everyone’s entertainment.
“At…At least the wig…” he pleaded Mika.
However, Mika didn’t say anything and only showed a calm and gentle smile free of any guilt. The succeeding men beside Mika have the same expression that only made Eiru sunk in despair. It was an indication that he can’t do anything anymore with his situation.
“Since I hear no more complaints, let’s go, to the treasury!!” Falikh cheered as he walks faster than the rest of them while throwing his fist in the air.
At that very moment, at that very specific moment, at the dead of the night where only the darkness offered by the lightless realm with only the moonlight illuminating the whole visage of the place, everyone’s cheeks twitched from Falikh’s words.
Eiru, Teth, Mika are all looking at Falikh with dead suspecting eyes while Spoof made another thumbs up.
“Say Falikh…aren’t we going to the jack right now? Aren’t we here to stop a war?” Teth asked with popping vein while glaring closely at Falikh.
“Hey, do you guys seriously think this is charity?! We can at least raid some of their treasures and foods!” Falikh reasoned with desperate gestures while imagining the haul he could get.
“We are bandits…not burglars. We should stick to our mission. More like it’s your plan in the first place so why are you disobeying your own plan?!” Eiru sent his counter affidavit to Falikh’s stupid reasoning.
“This won’t take long! Right, Spoof?!” Falikh spews another reason and dragged Spoof to be his accomplice. Spoof nodded joyfully with the thought of gaining wealth at the same time.
“Fufufu, it is truly a Falikh-made plan, however, if we are to haul things here, how do you plan to carry them? You should have brought Furan instead.” Mika confidently shot down Falikh with a fair logical reasoning.
Falikh, upon realizing such thing, is petrified in his spot.
“That’s…no way…my plan failed…” He despaired as he got on all fours while lamenting. He just realized something that he could have done, though, it is not even vital for their original goal. Even Spoof started moping together with Falikh.
“This is a…fatal mistake…let’s go home…” Falikh solemnly said.
It was hopeless.
The leader himself has lost all hopes and motivation to do anymore. It was a crucial moment where a team breaks up and argues with each other. It was something unexpected in every situation. The leader has lost all hopes…
Until…
“You won’t get to eat my cooking if we don’t finish this…for a month…” Teth menacingly said as he glared at Falikh.
This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.
“Okay! I’m back! Let’s go finish this!” Falikh immediately bounces from despair to joy, or more like, he was forced to bounce back because of the thought of unable to eat Teth’s food is hell for someone as lazy and gluttonous as Falikh.
“This guy…how do I even trust my life to him…” Eiru said as he shakes his head left and right while massaging his temples.
“Then you, Spoof, don’t encourage Falikh with any weird ideas.” Teth sternly said to Spoof.
“…!” Not a word was said but Spoof flipped the bird on Teth and caused the start of a war.
“You…! I’m going to strangle you!” Teth raged as he tried to catch Spoof, but unfortunately, Spoof is agile enough to evade him. Threatening Spoof with food won’t work either as he is good at scavenging at anything that was left. It is safe to say the Spoof has a behavior of a rabid raccoon.
“Okay, let’s stop it now children. We are at a very dangerous place!~” Mika tried to pacify the situation with a smiling face.
“Yes, Auntie!~” Eiru said with a smirk.
However, at that very moment, Eiru realized his mistake. Mika was staring at him with a menacing smile.
“Dear Eiru, do you know, I have a closet full of fancy clothes…” Mika said.
“S-so…?” Eiru answered meekly.
“They are all right for your size…maid uniform, dress, evening gown, thigh highs, lace gown, swimsuits, and much more.” Mika listed off some of his masterpiece that could cost a fortune and young ladies all over the kingdoms will fight over for.
“S-sorry…I don’t want to dress like a drag anymore…” Eiru apologizes as his imagery of his own manliness is at stake.
With the useless chatter ended, Falikh and co. proceeded to the Jack's room to do their operation. They have the general direction Reysha but they don’t have any reliable information about the person in question, the king’s councilor.
Falikh already deducted the one who is moving in the shadows that manipulated the outcome of the decisions of the king of Kerias Kingdom through great experience from being in the royalty before. However, there is insufficient information about the councilor because even Reysha herself hasn’t seen the councilor yet. She only knows where the councilor’s chamber is.
Their group moved around the corridor rather freely because of lack of guards on duty due to the war and most of the guards in the vicinity were drugged to sleepiness.
They walked and turned and walked and chatted leisurely like the whole castle is their own home until…
“Shhh…we’re already here…” Falikh said as they approached one of the doors in the hallway on the second floor of the castle after taking a twin stair going up to different rooms again.
To begin with, getting lost in the castle should be impossible as Reysha drew an accurate map. However, for Falikh, mapping unexplored places is also one his specialty, or rather, it was a skill carried over since as Camille, he loved playing so many games.
“Spoof, do your work!” Teth urged Spoof as he is the only one who is capable of pick locking.
Spoof brings out a pin and small wiring. He peeks his eyes through the doorknobs hole but only saw an orange light indicating that there’s a lamp illuminating the room. However, he paid it no heed and proceeded on his task.
CLICK
It was an easy mission for Spoof. The door was unlocked before anyone knows it. As the door knob clicked, the door quietly opens itself and revealed the person inside the room, the councilor.
Contrary to what they are expecting which is a man with balding head and arched back with evil heinous grin, they were able to find something else…
“B-Breasts…” Teth nervously said.
“W-Wow…that size…” Eiru said admiringly.
“Oh, my…” Mika daringly said.
“……” Spoof, of course, didn’t mutter any words again but his eyes almost fell on the floor upon seeing the sight in front of him.
“Amazing, what a huge boobies!” Falikh said cheerfully. “You don’t get that often.” He added with a teasing tone.
In front of them is a girl with turquoise colored hair and green emerald eyes wearing a magician’s robe that fully exposed her erotic cleavage that instills lust to men. Her skin is fair and her eyes are alluring like it invites attention. Her figure is of an hourglass as the mere robe she is wearing traces the line of her waists.
It turned out that the councilor is a woman.
“Hmph. So you four are the rats that are crawling around the castle?” she gleefully said as she looks down on them. “I do not approve of any intentions you have, especially if it is about ruining my plan.” She added.
“Moreover, such quite the looker you bunch are. I am going to enjoy myself tonight.” She menacingly said as she tapped her wand on the ground and fireball started appearing around her.
“We got ourselves some real trouble…” Falikh uttered while his smile lips twitches.
