Chapter 96: Onwards to the Kerias Kingdom 3

“I fear we have not found him yet, Leader. Where do you think he will be at this time?” Eiru said towards Falikh who is in deep thoughts.

“He is not in the mountains? Damn, his ability to get lost is top notch. Good things his first-rate skill is survival especially in the wild. Never thought we’d lost him after finding him back when we did the trial for Miss Reysha.” Falikh said and followed with a deep sigh.

The Band of Bandits started another meeting in preparation to move their base of operations and expand their business to Kerias territory, however, they cannot move as it is.

As for the reason, they are trying to find the last member that of their band, the Thirteenth member. They are to split their numbers in half but Falikh needed the last member on their venture towards the Kerias for a reason only known to them.

Falikh, the leader of Bandit Host Club and the Lost Prince of Mesola Kingdom. He is also called the Callous General who led victory to his Kingdom through trickery.

Amadeo whose background still lies in the dark, however, one of Falikh’s loyal follower. A man who is capable of on-hand trickery and acting.

Hansen, Falikh’s childhood friend and a high ranking noble within the Breille Kingdom. The one who supposedly control Falikh’s absurd behavior but get swept up most of the time. Being a noble, his etiquette and socializing skills are long shot useful at most of the times.

Teth, a man with an unknown background but one of the essential member as he is the one who cooks for the whole band. Hinted to have amnesia and have worked in Mesola Capital before as a barkeeper.

Eiru, a man that once served in the Demon Capital Sirius and known to be a demon himself. He kept the current Demon Lord, Ivy Hellbeing, in full glory until he got fed up and ran away. He is someone who is good at bartering.

Spoof, the special force of the group who specializes in stealth and covert operation. Once an assassin but found haven in Falikh’s promise of peace.

Furan, the group’s famous womanizer that slept with countless housewives. His network of info mainly revolves around gossips from village to towns but the credibility may be a hit or miss. He has lost his family long ago.

Morio, the band’s bard who is skilled with a lot of instrument but prefers the lute. He is a top-notch info broker and one who sings tales and legends. His charisma pulls the news and attention that kept his reputation as a traveling bard widespread but his career as a bandit is far known.

Sod and Mes, the twins who are once street dwellers. Among the bandits, they are those who are the most adept in swindling, scamming, and pickpocketing but they have a bad reputation for bringing suspicious news. Nevertheless, they are loyal to Falikh who gave them a place to call home.

Reld, A lower noble of the Breille Kingdom that was framed and has to escape. He was recruited by Falikh for his abilities in accounting. He is the sole man who kept safe of their earnings and budgeting.

This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings.

Marc, a once traveling nomad that was simply kicked out from his group of the monk because purely of his unstoppable mouth of swearing. Among the bandits, he is known to know how to use martial arts and capable of hand-to-hand combat.

Mika, the special member of the band. He is widely known as gay but shows in interests towards the other members. He is also known as the moniker of Madam Fleur because of his great feats in the industry of fashion for being a perfumer and a fashion designer. He provides disguise materials for the group.

There are thirteen of them when there should fourteen. The reason they are still not moving is that inside the great forest they are living in, somewhere, one of their members is venturing the wilderness in survival mode.

In actuality, they found that member when they did the trial for Reysha, however, when Reysha collapsed from a fever, they lost track of that member again.

“We did found trails of blood drained from animals and shelters made from woods but we already lost track of him by the time we followed his footstep. Some small caves have shown to be recently vacated but to no avail, we lost track of him again.” Amadeo reported with a complicated countenance.

“Hey, Leader, this isn’t working out at all.” Sod said with a tired face.

“The places he has gone have been vacated a long time ago and his traces are immediately covered by animal tracks and the change in weather. Maybe we should lay out a bait for him?” Zirk said with an evil smile as he started devising methods for the trap.

“My, my, you know well how strong the child’s luck is, right? Falling into a trap will not guarantee our success of catching him.” Mika pointed out.

“Luck is a factor, huh?” Hansen followed with a sigh.

“We all know that a long time ago and yet, I still can’t fathom how absurd he is. Makes me also think if we are finding a person or an animal.” Furan laid his own opinion.

“Hmm…” Falikh overhears everyone’s opinion and once again fell in a deep thought.

The members just stare at him with a quizzical countenance, waiting for his orders, however, as he once again lifted his eyelids, he sent a fearless and confident smile to everyone.

“There’s no need to act now. Everything is now set in motion and any longer now, he will be here because of pure luck.” Falikh said.

Everyone looks at each other in confusion. Some already nodded from his words because of their deep trust in him and to his guts.

KNOCK

KNOCK

KNOCK

A sound of knocking on the front door reverberates the still and quiet guest room where they gathered. Falikh’s smile widens as if his predictions are true and on point.

His expression alone brought everyone in their senses and knew that Falikh has never been wrong in this situation.

“Granny, we have a guest! Or rather, isn’t this the one you are looking for?!” Victoria, from the entrance, called out to Falikh in a joyous tone.

“See?” Falikh said with a smirk as he stood up from his chair. Everyone followed him from behind and head to the entrance.

“Granny…this…” Victoria pointed at the person in front of them.

“I can’t believe I got lost again in this forest…and it’s mean of you guys to leave me out just to find in time where you need me the most…” The...person said with a really embarrassed countenance.

“Well, you know when to come back when you are needed the most. Welcome back and let’s prepare at once.” Falikh said as he put his head on the person’s head.

“I want to take a bath…” The person said.

“Granny, are you sure this is a guy?” Victoria asked.

“That’s a guy, right?” Falikh looked at the person.

“I am a guy, right?” The guy said while looking at everyone.

“He is a he, right…?” Amadeo asked everyone.

“Yeah…? I think…he said he is, right?” Eiru affirmed with knitted brows.

“……” Mika only stared at everyone agreeing to the statement with a sour face, a face he rarely do because of how stupid the situation is and he can’t see anything good about it.

“A short white hair grew past her nape, blue irises in those adorable sockets, that thin and frail frame, and lastly, her smooth countenance tinged with youth. What also parts her away from us is those twitching pointy ears atop her head that definitely fox ears. This is definitely a girl dressing as a guy…” Mika said inside his mind.

“Err…I’m Victoria, the summoned hero. What’s your name?” Victoria introduces herself to the guy with a smile.

“My name is Olivi—Oliver. Nice to meet you, Victoria.” Oliver said as he shook hands with Victoria.
