It’s been two weeks since Reysha and co. discovered one of the biggest mystery of the Dimensional Crack. For that duration of time, Reysha and Ivy keeps investigating the nature of the Crack and made several assumptions on how such phenomena happened.
A byproduct of their clash that greatly distorts the space, a trigger that constructed a warp through unnatural means, the place being potentially weak to spatial breakdown, and more. But they knew in the end that no means, it was their battle that manifested the problem.
They are both accountable but in the first place, the cosmic phenomenon is something unexpected and both unwanted.
Their conclusion leaned towards sealing it after all. Based on what Falikh said, putting a cork into this hole would be much better. It is the place that his mother seeks where the God Eresti can be resurrected.
And so, the day Aspara arrived, they immediately explained the situation to her personally rather than calling her through a cellphone.
“Well, that’s the gist of it, Miss Aspara. If you would like, we can proceed to the very subject itself. I have made preparations and all the materials needed though it cost me much more than I thought.” Ivy said while bringing out the necessary materials.
“I’m going with a levelheaded decision and accept that the task must be carried out immediately. I have taken a leave again from the King’s presence and I am quite worried about the preparations.” Aspara said.
“Preparations? Does the Kerias Kingdom has something to commence?” Meriyal who was listening to a distant asked so.
“Pardon me, Princess of Breille, but this is certainly not something you should concern yourself over with. Well, it’s not like it is something special.” Aspara replied with a stern and unfaltering tone as soon as Meriyal spoke with her.
“How audacious. See to it that I am extending a hand if your Kingdom is in something dire. I can be dealing with something troublesome with a diplomacy in mind.” Meriyal boasted with a smirk.
“Argh! I hate that smile of yours!” Aspara exclaimed in an annoyed tone.
“Mind you, Councilor Aspara and Princess Meriyal but, we are discussing the Dimensional Crack.” Reysha intervened with their personal grudges against each other.
“It’s rude to address me after someone lower in standings, Reysha Einhart.” Meriyal simply threw a quaint complaint. “Well, I’m guessing you already know about your Kingdom’s affairs. What is it?” Meriyal inquisition put a dent on Reysha’s default face as her face cramped a little.
“Oho? That is to say, this coming first week of summer, her birth is to be celebrated you see. The King of Kerias and Her household, the Nobility of Kerias, especially her father, are close friends. They are already scouting a lot of possible suitors for her.” Aspara said with a glee look towards Reysha who broke in an anguished frown.
“I shall bring down my fist upon your cranium but it won’t ease this setting problem for me.” Reysha snarls at Aspara full of spite.
“Come to think of it, Miss Einhart is of a noble lineage in your Kingdom. Hmm, shall I make an appearance myself? It’s a good bridge to instantly close the gap between our kingdoms ever since the hostility between us commenced several months ago.” Meriyal said with fine reasoning.
“Shrewd as ever. Gaining approval of the populace not only from her own kingdom but also to others to raise her possibility of ascending to the throne.” Reysha thought as she stares at Meriyal with disbelief countenance.
“Should I myself come too? On top of starting a route trade through the Breille Kingdom, I want to make a direct connection with the Royalties of your Kingdom too, Miss Reysha.” Ivy stated with economic growth in mind.
This content has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.
“Fair enough. Unlike the Mesola Kingdom, our Kingdom doesn’t openly show their dislike of the demons.” Reysha simply.
“Doesn’t openly shows…huh?” Ivy muttered those words reminds her that as demons, they are not widely recognized as allies by all of the kingdoms.
Unlike the Kingdom of Breille who openly welcomed them due to Princess Meriyal recommendations, they also gained approval by helping them get through the winter with a solid trade with the Sirius Kingdom. The Kerias Kingdom on the other hand greatly caters to the strong. Magic and Martial arts alike are being given importance, however, a minority of them still harbors ill intent to the demons.
“Ah, I want to come as well!” Falikh suddenly barges into their conversation.
Reysha couldn’t believe what she heard and give Falikh a perplexed stare mixed with visible scorn. However, the man himself couldn’t detect the hostility that Reysha exuded.
“Do you even know what you are trying to say, you moron. You are a fugitive in your own Kingdom and you are a fugitive as a bandit too. Noble girls that you have extorted will also make their appearances. Though I am certain that the news of you being a wanted criminal in the Mesola Kingdom has already made known across the three kingdoms years ago.” Reysha calmly reprimanded with knitted brows.
“Yeah, you’ll just bring unnecessary commotion reading you by your nature.” Aspara sheepishly backed Reysha’s statement.
“That’s that, but, are you guys aware of the rumors about villages and the small town being converted to the Sect of Eresti?” Falikh’s voice is comical but the sentence itself brought certain weight.
“We are not yet ever since returning back and forth from my own Kingdom to the Sirius Kingdom. What of it? This rumor you are referring to?” Meriyal asked.
“I see. I myself is aware of it and to be honest, I am much worried about it right now that the Dimensional Crack seems secondary.” Aspara said as it was her turn to knit her brows.
“That’s right. A few months ago, Furan talked with a lot of housewives he gave a house visit. The archbishop of Mesola Kingdom has been abducted. At the same time, the Sect of Eresti is spreading throughout Mesola’s vicinity. The last thing Furan said was that the spreading has already crossed the border between the Mesola Kingdom and the Kerias Kingdom.” Falikh gave an explanation regarding the rumors.
“Housewives?! Are you really going to gather information from such sources? Come to think of it, Falikh himself was once a housewife…” Reysha gritted her own teeth from the vexing feeling coming from her chest.
“That is so what I’ve heard. Considering how powerful Archbishop Genesis is, I cannot shake the feeling that there’s a conspiracy here.” Aspara laid her own points.
“As long as you take away my mother’s staff, she is as weakened as a small girl.” Falikh supplements another crucial information.
“…That is something unexpected. So she drew power from the staff?” Reysha, who firsthand fought Genesis, asked with a curious countenance.
“No, it is more to say that the staff itself is only a method for her to bring out her true divine powers. Claimh Solais is just one of the power that staff can grant her but in totality, my mother is powerful with her divine powers alone. Moving on, it is also said that she can create miracles and the rumors of a miraculous young girl are the one spreading the religious words.” Falikh once again explained.
“So I heard too that it was perpetuated by a girl with long golden hair and deep velvet irises…just like you, Falikh. She is also accompanied by two followers in her venture.” Aspara laid out new information.
“That’s why I want to come to the Kerias Kingdom. I want to investigate around to see if my mother has already reached the capital.” Falikh said in a serious voice with default countenance. “If possible, I would like to bring some of the members too.” Falikh added.
“If that is the case, I wouldn’t raise arguments anymore. Should you guys be discovered, don’t drag me and Councilor Aspara!” Reysha resigned but gave a warning.
“Hey, about the cute ol’ me?” Victoria’s voice reached out to them.
Hearing her speak, everyone turned their head towards her direction. Victorias was sitting on the stair with a lonely eye. Though she is boyish, Reysha herself finds it cute considering that she is her very own granddaughter from her past life.
“Should you come, you will also see Ersha and Yrsha, is that fine with you?” Reysha said, however, upon hearing the names of Reysha’s sisters, Aspara shivered.
“I’m fine with that! I’ve already detached my connections with that troublesome king from Mesola. More like, I’ll look forward to seeing people dropping their jaws when the hero and the demon lord say hi!” Victoria showed a genuine smile of joy.
“Yeah, this is most likely still the granddaughter that I know.” Reysha thought inwardly.
“Hey, we’ve sidetracked from the main topic of the day. Today, we are going to close the Dimensional Crack! Knowing that Genesis has already come that far, closing it should be our top priority!” Ivy voiced out her concern and returned everyone’s attention to it.
“That’s right. We can’t let her find out about that place.” Reysha’s resolute voice resounded as they carefully laid out the materials needed.
