Chapter 131: Identities 3

“Miss Reysha…” Ivy mutters as she stares at the girl with knitted brows in front of her.

“What?” Reysha snapped a reply while glaring daggers at Ivy.

“Do you really need to scowl while telling the story of how you and Sir Falikh met back in your previous life?! Can’t you at least smile or get embarrassed a little?!” Ivy protested as Reysha’s countenance grew colder.

“I’m not going to sugarcoat this one because it’s one of the most moronic decisions I’ve done in my life. Lovey-dovey wife my ass, that deal was a highway robbery, to be honest!” Reysha scowls once more, however, a faint smile appears on her lips.

“But it seems to me that Miss Reysha was quite satisfied with your life with Sir Falikh.” Ivy lightly retorted while grinning at Reysha.

“That was all in the past now. What life I have here now is different from the previous one that I had. That’s why, whether Falikh and Camille is the same person or not doesn’t matter to me.” Reysha presses a hard and headstrong declaration to Ivy.

It is as Reysha wants. She doesn’t want to have any connection with the current Camille now. To each and their own and that’s how Reysha wanted to keep it.

However, Ivy has something else in her mind.

“I don’t think Miss Reysha can keep her words though.” She said while sprouting embarrassed smile while she scratches that back of her head.

Reysha can only tilt her head slightly before closing her eyes in confirmation that she acknowledges Ivy’s words. She didn’t deny any of it and rather, readily accepted it.

“I know that, dumbass. I would have taken a distance from them the very start I learned of Falikh’s identity. That’s must be why I can’t leave them alone.” Reysha said softly while she started driving that fact into her heart.

“It must be really hard on you, Miss Reysha! I’ll be rooting for you! I’m going to stay quiet about what I know but I will root for you and Sir Falikh!” Ivy immediately declared with a little squeal and giggle.

“…Hey, are you listening to a single word that I said?” Reysha softly snapped at Ivy with twitching eyes. She wants to pull on Ivy’s collar but her body won’t allow any strenuous works right now.

“Don’t worry! I’ll do the best I can to give you and Sir Falikh time for yourselves and talk this out!” Ivy said with gleaming eyes and a thumb up.

“Whatever. I don’t care what you say anymore. The question now is…” Reysha pressed on to a new topic while diverting the current topic about her life.

“Yes, Miss Reysha, I am also aware of it.” Ivy tense up as the expression on Reysha’s face is clouded and vexed.

The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.

“How did Exodus learned knowledge uncommon in this world. For the seventeen years that I’ve lived here, science has never gone beyond anything other than knowing names of plants. Exodus knows too much.” Reysha spelled out the problem that has been bothering them.

“Your comparison is a little harsh but just to let you know, Miss Reysha, science and technology over our land is prospering evermore.” Ivy interjected.

“Don’t be ridiculous. Oversea travel from here to your land might be a hard feat to accomplish. No less, learning something like science and overall, biology and chemistry, would take you several years.” Reysha reasoned out.

“Fair point. I did fly here with my Mecha.” Ivy listlessly said.

“…Hey, what did I just heard?” Reysha took a double take and threw a question.

“Ah, since I confirmed that Miss Reysha is indeed a reincarnator, I think can tell you about my battle mecha. Although it was only a beta version and can be considered a first for the generation, it is indeed strong enough that I think I can go on par with Exodus if I use it.” Ivy explained vaguely.

“Wait, so basically, you are vampire demon lord riding a mecha? This is a first for me. From your stories, I get the gist that you and the people from your land are absurd but don’t you think you are too?” Reysha said while massaging one side of her temple.

“Yes! My father is a wine connoisseur and adept with technologies and such. He has knowledge about Ether Technology that was lost a long time ago. My mecha uses a core called Ether Point Core to run. It converts the magic in the air into energy as long as the host has the capabilities to perform the task.” Ivy gave a lengthy explanation once more.

“Why did you even bring something absurd here? Also, if you have something like that, won’t it be wiser to use it?” Reysha leans back on the rubble she is resting on with a deep sigh.

“I know right? It’s just that it’s a hassle to take it out from the underground lab in the castle. Kind of defeat the purpose of being big, right?” Ivy jokingly said.

Reysha could only stare coldly at Ivy for her nonsensical jokes. Though her body is hurting all over, Reysha has the urge to actually give Ivy a chop on the head.

Amidst their very comical talk, Victoria arrives at the scene.

“Yahoo! I’m here!” She greeted.

“The granddaughter!” Ivy beams in delight having knowledge about the circumstances involving Reysha, Faikh, and now, Victoria.

“Hey, don’t think of doing something weird, you bloke.” Reysha told Ivy as she immediately read what’s in Ivy’s head.

“Eh? You two, there’s something going on here? What is it?” Victoria, with peaked curiosity, asked with a grin.

“Nothing. How was on your side, Victoria? What happened to Exodus? And that explosion earlier, you are the caused, right?” Reysha barrages Victoria with questions.

“Hmm, she escaped. About the explosion, yeah, I did that! I have some insight from fighting with her. The next time we meet, I’ll claim absolute victory!” Victoria said with passion.

“So…” Ivy tried to say something.

“Hmm?” Victoria answered with a hum but unable to determine anything.

“…Are we just going to keep idling here? I’ve loved if I could get treated one way or another.” Reysha said with a tone of complaint.

“Yeah, how come things got awkward in one second? Anyway, let’s prioritize returning you to your sister, dear Reysha!~” Victoria said with a wink.

“Pfffft!?” Ivy barely stopped her laughter.

“What’s wrong, Demon Lord?” Victoria queried at Ivy.

“Nothing!” Ivy vigorously shook her head. “To think everything would escalate to this! If this keeps happening every single day, I don’t think I can hold out my laughter!” Ivy thought as the plain and normal scene in front of her is now a comedy stage. Knowing how the two are actually related, Ivy did her best to stop her from bursting into a howl of laughter.

“You’re definitely having the blast of your life, huh?!” Reysha glared at Ivy menacingly.
