Within the noise of cheers and claps, in the encirclement of the people, Falikh and Reysha started drifting away from each other. It was a fleeting moment that should end as the momentary spark flashes out.
Seran and Mirsha hopes are elated as they saw how Reysha seemingly fits like a puzzle with Falikh, as the prospect of having a grandchild came. They are still somewhat suspicious of Falikh’s true identity but if they saw how Reysha acted in severe proximity with him, they deemed that Reysha must have really trusted him.
Reysha returned to her chair in daze and Falikh once again blended with the crowd and Oliver soundlessly returned by his side.
“Sir Falkh, that was incredible! I didn’t know you could dance like that!” Oliver said in glee with gleaming eyes. In actuality, anyone would ask if they saw it but the chances of other people asking Falikh is almost none.
“I’ve practiced it a long time ago. I’ve practiced it together with my beloved in the past. That’s why it came as a shock for me when Reysha started keeping up with me.” Falikh said in bewilderment as he once again sticks his sight towards Reysha’s direction.
“Sir Falkh, the person you are talking about is…the person from your past life, right?” Oliver asked timidly.
“Yes…but…I wonder…if Depp and Reysha are actually…” Falikh’s words trailed off.
Oliver, noticing that Falikh expresses a joyous glow on his face, feels downhearted. A wonder of feelings, of what could it be, of what it should be. Whatever from those, Oliver could not find anything pleasant at how Falikh looks at Reysha.
“Sir Falkh, there was something you should have done, right?” Oliver tried to change the mood to their objective.
“Ah…I forgot! I should be securing Miss Reysha! That’s so clumsy of me.” Falikh remembered it but rather than panicking, he only smiled wryly.
However, on the contrary of Falikh, Reysha right now is having the most desperate situation.
“Why did caught up in the heat of the moment?! That’s basically giving more leads of my true identity!” Reysha holds onto her face with both of her hand.
“That was quite a dance, Reysha. I didn’t know you know how to.” Ersha called out to her with a smile unsure of any intention.
“E-Ersha?! That was…you see…” Reysha was caught off guard again so her face appeared flushed and panicked.
“Reysha…do you really like him? Can’t say I’m keen in seeing you dating with someone for now but I really can’t appeal against it, huh.” Ersha said with a frown on her face.
“Correcting her…might complicate everything more…” For now, Reysha let Ersha thinks that way. In the first place, she felt like denying it would do something that may hinder tonight’s plan although she disliked that they have plans that she doesn’t know.
“Come to think of it, Yrsha has been missing for a while now. The last I saw her is she is pulling the man she is interested in somewhere.” Ersha said those words with a visible irritation.
“She’s with Spoof? I know that the guy doesn’t have any balls to do something to Yrsha but I’m worried for a different reason. Also, I can clearly picture it that Yrsha will be the real predator rather than Spoof.” Reysha knits her brows.
After some time, the greeting to Reysha continued but the men trying to woo her was reduced from few to none. The performance of Falikh and Reysha left a deep impression on everyone, even to King Ridil and his wife, Queen Aluria as they tried to imitate the steps.
The scenery of the gentle king and the clumsy wife was a pleasing show to the masses.
Even Ivy and Meriyal were thankful that they didn’t join in the dance as even their presences will be toppled by such camaraderie.
Mika, on the other hand, was pleased by the outcome and quietly waits in one corner while entertaining some nobles that wanted to gain a connection with him.

“Fufufu, that was a good performance my dear Falikh and Reysha. However, the time is nigh and we are about to begin our last performance. After that, it is for Oliver to take the stage.” Mika inwardly said as he looks at the night sky.
A moment later, an explosion from afar erupted and it attracted all of the people’s attention towards it. The explosion in the night sky illuminated the hall and after a large one, a series of more colorful explosion flew towards the sky.
It was fireworks scattering throughout the dim sky accompanied by stars.
Fireworks is not a foreign concept in this world, in fact, people use it in festivals and celebrations. Be it magic or explosive powder, fireworks becomes easy to produce and it becomes a common display for people to be dazzled.
The spectators are all watching the sky painted with exploding colors in a daze.
“It has started. Good work, everyone!” Mika said as she glances at Falikh and the latter also sends a knowing nod in confirmation.
Aspara who also caught of this sends a nod to Mika and also started moving. She closes into King Ridil and Queen Aluria to pull them somewhere inside the Einhart Manor, however, before she could even do it, another commotion arises.
“What now?!” Mika blurted in a low voice as soldiers guarding outside of the manor started flying towards the hall and crashes.
“They have the guts to cause a commotion at my presence!?” Ersha shouted as she drew her sword out and started strengthening herself with magic.
The people in the hall started panicking and they went to the side of the hall to avoid getting caught up. Several escorts and guards started manning up to protect their employers and nobles alike and drew their sword for the incoming danger.
Also, accompanied by the Einhart’s soldiers, the hall was flooded with its fighting force while evacuating the civilians.
Then, at the entrance, a line of soldiers was mowed down and flung with a scaly tail.
“Move!” A scream of a girl echoed.
The sound of armors clanking and crashing reverberated as the girl flung them in her descent. The girl who interfered is none other than Alef and in her cradle is Genesis.
“Uninvited guest will be purged. It’s your unlucky day for causing trouble in my abode!” Seran called out as he readies his sword given by Mirsha.
“I’ll be supporting you and Ersha.” Mirsha said as she buffed Seran and Ersha with magic that further enhances their fight capabilities.
Aspara, being the Councilor and a capable magician, took King Ridil and Queen Aluria away at that very moment while Falikh who saw that the intruder includes his mother widens his eyes in surprise.
Falikh was stopped before he could even move his feet towards Genesis but Oliver grabs his arm.
“Sir Falkh! The opportunity presented itself and we need to move! Lady Aspara has moved the king somewhere and we need to complete our objective!” Oliver cried as she pulled on Falikh.
“…” Falikh can only bite his lip as he saw his mother crashing the party. It is as Oliver said, it became the golden opportunity for them but the appearance of his mother made him hesitate.
“Sir Falkh, we cannot stop now. We need to seize this moment or we won’t be able to rebuild the Beast Kingdom Maelous!” Oliver tightens her grip on Falikh’s hand.
“Fine…” Falikh turned his heel from Genesis direction and went where Aspara drags the King and Queen.
Ivy and Meriyal watch the scene unfold with wary eyes.
“Ivy, is this also part of the plan?” Meriyal asked as Ries and Lala places her behind them.
“I’m not sure. That’s the archbishop so I don’t think they will go this low to use someone important!” Ivy also speculated as she prepares for any possible combat.
As Alef arrives at the center of the hall and landed she immediately let go of Genesis. Genesis falls over on her knees and tried to collect herself.
Seran, Ersha, and Mirsha together with the majority of the people do not know the true face of Archbishop Genesis so they pointed their swords at her.
“Don’t interfere, you humans!” Alef growled at them as she shielded Genesis with her own body while glaring at Ersha and Seran.
Genesis stood up with a shaky gait and started running towards Reysha.
“You!” Ersha leaped away from Alef and swings her sword towards Genesis.
“[World Lapse.]” Reysha whispered and the phenomena called World Lapse twisted the world’s reality perception and reversed the elapsed second and let her move within a range of seconds.
CLANK
“Wha-!?” Ersha sprouted a flabbergasted countenance as her sword hits the floor.
Before anyone noticed it, Reysha was already carrying Genesis by the collar of her clothes and threw her casually on the ground.
“Uggh…!” Genesis groaned as she was thrown.
“What are you doing here?” Reysha coldly asked.
“Reysha!” Seran shouted.
“Do not mind me, I know this woman. Also, keep that dragon girl at bay.” Reysha told her father as she glances momentarily at Alef before returning her attention at Genesis.
“Help…!” Genesis immediately jumps at Reysha’s waist with fleeting word of a plea.
It was nothing like Reysha expected it.
Genesis face is pale to its limit and her eyes are sore from crying and tears are still streaming from it. Her lips are trembling and her whole body is tensed and all of it was felt by Reysha. Even her small and slender fingers can’t stop shaking for some reason as she grabs on Reysha’s dress.
“Why should I help you?” Reysha coldly replied to Genesis’ plea.
“You need to! You are the strongest person I can rely on right now! Please!!” Genesis, as she clings on Reysha, kneels on the ground.
“Strongest?” Reysha muttered.
“She…is coming! I can feel it…she is heading here right now and she will definitely kill Falikh! She’s dangerous and she’s extremely twisted! Hey, please, help me!” Genesis cried out to Reysha.
