“By the way, Falikh is a reincarnator! He doesn’t have any reason to hide so I might as well say it. Apparently, before he became the man he is now, he was previously a woman married to a man for more than sixty years. His name that time was Camille.” Teth said as he looks at Reysha with calm eyes.
“…” Reysha could only stare blankly at Teth who revealed something really disturbing.
“M-Miss Reysha? W-what’s wrong?!” asked worriedly by Teth as Reysha’s eyes turned white and her whole body froze right on the spot.
She lost consciousness while staring at Teth.
Reysha truly loves and appreciate Camille when she was still a man, and she still does.
Their bonds as husband and wife are unbreakable even they are faced with a stockpile of trouble. They always helped each other to raise their children and give them a good, fulfilling life in which these children of theirs also did that same for their grandchildren.
Reysha’s profession as a doctor would always keep her busy and rather, depressed because of her patient death. All those heartbreaking moments would hang to him like a shackle that would slow down his life.
But she was able to go through all of this, because contrast to the nature of her profession, Camille, Reysha’s former wife, is lively and energetic to the point that she is pesky. But she never failed to light up a smile to Reysha.
Their contrasting attitude created a good chemical reaction that constantly supports each other.
Reysha is serious to the bone, workaholic and began to become introverted as she grows older. Camille, on the other hand, is jolly, lazy but still manage to become a proper housewife for her and outgoing.
And on top of that, they are both highly compatible to both lifestyle and night time activities.
Reysha’s only problem with Camille is that she does too much prank, even as she grows older. More to say, her pranks as someone old is a bit nastier as she knows she could get away because she was a senior citizen, but she never harms anyone.
Just a playful prank.
Despite that, they will occasionally get complaints from the neighbors, although they said that they really don’t mind if she tones it down a little.
It’s always Reysha who gets complained though to the point of having a constant headache because of Camille’s action but despite that, she still loves Camille.
Also, Reysha herself is not safe from Camille’s prank, from youth to old age, she would always get prank by Camille.
Camille is also a glutton.
Whenever Reysha has some leftover that she stored inside the refrigerator, it would magically disappear within the span of ten minutes.
Of course, it was Camille who ate it.
Reysha’s first and foremost priority in budgeting is Camille’s food expenses.
The only thing that got Reysha thinking is how was she able to maintain a firm and healthy figure despite all of that food she eats. Genetics must be blamed.
The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.
But thanks to that, their night time was always engaging and energetic.
But, if you ask the current Reysha if she wants to get married to Camille, or rather, Falikh now again, her answer would be a resounding…
“Nooo!” shouted by Reysha as she wakes up, sitting upright on a bed.
Reysha woke up in a bed inside a small house, or rather, a shack. It was only a four wall house that can fit at least twenty people. The thing inside the house is the bed she is resting on, an array of cabinets and tables filled with rubbish.
There’s also something that you call a generic treasure chest. In one of the table, there are piles of precious stones and gold lying at the top. There are also swords, spear, axes and shields leaning at the opposite side of the bed.
The shack is only made up of wood but it is surprisingly spacious.
Reysha also notices something…
A familiar scent that only a man in their puberty or even in late adolescent would have in their room…
She felt a bit nostalgic as her memories as curious young boy crosses her mind, although a bit hazy now. But nevertheless, she frowns and felt disgusted instantly as the smell is too strong, or rather to say, a girl’s olfactory organ are more sensitive than boys.
However, it was oddly weird for Reysha on how kind those bandits to her as they lend her bed to rest, though a bit creaky and uncomfortable, she truly appreciates it. Also, her clothes are intact and there’s no sign that she was forcefully undressed or anything.
She takes a glance outside the window.
“Early morning, huh… the sun hasn’t risen yet… maybe I should take this chance to take a bath.” she muttered as she observes the greenery outside from the window.
She left the shack by slowly closing the door and sneakily walks.
Outside, she saw some of the bandits sleeping atop of a tree, some set up their tents but the most noticeable among them is the Falikh who is covered with a blanket as he sleeps on the couch.
“Is that really you Camille?” she asks inside her mind as she stares at the calm and snoring face of Falikh.
She holds out her hands towards the sleeping Falikh. She stops as she was about to touch his hair. She retreats and walks away.
Reysha made her way to the riverbank where she made the bandits take a bath. It was a cold a water but Reysha has long gone accustomed her own self in bathing on such temperature. All she wants right now is to wash off the dirt that sticks to her body.
She fully undresses and neatly folds her clothes, setting it aside and retrieves a bath soap and shampoo from her dimensional storage.
She gracefully descends the icy water and squats down to half submerge her body.
She hums as she enjoys the sensation of dipping one’s body in water. After a few minutes, she stands up in preparation to wash.
The water level is only below her waist but she was able to enjoy it.
The fresh, cool, breeze of the morning also lingers and the sound of nature made her broke out in a smile as she felt a silent solitude in such place.
“Even so, that Teth, he caught me off guard causing me to faint like that. I felt like my heart stopped that time…” she thought as she remembers what occurred last night.
“Good thing…they aren’t your usual brutish bandits or else they would have already done something to me…”
She thankfully thought, knowing that she wasn’t violated or anything.
She just grimaced at what she heard from Teth. It was too shocking to suddenly reveal something like that casually…at least for her…
“I really don’t believe in the existence of god, but if there are in this world, they might be laughing at me right now because of this situation…” Reysha frowns as she imagined those gods laughing at her.
And then, she just shook her head left and right to shake off those thoughts and just focus on enjoying her bath when suddenly…
CLACK!
A sound of a piece of wood falling enters Reysha’s ear.
She immediately turns around in vigilance only to find Amadeo flapping his mouth like crazy while a bucket made of wood lays down under him.
“M-M-M-Miss Reysha?! Wha--?!” he wasn’t able to finish his word and quickly turn around. His face was utterly flushed.
“Amadeo? There’s no need to be alarmed. You can see nothing good about this body of mine as it is flat and immature and I don’t have to say it but it is not well endowed. It’s a different story if you fancy prepubescent little girls, though.” she flatly said as she strokes her hair and starts lathering shampoo all over it.
