A man lay down on a bed in a dimly lit room. The said man has a jet black hair and wearing glasses with fairly attractive features despite his face indicating that he is around in his early thirties. The spacious bed he is laying down has a vacant space beside him seemingly reserved for someone.
The room is elegant and quite stylish as the window shows the scenery of myriads of lights from the faraway houses. The white walls and the chandelier gives a rich and exquisite feeling and most of all, the furniture is brazenly lavish.
The man is not by means, boasting but he is only fixing his lifestyle for his job, a professional surgeon, a renowned one at such young age. Lavish as his home is, he is eager, honest, and earnest on his job despite every criticism.
However, the surgeon who keeps giving treatment to the ill now fell ill himself. He kept overworking himself and not only that, a day before yesterday, he just finished a twenty hours heart surgery.
“This is just pathetic.” The man muttered as he cast a gaze at the outside scenery of the young night. His tired eyes endured a sleepless night so under it has a line.
Such life would usually destroy someone, physically, mentally, and mostly, emotionally. However, the man has a strong heart and mind as for his life, he wedded a woman that fills him with brimming energy despite the woman bringing unwanted troubles.
Suddenly, the door of the room slammed open and there, a woman with average height but beauty unparalleled emerges. Her brown straight hair sways and her blue eyes curving with eagerness and joy immediately glued to the man in the bed. The woman is the same age as the man but her countenance portrays someone who is only in her early twenties.
“Deppy! I made you some love porridge!” The girl said as she throttles towards the man named Deppy.
“You’re too loud, Camille. No wonder for the past five years, the neighbors complain about you. And what’s with that love porridge?” Deppy asked the woman named Camille with a knitted brows.
“I used some hex magic on it to make you fall in love with me!~ Be sure to savor it! The first person you will see upon tasting it will be the person you will be in love for eternity!~” Camille energetically said as she set down the porridge on a table made for bed meal.
“That’s just stupid. Your common sense as usual…is really absurd...Hey! Did you already ate half of it?!” Deppy made a side comment only to be followed by his usual retort upon seeing the half-eaten porridge. He stares at Camille with a flabbergasted face.
“Is that so? Eh? That’s why I think I just fell in love with you again!~ This is troublesome!~” Camille said with a grin on her face.
“For goodness sake, Camille! Give me that spoon, I won’t let you spoon feed me!” Deppy exclaimed as he snatches the spoon away from Camille’s hand.
Deppy took the spoon from Camille and started scooping some porridge. He ate the porridge while sneaking a peek at Camille who is watching him with a smile plastered all over her face.
“How is it? Already seeing a pink background around me and flowers floating around me? I know, I’m so attractive!” Camille haughtily said as she watches Deppy eat the porridge.

“Hmm? It seems that there’s no effect on me other than filling my stomach and heating up my body.” Deppy said with a cold voice as he continues eating his fill.
“Eh…” Camille muttered in disappointment. Her heartwarming smile fades from her face and her face droops a little.
“I can’t fall in love with someone that I always love anymore. Unlike you who are cheating on the previous me and falling in love with the current me, my love is honest and loyal.” Deppy said with one eye closed while watching how Camille will react.
Camille’s face brightens up with vigor and she stares at Deppy with a happy face.
“Fufufu, so smooth and slick. Deppy, I heard that even a sick person, a little exercise would actually help them recover faster!” Camille said while rolling around the bed.
“…It can’t be helped. I’ll do my best and go for a second one!” Deppy said with a fired-up face as he rushes to eat the porridge from the pot.
The next day, the surgeon couldn’t even stand up and the housewife has a glow on her face with satisfaction.

In a brightly illuminated room filled with afternoon sunlight, a girl opens her eyes. The girl is Reysha who is now laying on a bed. A white sheet covers her body and but the gentle breeze brushes on her face. She felt the gentle atmosphere calming.
“I did…fell unconscious…this place is…? Mousseux huh…” Reysha muttered. She immediately deemed that the place is indeed the sole mansion inside the forest.
She brought her hand to her forehead and tried to check her temperature. A little hot, she thought. She indeed caught a light fever. It could have gotten worse if she had stayed outside.
“Who could have brought me here though?” Reysha asked herself while staring at the white ceiling with chandeliers dangling from above.
She was doing a stupid trial prompted by Falikh and in the middle of it, by chance, she caught a fever and fell unconscious. She doesn’t have any recollection of what happened but she is definitely sure someone carried her here or otherwise, she wouldn’t be lying on this comfortable bed.
“This is just pathetic.” Reysha muttered as she casts a glance towards the swaying trees outside the window. The beautiful and graceful swaying of the leaves gives comfort to her mind. The sound it makes gives her the utmost pleasantries.
Suddenly, the door of the room was slammed open by someone. There entered the loudest person Reysha knows, Falikh.
“Miss Reysha! I made you a porridge! Though you failed the trial, I at least feel a little sorry for you!” Falikh happily said as he throttles towards Reysha.
“Loud as ever, you moron. I never thought I’d never taste a food you yourself made…again…” The last word was said in a very low voice that Falikh didn’t have a chance to catch it.
“As someone who likes to eat, I need to learn how to cook for myself too. Anyway, I put some secret ingredients to it!~” Falikh said as he winks at Reysha.
“Let me guess, some hex to make me fall in love?” Reysha sheepishly said.
“Wha--!? Quit blowing my secret ingredients!” Falikh said while setting down the porridge on a table beside the bed where Reysha rests.
“I better not see it half eaten, alright?” Reysha once again said with a blank face.
“……” Falikh could only stare at Reysha with a surprised face.
“You really did ate half of it…” Reysha muttered with a sigh.
“Anyway, how I failed that stupid trial. That only means I don’t have to go through it again I hope.” Reysha asked Falikh as she took the spoon from his hand.
“Yeah, I guess.” Falikh replied with a disbelief smile.
“Though, what are you really trying to accomplish?” Reysha asked as she started scooping on the porridge.
“Ahahaha, well, you look so bored for the past days so I just thought that, maybe let’s play outside so…you can amuse yourself.” Falikh honestly said as he sat down on the edge of the bed where Reysha lays down.
“Hmm, I’ll be frank. I didn’t have that much amusement from the trial alone but, it’s good that I get to see the nature around me.” Reysha only said while eating the porridge.
“Well then!~ Tomorrow, and the day after tomorrow, Miss Reysha would like to go to various places with us?!” Falikh asked with a glow on his face.
“I need to see what you guys are going to do so it can’t be helped.” Reysha replied to Falikh.
The afternoon passes as Reysha finishes the half-eaten porridge in a quiet time.
