The ashen smoke erupted after a raging streak of flame shot out and the manor of the Einhart received a large gaping hole on its wall. The night sky momentarily lit up as if the sun has risen because of its brilliance. The smell of the burnt wood and molten stone wafts but this is, anyway, would be an interruption.

From the cover of the smoke, Exodus flew away in glee despite her body being covered with a lot of burns and wounds.

From the cover of their concealment, Ersha, Seran, and Mirsha moves out and started moving in unison in order to engage in battle.

“Ersha, Seran, I’ve enhanced your physical abilities, go get them!” Mirsha said as she started drawing out more spells upon executing one after another.

Ersha and Seran, the father and daughter, leaps out from the ground to follow up an attack, however, two figures immediately intervened as they brought down swords towards the two.

“There are accomplices, huh. Can’t say I didn’t expect them. No matter!” Ersha presses on but she immediately felt something amiss about the new enemies.

“Ersha! Be careful! These two are strong!” Seran shouted as the enemy he engaged then flung him away even as their swords are locked.

“Ah-?!” Upon Seran’s warning, Ersha flew off and collides with a wall as her enemy did that same thing to Seran. Because there’s an astounding difference in weight and strength, Ersha was easily overpowered.

The two figures land on the ground and upon taking a good look, Seran knitted his brows in displease.

“Ersha, I bet you’re not that frail, no?” Seran teases his daughter a little.

“Like hell that could actually put me down. So, what’s up with these two?” Ersha rebutted as she swings her sword as if warming up.

Two identical men stand in front of them from a distance. They are identical beings, donning brown hair and covering their eyes with a blindfold with weird eye engraving on the center. Both are wearing identical armors, a standard full plate for a knight of the Mesola Kingdom.

“Those two, they are not human, yet, it feels like they are!” Mirsha shouted.

A reverie of a flash of fight ascends into the sky as Reysha and Ivy pursue Exodus flying all over. Despite receiving a mortal wound, Exodus shows no sign of exhaustion or even did she flinch from the pain.

“Lady Ersha, let me assist you!” Ries immediately arrives with her sword brandished towards their enemy.

“Lady Ries, how about the Miss you are tasked to?” Ersha asked without taking her eyes off from the enemy.”

“My vice, Lala Forchure is currently at her aide. For that reason, I can be of assistant to you. This may be the first that I will fight with you side-by-side and to see your abilities firsthand.” Ries gladly spoke.

“I am honored to be regarded highly. Please, have my back.” Ersha replied with a faint smile.

Without any words of warning, the men attacks and Seran and Ersha parry their sword, however, their movements are far sharper than they thought as it was followed by a sweep by their kicks.

Seran was able to manage by digging his stand on the ground, however, Ersha was caught but Ries followed up for the defense.

After that, they exchanges blows in a stalemate with Seran soloing one and Ersha and Ries fighting the other one.

“To be able to fight in par with Seran, what are they using? Magic?!” Mirsha gnawed on her words as she becomes restless. She is maintaining Ersha and Seran’s enhancement and even woven a new spell for Ries who helped, however, she cannot use any more magic not because she can’t but because the battle was too close in proximity to be released.

As their fight rages on, Reysha and Ivy found they are being led by the nose by Exodus.

“Ivy, stop! She’s gauging us!” Reysha shouted.

“Tsk! Gauging?!” Ivy exclaimed quizzically.

“She’s been observing us from the very start without even attacking or defending. Good thing I haven’t used any decisive skills yet.” Reysha said as she glares at Exodus.

“Undoubtedly correct, but as far as I’m concerned, you two are quite a match for me. But that’s all I can say. Reysha Einhart puts out a lot of magical energy to enhance her body to pass normal human limits, a specific enhancement that strengthens her body to the core of each molecule in her. That’s why she is so strong. Ivy Hellbing, using the natural strength of a vampire, matches Reysha Einhart’s strength with a little bit of enhancement and allocated most of your concentration on offensive magic, quite an ordeal in a battle but not actually a threat as I thought.” Exodus explained with a smile.

“Wait…is that the reason behind Reysha’s absurd strength?!” Ivy snaps a look at Reysha and the person herself frowns unpleasantly.

“The biology of human, the kinetic performance one can do, the knowledge of physics, one who has knowledge about all of those can enhance every fiber, every strand, and even every single atom inside their body. Meaning, her knowledge comes from modern science that does not exist in this primitive age of time. She is a reincarnator, definitely.” Exodus said with a complete confidence.

“So what?” Reysha said with a default countenance.

“Miss Reysha is what she said true?! I…have my doubts before but…” Ivy stared at Reysha with eyes in disbelief.

“Ah, well, I didn’t think such concept is possible. I might as well try to implement that to my next homunculus. Well, those two below are all experimental test subject anyway and I am gathering so much data just being here, how joyous!” Exodus said as she gazes upon the two men fighting against Seran, Ersha, and Ries.

“Experimental?! And they are giving my father and Ersha a hard time.” Reysha furrows her brows once more as Exodus presses the word experimental.

“You came here for an experiment and to declare war? You want to take over the kingdoms for your own vices.” Ivy sought out to get a straight answer once more from Exodus.

“Hahaha, of course! But I won’t stop there! Why won’t I even start conquering the Land of the Titans from the far west, then to the Great Eight Continent.” Exodus announces, however, Ivy’s expression changes from a hostile one to a giggling laughter.

“Ahaha….Ahahaha! What was that? Are you really aiming that far? Are you?! You may prove to be the strongest here but you’ll only be a fly over there!” Ivy mocks on Exodus idea of conquering.

“That’s no meager dream. After all, if my mother becomes a goddess herself through the Tribute to Zosimos, we will gain absolute power! To think people would even compare me to my esteemed mother would be blasphemous!” Exodus shows crazed eyes as she exhibits the extremity of reverence towards Genesis.

“What lunacy are you spouting?” Reysha scoffs at Exodus words.

“You do not understand what you wanted to happen but, the people from the Eight Continents aren’t even on the level where a makeshift goddess can scare them. Also, with you all battered and beaten like that, I don’t think your words weigh much.” Ivy back up Reysha’s side comment as if they are purposely provoking Exodus.

“My words seem unproven, no? Then, shall I take the spotlight?” Exodus said as she started gliding towards Ivy and Reysha.

However, in the middle of her flight, she blurred for a split second and appeared in front of Ivy.

“Wha-?!” Ivy tried to shove her body away from Exodus, however, since she was taken in by surprise, her reaction was much slower and she didn’t have enough time to cast her time stop.

However, Exodus didn’t attack but just touch Ivy on the hand for a moment only before moving back again.

“…What did she do? Instantaneous movement? That is something none can achieve without greater risk or some compensation.” Reysha tried to throw an attack, however, what comes after made her broke out in cold sweat.

“Miss…Reysha…it hurts…” Ivy said as tears streamed from her eyes.

Burns that was supposed to be on Exodus’ body suddenly appears on Ivy. The placement of the wounds, burns, and even the little bit fair detail of the scratches are all on her body.

“It hurts! IT HURTS!” Ivy panics and lost her concentration on her flight magic and falls.

“Ivy!” Reysha rushes to her aid but was suddenly stop as she needed to dodge an attack from Exodus.

WHOOSH

Exodus punches nothing but the air but it violently shook the atmosphere. It even managed to blow some part of the Einhart Manor away together with flying rubbles.

Reysha gave up on pursuing Ivy and put all of her attention on Exodus.

“She was easier than I expected too. It really got my hopes up that she is competent.” Exodus said with a faint smug on her countenance. All of the wounds, burns, and scratches are now gone with the exception of her tattered clothes.

Afterward, Exodus traces her nail on the base of her neck and blood spurted out.

“I cut a carotid which would be really fatal for a normal human. I think this time, it’s your turn.” Exodus said as she dashes towards Reysha.

“She plans on transferring the wound on me?! That is just insane…” Reysha started moving away from Exodus and started a chase.
