“Next! Please prepare your identification cards and documents! Next!” Shout by a soldier as he skimmed through papers of the passing citizens outside the gate of the Mesola Kingdom Capital.
The soldier noticed a carriage being pulled by two horses. The coachmen seem like twins and they have a matching mustache. He hovered over the list of wanted men. The very first and notorious among the wanted criminals is Falikh. The rest are like small flies compared to him for his outrageous bounty.
Around the rank of forty’s to fifty’s, he saw twins who are notorious for their scamming streak. The two are called Sod and Mes. He looks again at the coachmen and figured that…it might not be them.
The carriage with the twin coachmen stops right in front of the soldiers. From the window, a man peeks from inside, a man so dazzling that his brown hair seems to brighten the inside of the carriage. From the other window peeks a woman of beauty with hair as deep as the ocean with a face that cannot be called common or rather, something like super rare in the city.
“Excuse me, fair Miss and Sir, are you two perhaps nobles?” The soldier timidly asked.
“I am Aspara. I came from Kerias. I am not to speak of my motive here, right? It’s none of your business as long as I can show you proper documents, right?” Aspara said as she handed over her documents proving that she is a legal citizen.
“And…this Sir here?” The soldier turns to Mika.
“That’s Madam Fleur. His documents and the other’s document are already in there in your hands. I don’t want you disrespecting Madam, soldier.” Aspara threatens the soldier a little as he looks at Mika with suspicion.
“I understand. I am sorry for my rudeness. All of you seem like legal citizens. You may pass now. Again, I am sorry for my rudeness.” The soldier said as he bowed down to the leaving carriage of Aspara and the others.
As soon as the carriage left earshot, Mika speaks to Aspara.
“I am amazed at how you just forged those documents at moment’s haste. Thank you for that Aspara.” Mika praises her with a smile.
“I will do anything for you, Madam, as long as I can get my hands first on your new creation, the Pristine Morning Dew.” Aspara replied with a smile.
“Fuaah! That gave me cold feet! That soldier was totally glaring at us earlier!” Sod said with a sigh.
“Yeah, yeah! He was definitely watching out for us! The Sod and Mes duo are really fearsome even though we stopped operating here for a year now!” Mes added.
“Hmph! Wherever I look, your faces aren’t even posted anywhere…more like…” Reld said as he fixes his glasses and stares at the wall filled with posters.
“A lot of…Falikh’s face…” Eiru continued Reld’s words as he is also flabbergasted by the amount of Falikh’s poster running along every houses and wall.
The Mesola Kingdom Capital is a city of wealth and prosperity as it won the war against the Beast Kingdom. Crimes are much lower than the other kingdom’s capital, however, there are numbers of criminals that are hard to catch.
It continuously prospers because of its religious aspect and for that, most cities in and out of the kingdom have churches that willingly trains and heals people. But studying the very essence of healing itself is much more productive on the capital itself.
“Now then, our new quest is to find where this foolish prince is hiding. The Mesola Kingdom has approximately twenty thousand people. Travelers and adventurers are not included in that count yet. Finding him will probably the hardest part.” Aspara said as she opens the map of the city landscape.
“If I may, we should find a place to stay first before doing anything else. A base of operation per se. I am guessing we are going to stay for a while here.” Eiru concluded in which Aspara, Mika, and Reld nodded to.

“Aye Aye! We know a good place! Cheap but has good reception! They also serve wine and let you table some chicks!” Sod interjected the conversation from outside.
“I don’t need that. If I may be specific, I want something gorgeous and a place where we can get information, credible information.” Aspara said as she shot down Sod’s suggestion.
“Eeeeh?! But that would cost a lot!” Mes tried to support Sod answering back at Aspara.
“Hmph. I am rich and I won’t let Madam Fleur stay at a shady inn the two of you are suggesting. Having magic as my primary objective is ideal, however, having wealth is a secondary for me. Fufufu!” Aspara boasted with a laugh that is obviously looking down at the twins.
“”DAMN RICH PEOPLE!”” Sod and Mes said in unison as they got a little frustrated.
Because the two does know an ideal place, they turn their carriage and head to the ideal inn that Aspara said, a luxurious hotel with a reception that serves nobilities and rich and wealthy merchants.
Paying for all of them is nothing for her…
As soon as they entered the luxurious hotel, Aspara and co. are greeted with a rich atmosphere as a chandelier and exquisite lighting meets them.
Aspara approaches the reception with refined and gorgeous movements together with Mika making them the center of attention. Followed from behind are Sod, Mes, Eiru, and Reld.
“I’d like to get your most excellent rooms for six people!” Aspara grandly said.
The receptionist, a girl, skims over the logs and with a smile, she looks back at Aspara.
“As you wish, Miss! We have available rooms to accommodate you.” The girl said as she looks at the whole group. Her face got a little feverish as everyone in their group is composed of a gorgeous and unparalleled beautiful lady and hot and handsome men.
“Say, girl, since I am new to this place, may I know something about the latest events here?” Aspara asked the dumbfounded girl.
“Eh…ah…yes! Sorry! It seems that we are going to have a parade later because of the appearance of the hero summoned from another world. Also, there seems to be a new cult emerging as a man tirelessly preaches at the town square. He is quite getting popular too. Gossip is, the man, sooner or later, will be having rites of passage with the archpriest.” The girl explained.
“Well thank you. Here’s a little something for you. We will be heading out immediately so just show us the room later.” Aspara said as she tossed a silver coin at the girl and walks sassily to the exit followed by the others.
“Crap! Crap! Crap! He immediately got accepted!? Also, a hero was summoned?! How come I was not informed of this up until now?!” Aspara said inwardly with panic. Anxiety and excitement mix in her chest while she keeps the sassy pace.
Meanwhile…
“It can’t be helped. The two of us need to sleep in one bed for tonight.” Reysha said as she sits on the edge of the bed with Ivy.
“It’s a shame they only got two rooms left, but that’s fine. Sir Falikh got to hog a whole bed for himself though…” Ivy said with a sigh.
“Are you fine sleeping like this?” Reysha asked just in case. “Wait…you are a vampire and it is night. You don’t need to sleep, right?” Reysha followed.
“I still need to sleep!” Ivy exclaimed as she dives her face on the clean sheet of the bed.
“Oh? What do common misconception about a vampire that you can clear up?” Reysha asked Ivy just to start small talk.
“First, we don’t melt in the sun! We do get sunburned if we stayed exposed to it too much but overall, it won’t kill us! Second, we don’t turn to ashes when we die! We can die normally like humans! Third, crosses and religious stuff don’t scare us…though we still have a bad affinity with silvers…” Ivy cleared up as she counted.
“How about onions?” Reysha followed up a question.
“Eh…um…v-vampires…despise it…” Ivy said as her eyes swam left and right. For Reysha, something is already obvious.
“Eat your damn vegetables…” Reysha menacingly said towards Ivy.
“Yes…” Ivy replied with a crestfallen expression. For Reysha, it was quite amusing, like she is scolding a child. “Speaking of eating…I am little light headed…it has been quite a while now since I last drank blood…” Ivy added.
“Oh? That’s sad. Well, I guess you’ll die of hunger.” Reysha coldly said as she lay down on the bed.
“EH?! Isn’t this the time where you kindly offer some of your blood?! D-don’t be cold!” Ivy said with a flustered face.
“Fat chance…” Reysha said as the tone of her voice drops.
“Eh? Hey…please let me suck some! Hey…! Hey! I need some! Hey!!” Ivy begged as she shakes Reysha’s body.
“Geez, I’m just joking.” Reysha said as she gets up.
“You don’t sound like you are!” Ivy exclaimed with teary eyes.
Reysha loosens her clothes as she unfastened the buttons. She removes her cardigan and slowly reveals her unblemished and flawless white porcelain skin.
“I-Is it…fine? Y-you won’t…bite back, right?” Ivy asked just in case. Her eyes immediately fixate on Reysha thin and fragile looking neck. Her breathing began to become ragged. She also loosens her clothes
“Go ahead and let’s get this over with.” Reysha said with voice lacking any real emotions.
“Then...I’ll just smear some saliva to numb it…” Ivy said as she starts licking Reysha’s nape like it is her favorite food. Her licking becomes intense as seconds gone by and the bed starts rocking.
Then she bites…she slowly sunk her fangs to Reysha’s neck.
“Hngh! Ah…mmhh…” Reysha tried her very best to muffle her moans. Strong as she is, it doesn’t mean she is invulnerable from pleasure too.
Meanwhile…
An audience stands at the doorway, unnoticed and unseen…
Falikh…
“Wow…” He simply said.
